I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Food: good. They will bring a little plate of different vegetables or items they have in the display from the shop. They will also bring bread with your dinner. We had the burrata salad, the pesto spaghetti, and the Sicilian meatballs. I have had better meatballs and was expecting more from them. The simple spaghetti it came with was good. Service: all over the place. The owner/manager constantly chewed out his (new?) waiter in front of everyone. He yelled when the waiter was far and yelled when they stood face to face. The new waiter was really not paying attention. He would bring salt and pepper then take it away. He didn't lay the table with napkins and I ended up staining my dress when he put down the salad. He would bring the Parmesan or olive oil and balsamic then take it away before our food arrived. He took our empty salad dish and then asked us if we were done and wanted the bill.. when we had two meals coming and a near full bottle of red wine. Where do I start. This small family owned Italian restaurant was one of the most authentic places I have ever been to. It is a very small place so if you want to get a seat you must come early. We didn't know how small it was but we got lucky because a family was leaving when we arrived. It was very crowded but not too loud. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The pizza may look humongous and come off the plate but it was not too heavy. The crust was perfectly cooked and the dough was light. For dessert you must order the tiramisu or the gelato. read more

Amazing Italian food, my family ordered the linguini bolognese (amazing and authentic), Spinach Ravioli with white sauce (rich and to die for) and the Seafood/shrimp risotto (which my sister said was the best risotto she's ever had). We were the only non-Parisians there - always a great sign! My sister and I got the pesto linguine & our mom got the vegetarian lasagna. It was by far the best pesto pasta I've ever had...and I studied abroad in Milan. I only wish we'd discovered this place sooner so we could've tried more things on the menu! This gem is right around the corner from the Eiffel Tower and surprisingly it is not a tourist trap. The italian food is authentic and extremely delicious. The service is fantastic, the decor is ultra charming, the portion size great, and the prices are super reasonable. I've walked by this place a million times on my way to the Eiffel Tower and the entire street always smells so delicious but the place is always packed and I always thought it was gonna be expensive. Tonight, after an unsuccessful attempt to go to another restaurant we ended up here. Pastas and Pizzas are as low as 9 EUR and they have salads and meats as well. We ordered a regina pizza (jambon blanc, mushrooms) for 12 EUR and a penne arriabata for 10 EUR. The thing crust pizza had the best most amazing crust i've ever had and their pizza sauce was delish. The penne arriabata looked a little plain when it first arrived as it was just pasta in red sauce with half a grape tomato for decor, but the taste was sooo good. I wasn't that hungry to begin with but after eating one bite, i just kept going. And when i finally could not finish, my bf who just ate the huge pizza on his own ate the rest of mine, thats how good the food was. Careful, cuz the penne is super spicy. Then for dessert, our server who is really friendly suggested a tiramisu plate. FOUR flavours of half tiramisu slices for 12 EUR (6 EUR usually for one tiramisu). The half slices are huge (see picture). There was original, chocolate, graham cinnamon, and berry. They also take ticket restaurant, as many as you want to use. I can't wait to come back. read more

I should've known better than to go for pizza in Paris. Paris after all is the land of escargot, foie gras, macarons, etc. When in Rome . . . But, I was really craving pizza so I went anyway. The crust wasn't crisp at all, but quite floppy and soggy-like. There wasn't much flavor to the pizza overall. Not to mention, I dislike the fact that you ask for water and they take advantage of that and bring you the expensive 6 euro one. But, I guess that's typical of a lot of restaurants there. Either way, if you're absolutely craving pizza and are willing to accept a pseudo-form of it, then go here. Otherwise, go get yourself some escargot elsewhere! read more

TOURIST TRAP!!! Meal was okay. Nothing special. Burrata was flavorless. Pesto linguine was fine. They serve you sautéed vegetables (carrots, zucchini, mushrooms) in the beginning as a starter without asking if you want it but they end up charging you for it. The owner seems friendly but he's just trying to rip you off. The windows have multiple credit card stickers on them, giving you the impression that they take credit cards. When our bill came, the same "friendly" owner said he did not take credit cards and had no credit card machine. When we told him that we had no euros on us seeing as we had just come straight from the airport, his whole demeanor changed and he became very nasty. All of a sudden he started yelling, forgot how to speak English apparently, and became impatient. But also, magically a credit card machine came out. He tried to make it seem after 2 seconds of swiping the credit card begrudgingly that it wasn't working, but it actually went through which he wasn't happy about it. Come to find out by our hotel staff that every restaurant in Paris is mandated to have a working credit card machine. Thus, he's just a fake nasty Parisian trying to swindle tourists.
