And the power of yelp is that we speak the truth about the places we go, taking away the power from the businesses that choose to mistreat customers or rob them under the reasoning of it's the only choice of businesss in that industry in that area so they take advantage and hike prices as some of the larger companies have down in the last year and a half here. I also hate to hear when people are stuck, hiring, uninsured, untrained people or for lack of their being other safe, trained, and available technicians that are not charging too much for the average retiree)., I can tell you that Austin, (the Technician and possible owner of this company?)is polite, friendly, funny, fast, it his whole back into the work , you could hear, and comes off non- threatening and knew exactly what he needed to do, went straight to it after talking to me about itand didn't ask or bother for a thing. I feel good about telling you quality experience I got from this company MGP Mechanical because I believe if there is no room for growth in this town, economy enough for a compliment or two to be circulating for even your competition,, we have real problems . Also, I believe it helps our economy when we support up-and-coming businesses of hard-working people such as Austin's business, ours business, and all other hard-working people putting the effort in to do the jobs that a large percentage of this town can't do any more for themselves due to physical restraints. Austin is obviously very nice looking young man, with actual manners, sweet to animals , kind hearted ( somehow I can tell you that due to our conversation on doggy's, reveals a lot about someone, efficient and polite. And I'm pretty sure if you are one of those elderly that have a low amount you're able to budget every month to for fixes in your house, it's gonna be a company like MGP Mechanical or ours that's gonna be the one to help you because we will help you in spite of your financial issues and work out contracted payment plans to make sure our neighbors basic needs are met. It's not always easy to see when someone has moral integrity worth getting to know them , and Austin was one of those gentleman making the service call workers around here look good. I believe with this gentlemen, you'll only see him continue to succeed and grow with this new company of his. As long as the community is connected enough to all have a little bit of Internet access and can continue to spread good news about the good workers, people like Austin will benefit this town, just as Austin will benefit from it. Work that was done: We received what they referred to as a "changeover "from him as he was who my rental property owner hired. Although he is our competition, I would recommend him in a heartbeat as he did the service as well and my husband used to do the exact process for work and got to witness. He said he did it well too. First, he said he needed to make sure we didn't have a leak. Well...we had a slab leak. He referred us to a fantastic plumber (Eddy Ks Plumbing and Heating) that fixes leaks under slabs and he did a phenomenal job. We still wanted to replace the water heater so Joe was patient while all the excavation, repair, and restoration work was done. Joe did a great job replacing our water heater and even built a new stand/table for it. We were billed what we were quoted and he showed up on time and was very professional. We needed to upgrade our entire HVAC system due to rising energy costs. They came out for for a quote and check what we needed. When the consult and quote was done, within 2 days we were scheduled and installation began. The crew was professional and quick with the work. Now, we have a system that is so much more comfortable and keeps all rooms at a constant temperature. Five rooms, 5 room systems and 2 outside units with all electrical and ductwork was done in 1 1/2 days. The cool part of the system is it's controlled by remote, and there's one in each room, but if one is lost, they work on the rest, Awesome thing about this system, each room can be set to heat, cool and automatic control. You set the temp you want (all function controlled by remote control) and how powerful you want the fan, you can set it to sweep back and forth etc... One thing I do want to say that I was able to dictate the placement of the unit in our bedroom. Although it may have been easier for the crew to place the unit a wall closer to the outside unit, I requested another wall so I did not have to move family pictures and special things. The owner told me, that I had to live with it, so they would do what I wanted. I'm disabled and having thing's comfortable isn't always easy. The cost of this system is worth every penny. The speed of process from time of initial contact to completion was about a week. Thanks to the crew who came out and made our home more comfortable. We got it just in time for a really cold, snowy and windy storm and all the rooms were so comfy. They are a professional, knowledgeable, and polite crew.

Jun 28, 2026 There were so many problems with finding a leak…read morewith my inversion AC/heat system, that I wrote a journal and just want to warn anyone who engages this business. Beware! After adding refrigerant twice to a sealed system, I was told to make an appt for 4-6 hours because the entire system had to have coolant removed, nitrogen added to hear the leak , repair it and then have the coolant added again. The cost of one lb of coolant was $444. It can be purchased by them at $250 for 25 lbs., a 400% markup. I asked the repair person to make the next appointment when he was available at 8am. He then told me I would have to pay more than $1700 up front for the "worst case 4-6 hour scenario taking apart the head units, and crawling checking every line" for repair under the house. The day of the appt, I waited an hour and a half past appointment arrival time 8.00, and called, and was told the repair person had been sent to another job. No notification. Next, I was told another crew would be out by 11. The truck arrived out front, sat for a few minutes and drove away. No notification. I called and was told there was an emergency at another location. And my mistake was paying up front. Never pay up front! Eventually two people came. After about an hour they called me out to show me the leak was at the two bolts connecting tubing right at the outdoor condenser. It could have been easiIy detected at first visit, and so, expressed my pleasure at getting a refund after paying a huge amount for the"worst case Scenario". They told me I'd get not refund. Diego, who found the leak and tightened the two bolts seemed to be the only competent person in the entire business. I hope he got the main cunk of the $1700. Doubt it.
