I've been there 3 times in 5 years. Each time the food was not prepared well. The pizza has been burned or under done. The first time the pizza was burned. The second time the meatball sandwich was burned. This last time I ordered a Chicago Style pizza. It was not a Chicago style pizza in any way the crust was under baked soggy and bland. Came into night very hungry and a little thirsty. I have grown to really enjoy this location over the last few months. It is super close and if you catch the deals then it's mostly affordable. Ambiance is basic as there is no sound in the background. Service was okay. The waitress forgot my son's water for more than half the meal. The pizza came out nearly the same time as the appetizer. Tonight's drink special was the domestic pitcher for $8. A standard pitcher has approx. 60 ounces of liquid. I asked to order the pitcher and was told no because I was the only person having a beer with my pie. I explained that I really wanted two beers but a pitcher was 50% cheaper than the two beers I would normally get at approx 44 ounces. I thought I heard the waitress say okay, but when the bill came out, it didn't match. I requested the cost of the two beers to be reduced since it was the special and 16 ounces less than the pitcher. I was told no with a couple excuses. This isn't good business and a new customer or a few months is about to go back down the street to Guidos. The new pizza we tried was baller. read more

I love pizza, and I love all different kinds. Gusano's is one of my favorite deep dish pies, but I'm usually alone so I grab a small regular crust on those occasions, like last night. The crust is always crispy and just a bit more than thin, but not quite chewy like a hand tossed. It's really good, just try it. They have several house pizzas plus you can build your own. I had a small mushroom and Italian sausage, which was plenty for me for a quick dinner. The pizza was spot on, a crispy crust with melty cheese and just right spiced Italian sausage with some delicious mushrooms. I took it to go, but I have dined in several of their locations and always have had very good service. Lots of great pizza choices in northwest Arkansas, but Gusano's is a must try. read more

So excited to have this in Springdale! We have tried eating in and doing take out. Great experience with both!! If you order the Chicago style, expect a longer wait as it takes longer to cook. Best way to describe this place is chaotic. I truly believe it is ran by high school students. Saturday night - drunk men in the back at 6:30. We were sat at a dirty booth. Host got our drinks because there were two servers on the floor. Serve took our order after about 10 minutes of waiting. Got salads quick but pizza took forever. Had to ask for new silverware and plates for the pizza. Never took away empty salad plates. Every table seemed a little unorganized and waiting for things. Servers were clearly overwhelmed but also just not efficient. So few places in West Springdale but I'll avoid moving forward. read more

One of the beautiful things about work travel is the exposure to rural markets. I would hold this pizza restaurant up against any pizza place in America. Fantastic crust, thick cheese and tangy sauce. The appetizer was the spinach artichoke dip was brought out on a flat skillet and was AMAZING! On top of it all, the waitresses were friendly and good at what they were hired to do. I wish I could drop this restaurant back home and Dallas...a true winner! read more

Ordered a deep dish pizza and was given thin crust. Said it would take 15-20 minutes to remake. 30 minutes later they said it would be at least 10 more minutes. Already paid but had to leave to pick up my child 1 hour 20 minutes after original order and they were too busy to give refund. Left with no food and then when I called we were disconnected and they did not call back. Asked them to notify me when refund occurred on second call and they said to check my back for next few days. The restaurant area is spacious and clean. Cute paneled walls and comfy booths to sit in. Tables in the middle are for flexible seating for larger groups. This would be a great gathering place for larger groups! Servers were friendly and helpful. I ordered cheese breadsticks and a dinner salad. My friends ordered the lunch special--aside salad and an 8" 1-topping pizza for $8.99. Service was quick and friendly. Pizzas were cooked just right. My wife and I went to Gusano's Pizza in Tontitown tonight. We got there at 8 and they close at 9 but the very pleasant young lady that greeted us assured us that was ok. Our server was busy with another table so someone else took our drink order and brought us our drinks quickly. Our server came by soon after and apologized for taking a while to get to us but we had only been seated for a few minutes. She came back later and took our pizza order. She checked on us a couple of times while we waited. She then came by about 40 minutes after we go there to tell us they dropped our pizza but would be happy to make us another. This was 8 minutes before the closing time and we didn't want to wait any longer. She again offered to make another pizza but we again declined. I am ok with all that had happened....mistakes occur...this is life. However, I was surprised when she charged us for our 2 drinks. I would expect that after all that they would have comped our 2 drinks, but no, she brought us a bill for $9.67! Really ? What happened to customer service? Owners you should be aware how this looked. We will likely go back but I will share my experience with my friends. read more

This new location has a unique and cool vibe. You walk into a rather narrow space which makes it feel intimate, or at least more conducive for conversation than a square-shaped restaurant. We liked the rustic wood plank walls and hanging lights. I've been there twice with parties of 2 and 6 and they were super accommodating. The bar is in the back with its own special vibe. Both times we shared the Buffalo Chicken pizza and Italian salad. The pizza was served hot and as good as any I have had. The Italian salad was a great portion with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is new and the wait staff seems new too but eager to please. My wife wanted wine but our server wasn't sure what they carried and had to ask the bar.
