As we walked the property trying to decide where to sit amongst the many choices (beach, dock, bar, adirondacks), I noticed a duo bringing in equipment. Adirondacks front and center of band stage was the only choice. Cold beer for me, frozen margarita with a floater for my lady. We settled in for some classic rock tunes ( Dead, Beatles, and some early 70's 1 hit wonders). Food truck grilled cheese perfection with enough crispy handcut fries the feed a family if five. Just a perfect Saturday! ...and a Mrs. Roper Pub Crawl at all 3 bars on the bay side (picture for illustration only as it was next door).

The sun was a bit lower in the sky but just over the trees and was beautiful to look at as we kayaked through the bay. If you're any bit of a nervous nelly there are boats that also come through the bay but they did tend to stay further away from us. The staff are quite friendly too. And there is a place right nearby called Coopers Bluff where we had went to grab a frozen drink after and watch the sunset. Overall a great time and great date night!
