Let's start here..... I don't know what's going on with shops here in North Atlanta but since moving here from Miami my husband just hasn't been content. The only Place he went to, the guys schedule just got too busy and he has been forced to hunt for a new one.... well I, I have since my kid and him were coming home with some whack cuts. And this goes for many salons too. I have been jumping from hair salons since we moved here in 2017 no one gets my curly hair! Well... After months of trying many shops and just not feeling right I finally found the spot! I don't know about you all but my man and my boys like a GREAT haircut not just okay or even good. It has to be perfect and I can see if it's not... and that's just not okay. Can't be walking around with a tape that starts straight then just goes down a hill. I strongly recommend this shop. Any of the guys for that matter, they know what they're doing and I don't say this cause I'm Hispanic and gotta have my peoples back. I've visited other Hispanic shops and they just haven't been great. I got to sit back and take in everyone's work at Gus's while I waited for my kid to get his fresh cut. Everyone is VERY VERY GOOD. They allow you to make appts but schedule is unpredictable. I've probably been to 5 barbers and they are all good.

Went in for a beard trim and ended up getting a shave that jacked up the skin on my neck real bad. Told the guy I just wanted a beard trim, don't know his name, and he proceeded to apply shaving cream. I have sensitive skin but had some stubble and figured I'll take a chance...it should be smooth and close. Man..the guy nicked the hell out of me and then when everything was done, proceeded to spray and rub in alcohol/after-shave (which I don't use due to sensitivity) all over my neck. Holy...shit!!! The burning and pain was insane!! And he did this not once...but three times even after my neck started looking red and inflamed. I thought my skin was falling off by the time I left. This was the first time I've ever had anyone touch my beard... pretty bummed out. Additionally, I did not get a hot towel and had a few spots on my side burns where there was a strip of stubble left on my cheek. The beard trim itself wasn't that good. Dude just started going to town on it with sheers and ended up taking way more off than I wanted. Nice guy and chill place but I probably won't be back. I feel bad for all the barbers that I let touch my son's hair. I'm extremely picky ever since he was 1 year old (his first haircut) and I can feel you I've never had anyone better than Gus cut his hair. I drive a good 25 minutes from Johns Creek to Roswell just to get my now 6 years old hair cut....crazy I know. He takes his time with each client and doesn't rush until that client is perfectly done. I would highly recommend him for all hair types. Did I mention my son has crazy waive hair? $14 for my sons perfect cut and $17 for my husband. Totally worth the trip. read more

If you're looking for a great cut, look no further. These guys are the best. I wouldn't trust anyone else to cut my hair. I have my favorite but you should decide who you like best. Moved here recently from Salt Lake City. Tried 3 different shops in the Roswell area; butchered twice, and the barber who did an acceptable job was gone when I returned for a second haircut with her. Tried Gus' shop. First time Andy cut it; very good. Went back two weeks later looking for him. I discovered it was his day off. Got a guy who did a horrible job (and who incidentally is no longer working there); my wife was amazed that a barber would let someone walk out of a shop with such a poor haircut. I went back and got Gus the owner to straighten it out. He is the most talented barber I've ever been to. Also, while waiting for a haircut there I've had the opportunity to observe the other barbers at work. They are all excellent barbers. I'm just old and I don't like change, so I'll stick with Gus. read more
