The service was amazing. For a fast food restaurant they are super hospitable. They even deliver the food to our tables and maintain a very clean seating area. The chicken was crispy and made fresh. The parking lot has plenty of spots. Only issue is the Costco traffic on the weekends. Recommend coming on a weekday or later in the evening. We cam on a Saturday during lunch time. Turning left is a little troublesome.other than that food and service was amazing. We will try the family bucket next time.

Big G Combo... 6 fingers, fries, toast, cole slaw. Big enough to feed two.

I loved the fries and tre sauce! If you are expecting Canes... go to Canes- (also wondering if Canes got the idea from here.... .). This is very fresh! Lighter-breaded chicken fingers. I'd come back.

Went back to this place today. I was impressed this time. It was fresh and delicious.

Wanted to like Guthries but greasy chicken, limp fry's and an aftertaste that would not go away make me want to go to other chicken finger purveyors. Went thru drive through, ordered 6 finger meal with fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and a coke for a little over $18.00. Asked for crispy fries, waited for order. Got limp soggy fries. Oh and the Texas toast looked good but was lacking and pretty flavorless. Can't comment on ambiance but most likely not going back when there are so many other places to get good chicken and fry's .

If you are craving chicken tenders then Guthrie's will not disappoint. I ordered the 4 piece combo to go. The tenders and fries were as expected. The dipping sauce was good. The unsweetened iced tea was standard. Staff was friendly. I would recommend Guthrie's.

Stopped into the new Guthrie's during opening weekend. Great new addition to Carson City. Very similar to Raising Canes. We ordered inside and waited for our food. Wait was not too bad and it was very busy. Two four finger combos and the sandwich combo was about $40. None of those came with slaw which I didn't realize until after I ordered. The toast is way better than Canes. SO much butter! Fries are a little less good, but still great. The tenders are on par with Canes but better seasoned. The sauce is almost exactly the same. Overall, great food and hits the chicken tender craving just right. My only complaint was the unsweet iced tea. Something was very off about it. Very chemical-ish flavor. The inside is nicely decorated and the outside has a decent amount of parking. It is near the Costco and they also plan to add in a car wash, so I can see this area becoming very congested. Great new addition to CC! Will be back and likely part of the regular eating out rotation!

The service was great! We ate inside and they brought my kids crayons and a coloring page. The food smelled and tasted amazing and fresh. The gal that was packaging everything even gave us some small rice c treats which my kids love. We will be coming back!

Okay, let's set the record straight: Guthrie's WALKED so that Cane's could run. That's right--if you think Guthrie's is "like Raising Cane's," you've got it backwards. Guthrie's came first, and honestly? They're still the superior chicken strip spot by a landslide. I stopped by the Carson location (local love ), and I'm officially a fan for life. First off--the chicken fingers? Juicy, tender, lightly breaded to golden perfection. They taste way more natural and less "mass-produced" than what you get from Cane's. You can tell these are real-deal chicken strips, not those rubbery mystery tenders you've tried elsewhere. And THE SAUCE. I don't even have the words. Guthrie's sauce is like Cane's, but leveled up. Creamier, tangier, more flavorful. Their crinkle fries? Hot and crispy. The toast? Thick, buttery, and grilled just right. The coleslaw? Fresh and crunchy (and I usually skip slaw, but not here). Everything hits. Bonus points for great prices--better value than their more-famous competitor--and the staff is super friendly. You feel like they actually care, and they'll remember you if you come back (which you will, trust me). Bottom line: Guthrie's is the OG The food is better The price is right It's local You're sleeping on it if you haven't tried it Support local, get amazing food, and let Guthrie's show you how chicken fingers are REALLY done. Carson's got a gem- don't miss it!!

We were excited to try Guthrie's because we are big fans of Raising Cane's. We ordered the special they had - 12 tenders, 2 fries, 2 toasts, and 2 drinks. We were the only car in the drive thru but there was a bit of a wait. The tenders were incredibly dry, overcooked, and borderline burnt. The fries are meh, no seasoning (maybe even no salt??). The toast is good. The sweet tea was great! They need to figure out their chicken situation especially considering that is all they serve. Will not return.

Way better than raising canes. Would definitely come back. This chicken has way more flavor.

The chicken fingers were top notch. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The dipping sauce was superb and had a lot of flavor. The chicken seemed like it was marinated and was super juicy. In my opinion I would say way better than raising canes. Im surprise this place isn't busy. Their chicken would be selling like hot cakes.

Food was really good - better than Raising Cane's. Fries were good, chicken wasn't greasy like similar places in Carson City. Service was great for the first day - refills were no problem, sweet tea was really good.

Smallest tenders and portions for any of the chicken tender places. Half the size of Big Chicken and $13 for 3 micro tenders. 2 oz maybe.

You don't go to Panera to get phenomenal fresh baked pastries or top-tier food. But you can rely on a fairly tasty menu and consistently good coffee, tea, and other beverages. My biggest issue: the price. It's expensive here. Small portions and high prices. At least if you dine in, you can refill your beverage at their wonderfully stocked beverage bar. My latest visit included a coffee, a cinnamon crunch bagel, and a muffin top. The muffin top was over baked and kind of bland tasting, even with chocolate chips. The cinnamon crunch bagel was great and my kiddo devoured it, but I ordered it non-toasted and they toasted it anyway. Coffee- great as always. A few varieties to choose from. I did half blonde roast and half decaf. Very tasty. Hot and fresh. I do like that this location has lots of seating, is open and spacious with lots of windows, and offers a patio. I enjoy walking to this location and enjoying coffee on the patio. Dependable. Not phenomenal, but dependable.

When I didn't get a response at first, I clarified that I was happy to pay for them. To my surprise, I was charged $15 for four empty paper coffee cups. I've never experienced anything like that before. The breakfast was fine, but that charge definitely left a lasting impression. Won't be visiting this Panera location anytime soon.
