This is a converted house with all the charm of the best of the "dive bar" gestalt. It was Christmastime, so the whole place looked like the inside of a Christmas package. It was just a fun place to be where people are loud, friendly, and fun. sYou can tell it all stems from the ownership. Granted all I had was beer, but they had some good beers on tap, and a huge variety of bottled beers behind the bar. This is a place packed with atmosphere. It's a must visit if you live within 50 miles...serioiusly! As you know, a bar isn't something you design. It's a feel and atmosphere you create from management and bartenders. These are the important players in sustaining a fun atmosphere. It is they who bring in the crowd they want. These folks put on no airs and lots of fun.
