What my husband and I received is absolutely pitiful. We received nuggets and were missing fingers and sauces. We also called the store and explained this situation, and unfortunately they claimed the manager is not in, and that they could not do anything for us. P.S. I used to work at Raising Cane's, so I definitely understand that chicken can literally be delivered in small pieces. I feel like we hit the jackpot in the trifecta of chicken restaurants on the corner of Greeno Rd. and Fairhope Ave. We've done one of the other 2 chicken restaurants on the corner. So glad we moved across the street! Perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy fried chicken tenders. Fries were old time crinkle cut. Homemade Guthrie's sauce and homemade ranch were both perfect accoutrement for the juicy tenders. So glad we found the best opportunity to support local business in Fairhope. read more

Came here after my doctor's appointment today and was pleasantly surprised they had brought back the pita. I love this pita and am so glad that you can get it with grilled chicken! The girl taken our order behind the counter was friendly and our food came out within a few minutes hot and delicious. Today they had Santa Clause playing with Tim Allen which was nice, they usually have sports. We will return. read more

In the area for work and couldn't resist stopping by. This location was clean and staff was friendly and responsive. Being that the chicken tenders are king here, I chose that with fried and extra Guthrie's signature sauce. Everything was hit and fresh and exceeded my expectations. Absolutely the rudest young lady I've seen in awhile. When my husband and I drove to the window after ordering, her back was to the window leaning on it for about 30-40 seconds while we sat there. Very friendly workers. The food was hot and fresh! The coleslaw was even tasty and a little sweet. The dining room was clean and neat. There were TVs on the wall to watch while we waited for our food. The restroom is only for one person at a time so prepare to wait if it is a full day for them. I will definitely visit again. The service today was really bad, the lady taking my order looked like she had a rough day. they normally let me swap a slaw for an extra sauce with the box but that is now an up charge which is one of the reasons why I am mad today. As of last week a snack box does not come with a toast. So if you want a toast that is an up charge. I don't know if you can tell but my fingers were so hot that they melted the styrofoam container as well. The place was fairly clean and food came quick however. read more

I used to Iike to eat here until I came today on a Sunday and saw that they were filling the sauce cups out on the counter where they take money. I saw people reaching over the cups and taking my money over the filled, uncovered cups. I was pretty grossed out that they would leave the sauce cups sitting out on the county to fill 50 or so cups at a time and leave the sauce exposed. It seems really unsanitary. We were there eating about 30min so I know most of the cups were left on the counter for at least 30min in the open air and without refrigeration. I won't be able to eat here anymore knowing this is possible that my sauce has sat open on the front counter without being refrigerated for 30min or more. read more

Food is always on point and service is good with a friendly staff. Typically the food takes longer than other fast food establishments but there is a sign clearly stating that they cook every meal to order. I've never had any issues with going here except gaining weight from their delicious fried chicken! We'll be back for sure and hope the service continues to shine! read more

Went to dine in at Guthrie's today and while eating, discovered a dead fly in my food! Totally nauseated at the sight! Talked to the manager and he offered to make my order over again...didn't even offer a refund after I spent almost forty dollars! I did not feel respected or valued as a customer by the way the situation was handled. The workers apologized repeatedly, but the manager obviously does not value ALL of his customers. I called earlier in the day on Sat. Dec. 23rd, for an order of 25 tenders and (3) 20 oz containers of sauce. The woman who took my order was very nice. I told her that I would pick it up in the drive thru at 3:00 pm. I arrived exactly at that time and told the drive thru person that I was here to pick up my order. There was only one truck in front of me, sitting at the window. I sat in line behind this truck for 10 min, knowing that my food was ready and getting cold. No one attempted to ask the driver to pull up and wait for his food, so I could get mine which was just sitting there. After almost 15 min. I parked, and went in to get my order. It was cold and soggy by then. They did not have my sauces ready, and it took 2 people asking me 3x what I wanted, to finally get it. No one there seemed to care one bit that this had happened....and as this went on inside, the truck was still sitting at the window. I paid over $30 for the tenders and over $16 for the sauces. Almost $50 and it was cold and inedible. I rushed back home to meet my guests, and was still fuming. It totally ruined the party. This is pure incompetence. I will not be back. read more
