It was a haircut but was it worth the money spent, I don't think so. Don't get me wrong the service was fine as was the cut but for 35$ on could have received the same for 10$ at great clips. Manny sold the barbershop around 1/22. I learned that today as I noticed he wasn't there. Still stayed and got my haircut. The barber cut off one of the squares at the corner of my hairline at the corners of my forehead. Didn't realize it until I got home. The other square was in tact. I hate leaving negative reviews for places I've only visited once but I have to say I'm completely disappointed in getting my haircut here. The girl that cut my hair had no experience with an undercut and kept having to ask the owner for help. When she didn't ask for help she ended up cutting my hair way too short and the owner had to try to fix it. He also tried to clean up my beard but ended up leaving a bald patch on the side of my face because he was going too fast because he had his own client to deal with. I would of had them just leave the beard alone if I was going to end up with spending the amount of money I did to look like what I do now. I really am disappointed because I had numerous people tell me that this was the place to go. I'm sorry to say in my experience it wasn't. read more

This was my go to barber shop for 3 years. A couple years ago it was purchased by a new owner (I think his name is Manny). My first impression of him was negative, but I continued going to the shop because HEY I was used to the place. There were a couple times where I witnessed him treat his employees very poorly (to put it lightly). But the last time I was there he was completely belittling this one employee while she was cutting my hair. It made me really uncomfortable and there is no excuse for this. I haven't been back since. 2 stars because you CAN expect a good haircut but it's just a terrible atmosphere. Atmosphere should be important for any barber shop. read more

They have a five-star rating for a reason. My son has thick, curly hair and the kiddie-cut place does an ok job, but not great. I took him to Great Clips and a certain salon school nearby and they both made a terrible mess out of his hair (the school hairdresser especially). Both times we've been to RBS Katie and Manny have each given my son a perfect cut. They intuitively know how to make it even, lay well, look cute, last a while, and they are great with him (he's 3). When I tell him he's getting a haircut he asks if he'll see Miss Katie and Mr. Manny! He loves them both. Although the cut is pricey for a kid, I think it's more than worth it if your child has hair that isn't easy to cut. I like that he also won't outgrow going to RBS like he will the kiddie place. read more

Just had my first haircut at RBS and it was great. The place itself was very cool but not over the top. My wife and I went here after reading some reviews.I wanted to have a "true" barber shop experience and everyone on Yelp named this place hands down for service and quality hair cuts. I was instantly greeted by the infamous Manny upon entering the shop. He was energetic, welcoming and eager to style my hair. I didn't have to wait to sit down with him. After a few introduction and joke or two he start sizing up the project of making me a new man. His attention to detail was spot on. Immediately he pointed out what needed to be done to transform my thinning hair in to a styled masterpiece. He kept cracking a joke about creating an illusion. But truthfully he was not kidding. He free-handed most of his work including my beard. I've never seen someone move so quickly and accurately with hair. The whole time he engaging with my wife and I about how good everything would look when he was finished. He did not disappoint. I would say as a someone who's battling hair thinning and balding.
