This review is for Heather Caudell ONLY…read more I had my first 2 children naturally (no epidural and no pain medication), but I knew there had to be more help out there during the birthing process. There is!!! Heather Caudell is an AMAZING midwife who cares, explains things (like NO other health care provider I have come into contact with), and is an expert in midwifery! We had our 3rd naturally with Heather's help (could NOT have done it without her!). She did some midwifery tricks and coaching, without which, I don't know if I could've done it naturally. We recently had our 4th with Heather but due to concerns for our baby in utero and mommy, it was recommended we induce at 37 weeks. During birth, the baby wasn't tolerating the contractions, so we subsequently had to have a c-section with our 4th. Although not natural, we TRUST Heather's advice, expertise and intuition and we have a healthy baby. As crazy as it sounds, after the natural births, the c-section was still an amazing birth experience BECAUSE I trusted Heather's care and advice and it all proved to be trustworthy! I also didn't understand what a BIG part she would play in the operating room - she's professional, calming and does a lot of work in the OR. She has the mother's desires and baby's best interests in mind. She will walk you through every decision point with precision, tact, and information and allow you to decide the best course of action. My husband and I would recommend her to anyone.

I came here following Dr. Heather Bruce after she left BSW. She is an AMAZING OBGYN! She delivered…read moremy twins via c-section and my experience with her was phenomenal. Upon our first meeting she answered all of my questions in detail. One of my biggest concerns was the black maternal mortality rate. We talked about it in length and she explained what she was expecting of me during my pregnancy. During my pregnancy she constantly checked on me and was always open to listen to any concern I had. At this new office I haven't had any issue. I really like that they reach out to you well in advance to confirm appointments. If you are looking for an OBGYN please make sure to request her.

I've been coming here since 2009 and I have not had one complaint. The women and doctors here have…read morebeen great. I usually see Dr. Tovar and occasionally I see Mary Jane and they both have been great. They take the time to answer any questions I have have and always address my concerns about my health. April is a wondering nurse it's always a pleasure talking with her. She so down to earth and compassionate. I'm always greeted upon entering and the ladies in the front office are always pleasant and engaging. The office is always clean and neatly organized. Parking is never a problem so there is space. If labs are needed you can run upstairs on the second floor to get it done. The atmosphere is always laid back and quiet. Just thankful for my continued care and the great service they provide. I would recommend them to family and friends.

My review has nothing to do with Dr. Thomas Fliedner, but all with the front desk staff. Dr…read more Fliedner was fantastic, thorough and understanding. I originally had a procedure set up with him, but my insurance deemed him out of network. I called about two weeks prior to my surgery date to cancel, due to my insurance not accepting him as in network. I was forwarded to a nurse/assistant line where I left a voicemail with my contact info and requested a callback/cancel. Fast forward a few days and I received a text from the hospital where my procedure was supposed to be. Again, I call ten days prior to the surgery. A woman at the front desk sounded confused when I asked to confirm my surgery for august 11th was cancelled. She requested my name and number and advised she will call if she still sees it scheduled and if I don't hear from her, it was cancelled. No return call, assumed the surgery was cancelled. Fast forward to the day prior, I receive another text from the surgery facility. I text them that I have tried cancelling this TWICE with the doctors office. Now, day of, I received two calls from the facility and two from this office asking where I am/what happened. I am incredibly angry that I had called TWICE TO CANCEL but nobody could manage to relay the message. The negligence of the front desk has wasted the time of the facility, their staff, Dr. Fliedner and myself. I BEST not be charged due to the front office staffs inability to do their job.

I went for my 1st visit today and I was so BEYOND impressed with the entire clinic…read more I checked in, turned over my paperwork (that I was emailed and able to fill out ahead of time), and was handed a pager. The staff doesn't shout your name out when they're ready for you and I loved the privacy of that. Having everyone in the waiting room know your name has always bothered me a little. My buzzer went off and I walked to the door way and was greeted pleasantly! The nurse was informative and walked me through each step, making sure I didn't feel uncomfortable or lost. She was truly caring and asked great questions, took notes on my history, and was engaged. Holly Groom, the midwife, was my care physician and I was so thankful to have her! I have never had such a respectful exam in my life. She did what she needed to do with no judgment. Made sure I felt comfortable and didn't linger. I've never felt so at ease or respected. Thank you, Holly! I am also doing IVF treatments with my wife and our clinic is not local. They had 0 issues assisting me with the monitoring. IVF is such a stressful process and they were so accommodating with no hesitation. Really put me at ease and alleviated so much of my stress. I would 1000% recommend this clinic and Holly Groom - I'll be going back :)

Just to top off the unbelievably bad service they never turned in my wife's leave of absence paperwork, and she was fired from her job and had to get rehired. Luckily, they wanted her back but if it was up to this place a brand new mother would be now unemployed because of their incompetence. If you go there and have a bad experience, just know you were warned in advance. Stay away.
