A solid place for some casual korean food. Mostly offering hot pot, stews, and toppokki. We had the Combo which came with topokki, fishcake soup, and kimbap and ordered the tofu soup. The topokki was great, good amount of fishcakes, onions, rice cakes, and a nice flavor. The kimbap was okay (ive had better) and the fishcake soup was simple but comforting. The Tofu soup was suprisingly very good, loved the flavor. I do with the tofu pieces were a bit larger. Service was super friendly but a bit on the slow side. Also was bummed that there wasnt panchan served with the main.

The toppoki tasted good, but it seemed rather overpriced given how few rice cakes were actually in it. The fried seaweed rolls were okay, but I found the flavor to be too heavy on white pepper. I agree with the other reviewer on the blood sausage- the inside was quite mushy. It tasted better if you cover it with the toppoki sauce. I also wasn't too fond of the fried dumplings, just because the the tasted a bit strange and not really like beef (not sure how else to describe it other than weirdly similar to chicken). Service was nice but the cups they gave us had a weird fleck of something white, dry, and flaky, which seems rather minor unless it was actually a piece of someone's dead lip skin (in which case, icky). If you go here, I would advise you to just get the toppoki, don't bother with the sides or appetizers.

I got a budijigae, so good. Couldn't stop eating it to try my other dishes til I scarfed down half of it. The seafood pancake had a nice crisp with a gooey inside and a little char. But wish it had more seafood or at least less minced. The soondae(blood sausage) was too mushy and wet inside. It lacked a bit of flavor even with the salty. Dont really recommend getting that here. The kimbap was refreshing though. Overall, I liked the vibes inside and enjoyed the dinner.

Quiet Korean spot in a busy neighborhood. Parking is difficult. Service was fast and friendly. The food was great and I felt the pricing was pretty good too. They had a combo I wanted to try, but I wasn't hungry enough for it. I will return in the future and get the combo! This Topokki was great and the ramen was a fun addition!

If you love cheap Korean street food this is the spot. The restaurant is small but the staff is very attentive. We were sat down, given menus and water. We ordered beef fried dumplings and topokki combo 1 which consists of topokki, Kimbap, and fish cake soup. You can change what topokki and Kimbap you want but it comes at an additional cost. We got the cheese topokki & added fried seaweed rolls and tuna kimbap. Beef Fried Dumpling - they may look like they've been fried too long but they're full of flavor and very juicy. They're very beefy and the filling is not over seasoned. 9/10 Cheese Topokki & fried seaweed rolls- staple to korean street food and the portion is big. The cheese lowers the spiciness of the sauce and they add plenty of topokki. I suggest adding the fried seaweed rolls as they add a unique texture to the dish. The rolls are crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside with glass noodles. 9/10 Tuna kimbap: one of my favorite kimbaps to dip into the topokki because of their creamy tuna filling. They're quite thick and filled with more filling than rice. This is definitely a must have when visiting the location. 10/10 Fish cake soup: the broth is light and savory with a hint of fish essence (anchovy). Not the best fish cake soup I've have but the soup does have an assortment of different fish cake. 7/10 Tldr: love korean street food, come here and get the cheese topokko and tuna kimbap.

Seoul topokki is the ideal place to fulfill late night spicy food cravings. I usually get the combo of topokki + kimbap + fishcake soup and find it enough food for 2 portions. I've only ever ordered delivery so I can't say anything about service but my food has always arrived nicely packaged and on time. Food isn't mind blowing and it's a bit expensive but it gets the job done when the cravings hit!

This place is such an underrated Korean restaurant. Has the ambience, food, and service that you would want for a nice night out. This restaurant serves yummy Korean staples including army stew, cold chewy noodles, and Korean style vegetable pancakes. Funny enough, they do not serve fried chicken wings, but that's OK because there's so much other yummy items on the menu. The restaurant itself is very large capable of accommodating, large and small parties at rush-hour times. I like the fact that the tables have aconduction stove to keep hot items hot throughout the dining experience.

Such a great spot! There are a bunch of Korean options in this neighborhood, be we decided on this one because all the dishes we saw through the window looked amazing. The menu isn't crazy extensive, but you can tell they put care into each of their dishes. The staff was amazing and didn't rush us out, even though we were the last ones there. It's a pretty casual spot and it seemed like it was mainly students there, but don't be fooled, the food is still excellent. My friend and I ordered the Bibimbap, Seoul Topokki, and Kimchi Stew, all of which were delicious. The Bibimbap had just the right flavor and the rice was nice and crispy (go for the hot stone version)! The Topokki was spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. I loved the fish cakes in there. The Kimchi Stew had tons of fun surprises in there, including glass noodles and fish cakes. I can't wait to come back to this place and try some more menu items!

One of my favorite places for Korean food in Boston! I usually order take out or Uber eats, but finally dined in recently. We got seated very quickly as it wasn't too busy. We ordered the marinated crab, combo 1with rabokki, and tuna Kimbap. It was all really flavorful and tasty. The marinated crab was a bit messy to eat even with the gloves that they provided, however there was a good portion. It comes with a small bowl of rice.

I've wanted to try this place for a long time. I've been craving kimbab all week and this is one of the only places nearby that sold it. I ordered the bulgogi and spicy pork kimbab. They were okay. I had some from NY the week prior and these were definitely no match. There's a little bit of flavor...the crunch was not as good as expected. The spicy pork one was better than the bulgogi. The rapokki was pretty good, but likely too spicy for most people. The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly and there were a few slices of fish cake. The teakbokki noodles were perfectly chewy. I ordered takeout. There is ample table seating inside. To order takeout you go all the way in and towards the back of the restaurant where they will take your order. The place is on Harvard st/ave and as of late July 2023, all of the metered parking spaces are taken away. Just park near herb chambers BMW/Mini and walk over. 2 orders of kimbab and the rapokki ran me $38.36.

The Korean sausage turned out to be a bit of a wild card for me. The combination of noodles and sausage threw my taste buds for a loop, and I'm not sure if this is an acquired taste or not. The tteokbokki held its ground with a decent performance. The sweet and spicy sauce packed a punch. However, I couldn't help but long for more rice cakes. Fried dumplings had great texture, but lacked a bit in the flavor department. Being located in a vibrant Asian neighborhood means Seoul Topokki has some tough competition to contend with. With an array of culinary gems surrounding it, the bar is set high. While some dishes didn't quite hit the bullseye for me--the experience wasn't too bad and it felt good to support the community. So, if you find yourself in need of a Korean fix and happen to be in the area, give Seoul Topokki a shot.

    Spicy Tuna Kimbap

I ordered Seoul Toppoki through UberEats and have also dined in the restaurant before. My favorite items to get are their kimbaps and fish cake soup. Their fish cake soup is kind of pricey, but I really enjoy how they flavor the soup. It is light but flavorful and so nice to consume during the cold season. This time, I ordered three different kimbaps - Spicy Tuna, Bulgogi, and Spicy Pork. I really enjoy the spicy pork and spicy tuna as it has more of a kick to it. The bulgogi one was also not bad, though, and you can taste the sweet marinade of the meat. Their portions are pretty fair as you get a variety of other ingredients such as radish, crab meat, carrot, egg, and cucumber included with the meat. They do not overly skimp on the meat, nor do they use excessive amounts of rice. Overall, their kimbaps are solid, so I like to come back here whenever I crave one.

I came here with a friend and got the Seoul Topokki with Korean Sausage and Fried Dumpling. It was $30 for the combo which was a pretty good deal. The food was okay though. The Topokki was on the sweeter side and was pretty basic. The dumplings were great - it was crispy on the outside and will satisfy your dumpling cravings. I wasn't the biggest fan of the sausage, but I got it because I've never tried the Korean Sausage before. the casing was really thick and it also lacked salt. The staff was also really friendly and there were a couple different side dishes that came with the meal. This is a great option for the college students near by that want Korean food. It will have a good variety of items that can satisfy a group, and it's fairly inexpensive for the amount of food you get as well.

The portions were large and all of the food tasted fresh, very flavorful, and came out hot. Although the restaurant seemed unassuming this was probably one of my favorite bibimbaps I've ever had. The staff were also very nice and apologized for the wait. They come and collect your plates when finished.
