As a triple D & G watcher, I jumped at the chance to order from Flavortown. I was scrolling Uber Eats and ordered the Cajun Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Parm-Eroni, Chocolate Whiskey Cake, Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Wings, and the Cheesecake Challenge. To begin, each pasta was horrible. Bland. The Cajun Chicken Alfredo tasted like cream. Straight milk. Not to mention it was dry as a desert and didn't have the slightest bit of Cajun. Flavortown serving dry and milky tasting Alfredo is no bueno! Now onto the Chicken Parm-Eroni, yuck. It was dry and the chicken was burnt. Each desert was good. The cake was tasty as was the cheesecake. The wings were good but did have a bottled sauce taste to them and were not fried crispy enough. I'm so disappointed because this food was expensive and sucked.

Just like any other restaurant they have their advantages and disadvantages. It is nice that they are so close to the south side where I live. This one is small, but has a decent seating area. The lady at the counter had a gutter punk style with pink hair in pig tails, nose ring, t-shirt and camouflage pants. I liked her style, but she wasn't very friendly. There was no unsweetened tea so I asked for a cup of water, a request which she ignored. You will get your pizza, just don't expect any water. I guess you just have to die of thirst. I ordered a slice of white pizza with spinach/onions and a magherita slice. The crust is light, airy, crispy and nicely cooked. The only thing was I had to hold it up, or else the toppings would have flopped right off. The flavor is pretty good for both slices. I kind of wish they had more ricotta on the white pizza. I think there was less cheese on the slices, but as a result there was a lot less oil coming from the slices. Even when I looked at my plate I could see no oil stain remnants that you typically always get from most pizza. There was a definite char on one of the slices. I don't exactly love it to be charred really, but it didn't make the pizza taste horrible. Badamos is a good and unique restaurant. It is worth going at least once, or twice. Maybe bring some water with you, so you don't choke. I might have more to write a bit later when I have tried some more menu items. Cheers, have a great week,

Great location next to a lot of other small shops and convenient street parking. The pizza was fresh out of the oven and I also bought some day-old bread for home. The Coca-Cola comes in glass bottles here made with real sugar. The walls are decorated with old family photos from Italy. And the service behind the counter was really nice. Next time I'm in the area, I would certainly go again.

If so, you should be ashamed of yourselves. The shell tasted like a store bought brand and the topping were minimal to say the least. It also took nearly 30 minutes for one taco and there was only one guy ahead of us and two other people waiting and to be honest their orders took just as long as ours. Not acceptable! The vibe at the festival last year was great and yeah some of the lines were long, but they were all moving exceptionally fast except this one. The workers seemed very confused and overwhelmed. Yeah, the taco was fairly good, but the wait time for one taco was beyond frustrating. I hope if they are there again today at the festival they are serving better quality crumbles, better quality tortilla shells and more plentiful toppings.

I liked the fact that…read moreit is local and there would not be as much packaging as the other plans I have used in the past, which arrived via UPS in large boxes with ice packs and thermal linings. This is what I like about Chip and Kale: Food is delicious. Ingredients seem fresh and the opposite of processed food. Price is reasonable and less per serving than other plans I have tried. No ongoing subscription. Food kits arrive frozen which gives me flexibility of what to make and when. The directions are simple and very clear. Even the ingredients are numbered. Minimal packaging. I have been washing and will reuse most of the ziplock bags. I will probably keep two of the totes for personal use and return the others to Chip and Kale. Stand alone deserts offered. Apple strudel looks delicious.
