When we went to the bar to order the bartender continued visiting with customers at the bar and then refilled a drink of another customer that walked up to the bar after us before taking our order. The food did come out in a timely manner.

The pizza is thick and cheesy with a lot of toppings. Quality ingredients such as fresh mushrooms and fresh garlic are among some of the delicious toppings. The only negative thing I have to comment on is that the service was BAD and the atmosphere was drab. The server was not helpful and barely acknowledged our existence. When we did get her attention and finally ordered, she seemed put out by our questions regarding the menu. During a lunch rush there was no background music playing over the speakers, and they had tiny TVs muted with closed caption turned on. I will visit this restaurant again, but maybe I will carry out instead of dining in for lunch. read more

The crust was "cracker-like" and didn't have the crispness on the outside combined with the soft chewy inside and the taste of the crust didn't have then yeasty taste a pizza crust should have. If this is the best Joplin can do when it comes to Chicago Style Pizza then stop calling it Chicago Style, it's no where near a real Chicago Pizza!
