Such a cute pizza shop with seating available. I have a dairy and egg allergen and read that they had vegan options available. I was greeted when I walked in & explained that I wanted to insure the crust, cheese, and sauce was vegan because that would avoid the allergies I had but the toppings could be normal. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, It was delicious! When it was brought to the table the person made sure I was handed the correct pizza and let me know precautions were taken. Thank you for being soo caring and nice to prepare my order correctly, I would highly recommend. Not to mention sometimes the flavors aren't the best but I honestly couldn't tell the difference with the allergen friendly ingredients. It was the best pizza I've had in awhile. -The Pizza sauce does have a sweeter taste but I think paired with a savory topping it went well.

Tried Giovanni's again tonight .. this time chicken parm family meal! Again - delicious!! I would love to know what salad dressings they use ... the Italian and balsamic make all the salad go bye bye!!!!

fresh thin pizza. Review based on take out. Employees were super friendly. They had cheese pizza available for "by the slice" take out. It wasn't fresh by any means but it was still yummy. Their food looked great, looking forward to ordering fresh slices next time. Also rumor on the street is that they deliver beer if you pay with card... win!

Confession time - it's a minor miracle if I don't dig into my take-out gluten free spinach feta pizza before hitting the first traffic light. The aroma alone is incredible. Other varieties I've tried have been good as well. Best of all I can eat their gluten free pizza without worries because Giovanni's is careful about cross-contamination. My brother-in-law grabbed a slice of my pizza without knowing it was gluten free and loved it. Downfall - opposite end of town for me. I guess I will have to start visiting my "southern friends" more often.

Used to have the best pizza anywhere. They changed the dough, and all the pretty brown bubbles on that former amazing crust is gone. What a bummer. I'm going to have to find a new pizza place unless they go back to the good dough!

Great gluten free food. Plenty to eat. They also know off the top of their heads what allergens are in their foods.

Maybe a grilled chicken sub wasn't their specialty. The bread was so thick and rock hard you could break your teeth on it.

Staff are all so nice and very helpful in explaining everything if it's your first time there. You order first, then sit at your table (you can keep an open tab to order more food or drinks when you want), and they'll give you your table number. Food comes out pretty quickly and they're attentive in removing empty plate plates just as fast. Quite tasty! As meat eaters, we really appreciated this vegan twist! The pierogi's are an excellent choice for perhaps the less adventurous- yet does not disappoint! The stuffed cabbage was really yummy! And we enjoyed our appetizer- cucumber and radish salad with rye. It made me like radishes again! Simple and fresh ingredients, make for a tasty dinner. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic vibe in there as well, cool lighting (although something from up above kept falling). It's a highly acclaimed place for a reason. I got to try their beet soup (borscht), tea, potato pancake, and rice pudding dessert. The menu changes decently consistently I believe, and I did visit a little while ago, for notice. The food was very tasty. Huge potato pancake that was cooked perfectly with a nice topping of what I can only describe as vegan sour cream and some sort of very flavorful vegetables. I quite liked it, surprisingly tasty and creamy topping. Now the borscht, which I tend to be picky with, was just okay. The number one detractor for the borscht was the salt level. The food is just far, far too salty (the pancake was pretty salty too). Other than that, quite good. Love the side of rye. The dessert was very good. Surprisingly light. Came with a little caramelized baked fruit on top (apple/pear, something like that). Rice was reasonably creamy and very flavorful. So good! All in all, a nice spot for a nice dinner. Especially great for vegans. However, the food did taste too salty for my liking.

I placed an online lunch takeout order recently for a veggie burger with fries. Based on a special instruction I added to the order, the manager called to ask if I was vegan before they made the order since their bun and aioli have egg. Although I'm not, I was so appreciative of the effort they put in to make sure that the order fit my dietary needs! Also, the burger and fries were both cooked to perfection and so tasty. Highly recommend Butterjoint and their sister cafe, Sidecar!

Got to try their chicken sandwich and vinegar pie. The chicken sandwich came with a garlic sauce (toum) and fresh vegetables on their signature milk bread. Needless to say, the bun was amazing. The toum was great too, perfectly garlicky. And the chicken was delicious, with a solid portion. A bit on the expensive side though. The vinegar pie sounded super unique and intriguing so I gave that a shot. So glad I did! This is delicious. I can't even really describe it; there's a tiny note of acidity to it, but it's also super sweet. A nice little brown topping as well. It's just really good and you should try it. All in all, recommend this spot. The inside area we were sitting at was a little bleak but other than that, it is a nice place to be!
