We recently ordered pizzas to carry out. When we opened the boxes, the pizzas didn't look like anything Guido's would sell. The Uncle Tanoose we remember was thick with deliciousness, vegetables, meats, and cheese. The Uncle Tanoose that we'd just purchased barely had any toppings; in fact, there were places on the pizza that had only sauce and a little cheese. When are you going to bring back the good, pizzas we used to get, with lots of delicious toppings? Why cut the quality of your product so much? If food costs are going up then charge a few dollars more--don't sacrifice your quality. I've been eating Guido's pizzas for over 30 years, but I won't be back for pizza if that is your "new" pizza, that we might expect in the future. read more

Stopped here for a meal after a long day at the craft fairs. The staff was friendly and helpful. The salads are surprisingly large, even the side salad piled high with lettuce, cheese and tomato. I had the large Papa Guido's pizza. I was by myself. But, most everyone enjoys leftover pizza. The Papa Guido's had pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon, italian sausage, onions and green peppers. Their version of a supreme or everything pizza. It really hit the spot. It was delicious! It was crisp crust with a great flavor. They have two sides to the place. The best Jerry - the best! This is my first stop every time I come to NWA. Piled high with toppings, but on a crust that's light and crisp yet sturdy enough to bear the weight. Had a call in order late this afternoon. A real person who is actually professional answers the phone. Order was ready on time when we got there. Pizza was great, sandwich was great. If you're looking for the fru-fru wood fired two slices of pepperoni on top pizza, look elsewhere. If you want a loaded pizza with quality crust and home town Italian made then come here. No the salads aren't amazing and they use normal shredded lettuce but it's a pizza place, order a pizza. When I walked into this place I could tell from the smell that it was going to be delicious. And it was. The crust is crispy like I like it, wasn't full of grease even though I had tons of toppings. What can I say but if you go there you must try the Uncle Tanoose! The amount of toppings was significant with just the right amount of cheese. The crust is thin but not cracker thin; as good a crust as I have had on a pizza in a long time. The pepperoni pizza is spicy so if you like a little kick I would strongly recommend it. The salads are big enough for 3 people so consider yourself warned if you order this with a pizza. I did deduct one star as the Tontitown location does not have the best service.
