When I heard that a big rainstorm was coming this week, I put out a request; Fredy replied within minutes and gave his availability. He had his crew out within an hour to thoroughly clean the gutters. They also took the time to clean up all the gunk that came out. His crew is friendly, courteous, and does it all for a good price. We had a springtail infestation that started after the first rain of the season and we hadn't cleaned our gutters in 2 years which was most likely the culprit. I called Fredy at 445pm on a Thurs evening asking for 24 hour emergency service, he texted me back right away with a price and 8am schedule the next morning. Fredy and 1 helper came out on time, got the job done in ~45 mins and even cleaned our solar panels and cleared the leaves from our front yard at no extra cost. Fredy's team showed up right on time and worked hard until the job was done. They removed our old gutter guards that were broken and ineffective, cleaned out the gutters, then installed new metal gutter shields that let the water in but nothing else. I called Fredy this morning when I noticed that my rain gutters were completely full of leaves and twigs. He sent his brother out at noon (TODAY) to clean them. Not only was he a very nice young man but he did an amazing on my gutters and cleaned everything around my house afterwards. I just love Fredy's style . . . he works very hard and very fast . . . he's just a dynamo! And I don't need to check his work; he always does what needs to be done. This is the fifth year I've hired him to clean the gutters; he was over an hour late, which is very unusual for him, and it's the day before a major storm is coming through, so I'm guessing he was just super busy today. I can't say enough good things about this firm and the work they did. I was in immediate need for the gutter cleaning due to the recent rainstorms and they were available within 3 hours of my call. I had contacted half a dozen companies and their pricing was amongst the cheapest ones I received. They showed up on time, did a detailed inspection and explained where the biggest issue was. Fredy came by my house at 9:20, when our appt was for 10:00. No big deal, but I was still in my pj's playing with my daughter on our day off. When I opened the door, I apologized for my late reply, and he argued back that we actually wanted him to come at 8:00. I said but we actually made the appt for 10:00, and that I would be out in a minute. He snapped, "fine!" I closed the door to put on my shoes and sweatshirt, came back out to find him burning rubber out of my driveway. I called to him confused, but he ignored me and raced away down our street. This was such strange behavior, as well as unprofessional. Not sure if he was having a bad day, but I wouldn't want to deal with him again given his unstableness and temper. Our conversation maybe lasted 2 minutes, and he became so angry. I would suggest using caution if you're going to hire this guy. There's a reason why he's cheap. read more

Fredy is fantastic. One day turnaround to give me an estimate after inspection the roof. He explained in detail what needs to be done with the tiles, took pictures before the work and what needs to be done sealing the gutter corner joint. My HOA hired Fredy Moran and his crew to repair, sand, prime and paint 121 mailbox posts. This was a big project! Fredy was prompt with responses. His crew worked hard, really hard. We are so very pleased and impressed with the professionalism from each of his team members. They had to dig through big tree roots, around irrigation, and break up the existing concrete to repair some of the steel posts. It was back breaking work. I had gutter cleaning service done by Fredy recently. His crew used a blower to clean the roof and made a huge mess in my garden. Then he blow leaves around the garden instead of gathering them and trash them. They broke my flower pot, broke my succulents. They are expensive. If they do good service, I don't mind paying the price. The roof is clean but my garden was mess. I had to call my gardener to do extra service done. I will never Fredy again! read more

He offered to come by to quote the project a few hours later (this was on a Saturday). He then completed the work on Monday. The quality of the work was outstanding. Those past Yelp reviews are not kidding. Fredy Moran is the real deal, as advertised. He is based near the border of Mountain View and Palo Alto. I contacted him about a small urgent irrigation repair, and a less urgent, but overdue, rain gutter cleaning and sealing. He was able to come on short notice, took care of both jobs immediately, and also located and patched a troublesome small roof leak. He came equipped with specialized gutter-cleaning equipment and helpers, who tidied up everything after their whirlwind of activity (the rain-gutter maintenance took around 90 minutes all-told). Fredy didn't even charge me for the two incidental repairs, just his very reasonable fee for the rain-gutter work, but I paid him something extra anyway. I will certainly use Fredy's services again. The bill statement advertises also painting, fencing, and landscaping services. This firm is a valuable resource worth knowing about! read more

Freddy is a man of few words, does the job well, and charges affordable rates. I called on a Friday morning about a broken sprinkler head. He said he'd be at my home Saturday at 4:00, text him the address. He came by Saturday afternoon, I showed him the pop-up sprinkler head that my dog managed to mangle, biting a hole into the plastic tube. Freddy went to OSH, picked up the correct part, return and proceeded to fix it in minutes. He charged $30. A job well done, I'll call him again. read more

Showed up on time, were very neat, did a thorough job, sent videos of each item to be cleaned, showing the progress and result. They brought tool to patch and repair and tighten up gutter parts. He was prompt for the estimate and offered to come do the gutter cleaning the next day (Saturday). That wouldn't work for me, so he agreed to come on Monday. He was prompt on Monday (he was actually 5 minutes early!) and they worked for four hours cleaning my gutters. Team does good work, but improvements to overall service and customer orientation would make them even better. Thorough and quick cleaning but didn't reinstall our hose properly and more importantly, arrived over an hour late due without notification or apology until I followed up directly by call 2x, yelp, text and voicemail. Also weren't initially planning to give any kind of compensation for the inconvenience saying that the customers should understand that delays are inevitable because they want to do a good job for all. They eventually begrudgingly gave a 10% discount still without admission of fault. Fair? Delays in schedule are inevitable, in this case a prior job was more complicated than expected, but that burden shouldn't be borne by other customers even if they want to do a good job for all. A better approach would be to improve planning, not make excuses and make each customer know that their time is as valuable as that of this company's. read more

I used him about 2 years ago to clean the gutters at another house. Back then, he responded to my inquiry within minutes, and with his crew did a pretty good job of cleaning the gutters and downspouts. He was also friendly and cooperative. So with the gutters and downspouts needing to be cleaned at my house, he was the first guy I thought of. I sent him an email. No response. Over the next few days, more email, but no response. Finally, I called him. Fredy's english isn't very good, which is why I sent email. When I spoke to him, he was able to identify that I'd sent him those emails. I asked when he thought he could stop by, and he said he was pretty busy. He was kind of grumpy about it, which surprised me. When I told him I'm open to almost any time during the week, he said OK, that's better, send me your address (which I had already done). So I did that again, telling him to give me a day of advance notice as to when he would be here, and some idea of what time he would arrive. Nothing for 2 days. On the third day, the doorbell rings. Surprise! There's his crew, ready to go to work. No notice whatever, no email, voicemail, phone call or text. Nada. Not good #1, but we need to get the job done, so they start working. I expected Fredy himself would be there as he was the first time, but he wasn't. They were pretty rough on my roof, and did some damage. Not good #2. As part of their standard service, they put some downspout screens in, but the screens didn't cover all sides of the openings, as I found out after they left, so I had to fashion a solution myself. One downspout wasn't covered at all. In fact, they left the screen for it just sitting on the roof! Probably most people wouldn't have looked, expecting they did it right. Not good #3. And I noticed they completely missed cleaning the debris in one section. While I'm installing that downspout screen, I'll have to do that, too. Not good #4. And since I already had ladders and tools around my house, they decided to use them without asking me, even though they very clearly had their own on their truck. Not good #5. My ladders and tools were a muddy mess at the end, which they didn't clean before leaving, or put back where they found them. They broke a piece of one ladder as well. Not good #6. The areas that they said they sealed still leak. Not good #7. And unlike the first time I had them over, they were not friendly or communicative during the process. Not good #8. Barely 45 minutes and $250 later, they were gone. Unfortunately, things seem to have changed, and for the worse. It's a shame, but after this experience, I wouldn't use Fredy again. read more

I contacted Fredy via Yelp on a Friday morning in January, with ran expected on Sunday, and his team was scheduled for Saturday at 10am. They arrived on time and got to work right away. I'd been having an issue with water leaking into my roof due to a poorly designed gutter. While they were up on the roof, they gave me some options on how to fix the problem, and within no time at all, they had fixed the gutter and completed the rest of the work. Since then we have had plenty of rain and everything is working perfectly. I'd definitely recommend Fredy and team. read more
