I was hovering between 4 and 5 stars for these reasons... Food: when we were handed the menu, i wasn't expecting anything special and initially thought we'd potentially made a mistake stopping here for lunch. however, i'm pleased to say, the food was really delicious. Danielle had a Turkey Reuben (not on the menu, but they were kind enough to make it). we shared a basket of fries and they were also great - probably more than we needed and a 1/2 basket would have been fine. i had a bowl of chili and a chicken philly. The chili was incredible. i normally have to doctor up a chili w/ a sugar substitute to cut the acid. this didn't need that and had a really nice heat to it. it came with some sort of corn tortillas that i'd never seen but which really made for a nice accompaniment. the sandwich was ok. the taste was good but the chicken was overcooked and dry and i had trouble chewing through the onion, too. overall, 4.5-5 stars for the food. Service: i don't know how i feel about the service. it wasn't really anything special. the bartender was the only person working the front and maybe he was just tired. he wasn't rude or anything just kinda going through the motions. i don't hold it against him at all. in fact, he was - as i'd mentioned before - kind enough to allow Danielle to order a sandwich that wasn't on the menu. Ambiance: i mean, let's be honest. the place is a dive. Danielle apparently knows the owners and says they've never put any money into it and it's kinda obvious. i haven't been there in nearly 20 years prior to Saturday and nothing had changed. where we were sitting the brick floor was beginning to break away from the wall. kinda makes you wonder how long before daylight will be shining through. anyway, overall i really liked my lunch and i'd be happy to add Sip-n-Post to our regular rotation. read more

First time here. Pretty cool local spot in North Royalton close to Parma. Dive bar atmosphere with some really cool vintage barstools that go all the way around the horseshoe shaped bar. Beer was good, though the craft beer selection is very limited. Can't comment on the food as I didn't eat, but my friends swear by it. read more

So we typically like this place but now I am weary to leave with my to go bags closed and will open them for now on. Walked in to place a to go order. The blonde just started getting her note pad out. I need them menu. Not a big deal. Food came out lightening fast, paid for it and the pop I sipped ok while waiting, grabbed my bag and left. Came home to open up the dogwood sandwich. Only to find that is not the dagwood. The bread is from drugmart probably, very little meat, with globs of veggies and coleslaw and mayo all on it. If my husband wanted to make himself a sandwich for the game today, he would not have sent me up there to order the Dagwood. Still a good place to go....just look at your to go orders before leaving. Came here yesterday for lunch. We have gotten take out before but we decided to just eat here and try it out. We are so glad we did!! The food was AMAZING!!! I ordered the chicken Philly and that chicken was so tender and melt in your mouth! Hubby ordered the New Orleans burger and said that was also delicious! We ordered the potato skins as an appetizer and were not disappointed with those either. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is super good! read more

Came In and wanted to pay with my phone and the bartender was pretty snippy about it. Zero patience. Wasn't overwhelmingly busy. I tried to let him know it says online I can pay with my phone so they could make whatever changes necessary and he told me that they had nothing to f***ing do with it. Daily Happy Hour and food specials are a tremendous value and the food is always fantastic.

Best burgers, wings with amazing sauces, fish fry and fries and onion rings to die for. Good reasonable prices, great local bar/tavern....it can get loud at times depending on day of the week and whether it's early or later in the evening. T.V.'s everywhere, including the booths, sports are big here as in most taverns. Have always enjoyed every meal here and every take-out we have ordered! Used to go here many years ago and always had fun. Fast forward to current day, been here twice in a span of a couple of weeks. Ordered finger foods and the surly cook pretty much threw the food at us and left. Went again recently and service was horrible. Mostly a young crowd on a Friday night....I get that....but there were two people trying to handle a crowd of about 100. Paid by credit card and they now are passing along the 3% credit card fee off as a "check out fee". .. it was not a ton of money but what bothers me is it's the cost of doing business. I feel establishments should disclose that when they do that. I realize some may disagree with my review, but that's ok too....just be a cash only establishment then or let your customers know of your policy. read more

I always have a great time at Sip-N-Post. It is a great local bar with awesome food. The bar staff is always friendly as well as the patrons. My favorite menu item are the BOGO wings. The bat is equipped with amole seating and an outdoor patio. Sip-N-Post also have a myriad of tvs throughout the bar. Great place for weekend fun. Two thumbs up. read more

Was my favorite local spot until I realized how many "children" are up there drinking. The food is decent and it's usually a nice drama free crowd. Now its loud and they'll serve drinks to anyone. Not so much a grown up bar anymore. If you do stop, drinks are priced well. read more

Best neighborhood bar, have been coming here with family and friends for a very long time. Favorites include the wings and the hard hat. You get a LOT of great food for your money. Aside from some odd regulars and poor jukebox choices from other guests, I've never been disappointed here. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars from me is that it's old which is no big deal to me but might be to others. You can't beat the food and drink prices here and the food is good. $10.99 for 24 wings all day any day and the wings are good. They will let you mix sauces together too which increases the section. The burgers and wraps are pretty good too. Beer prices can't be beat especially before 7pm and the service is usually outstanding. This is a large place and we have been there many times. We only had slow service once when the poor gal working the bar was all alone for a bit and the place was crowded. Despite that she kept up as well as any one person could have until help arrived and then right back to prompt service again. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. we ordered a pick up order of 4 dozen wings. when we went to pick them up we paid for the wings and then realized one dozen was not what we ordered. we were dealing with the manager(the owners son) and he said that we were wrong this was the right order and was yelling at us. we went back and forth and back and forth. he was so rude and not a way to talk to PAYING CUSTOMERS. i called back and wanted to speak to someone higher than he and then he told me that he is the only person he talks to and that his dad owns the place and i'm fighting a losing battle. disgusting human being i do not recommend going there at all!! read more

We discovered this place a few years back and have become regulars. The food is wonderful. The wings are great, burgers tasty and Jared's specials are sensational! We had a pesto chicken meal there last week that was better than most high priced restaurants serve. Keep those specials coming, Jared! The staff is outstanding. The service is fast and friendly. Jason and Angie know what we like and have the beverages at our table before we even get settled in. You can't ask or a better group of people. The atmosphere is a typical neighborhood bar with a nice outdoor deck that makes it possible to bring the grandkids there in good weather for a wing feast! They love the corn dogs. All in all, this is our go-to place when we need a casual night out with great food and service. Keep it up guys! read more

I have been once and liked it. It's the wrong place if you are expecting a fine dining experience but as a bar with decent food, I give it a resounding "I'm a fan." What intrigued me was they have Keno so I was curious to check it out for that reason. I will definitely return for a burger, wings, beer, and conversation with friends. Perhaps I'd give a 5 star had I won thousands on Keno but I think a "4" summarizes the reality of my experience. read more

the sign outside said BOGO wings for $10.99 but when I ordered the wings and went inside to pick them up they told me it was $12.99. When I told them the sign outside said $10.99 they stated the prices went up and would NOT honor the sign price. The wings are very good tasting however I will not go back there ever again due to the false advertising. It's a shame that they are willing to lose a customer over $2. Too many other bars around that won't screw the customers with false advertising. read more
