I went for my 1st visit today and I was so BEYOND impressed with the entire clinic. I checked in, turned over my paperwork (that I was emailed and able to fill out ahead of time), and was handed a pager. The staff doesn't shout your name out when they're ready for you and I loved the privacy of that. Having everyone in the waiting room know your name has always bothered me a little. My buzzer went off and I walked to the door way and was greeted pleasantly! The nurse was informative and walked me through each step, making sure I didn't feel uncomfortable or lost. She was truly caring and asked great questions, took notes on my history, and was engaged. Holly Groom, the midwife, was my care physician and I was so thankful to have her! I have never had such a respectful exam in my life. She did what she needed to do with no judgment. Made sure I felt comfortable and didn't linger. I've never felt so at ease or respected. Thank you, Holly! I am also doing IVF treatments with my wife and our clinic is not local. They had 0 issues assisting me with the monitoring. IVF is such a stressful process and they were so accommodating with no hesitation. Really put me at ease and alleviated so much of my stress. What an unbelievably incompetent organization. The midwife that saw my wife was fantastic and was paired with the most unpleasant and impossible office staff. Just to top off the unbelievably bad service they never turned in my wife's leave of absence paperwork, and she was fired from her job and had to get rehired. Luckily, they wanted her back but if it was up to this place a brand new mother would be now unemployed because of their incompetence. If you go there and have a bad experience, just know you were warned in advance. Stay away. read more

I have high risk pregnancies. I am currently pregnant and had to wait 4 weeks to get an apt with Monday. By the time my apt would be here I was going to be 11 weeks. Well today was my apt. I got a call this morning because they had to cancel. They can't get me in until mid-July. I will be almost 15+ weeks by this point. And they don't do an ultrasound at first apt. They said it is only for paperwork. So, I have no idea when I would even be checked at this point. I have had 3 miscarriages, and I gave birth to my son at 33 weeks. The office did not care. I canceled and now I have to get a new referral to find someone else. read more

I've been going to this doctor since I first moved to Denton in 2021. I can say with all honesty that they used to be great and I do still love my doctor. She was always attentive and comforting when I needed anything. I was admitted to the ER in December and told to schedule a follow up with my doctor and have been unable to get an appointment since. I call at different times of the day different days of the week and am always unable to get through. With not even the option to leave a voicemail I am sick of not being able to schedule an appointment. I will be finding a new doctor and hopefully they can figure out how to answer the phone to transfer my medical records. I've had rude interactions with receptionists in the past here but always looked past it because I really liked the doctor, but it's honestly not enough to keep trying. After seeing the yelp rating for this doctors office, I now understand why Loretta (at this office) was not phased when I informed her that I would be giving this office a negative review. Dr. Popov did not provide me with all the options to test for uterine cancer. Fortunately for me I had an early appointment with the PA who advised me that a D and C would be the best procedure to rule out or find cancer. The uncaringness of Dr. Popov should not have surprised me because like many that have left reviews, I found it difficult to get anyone on the phone to make an appointment. When I did manager to get someone I could not get in quickly if it were an emergency. It seems this office treats women like cattle and not individuals in need of care and concern. To top it all off Loretta was very condescending and did not provide all the details about the facility cost for the procedure I had schedule. Run, (don't walk) away from this doctor's office. Getting ahold of them is absolutely impossible without sitting on hold for an hour and you still might not get to them. They do not care how many times youve called and texted patient portal they will still make you wait 24 hours after you call to make an appointment even if its not safe to wait specifically because youve been waiting days to ahold of them . I am currently experiencing non stop spotting, by indication from the emergency hospital I needed to be checked by my ob for my level of HCG in 48 hrs. That was last week wednesday the 23 and today is the 29. i am still not sure if my pregnancy is still going and i wont be able to find out until my appointment which is a MONTH from now. I had an appointment with Dr. Popov for 3 pm today. Not only was this appointment scheduled for 3, but I received a text message the day before confirming the 3 pm time (see below). The office told me that they would send paperwork to my email, but never did, despite following up. I arrived at 2:55 for my appointment, and the doctor refused to see me - they claimed my appointment was at 2:45 pm. I could not be seen "out of consideration for other patients." Reception staff were totally apathetic to the situation. THANK GOODNESS I was just scheduled for a check-up. I can easily switch to a doctor who gives a shit. I actually scrapped the running draft of my experiences- was getting too long. So this review will be a quick recap, mainly designed to advise you on how to proceed- skipping the details and benefit of the doubt, possibly a little light on patience. I didn't choose this location but was referred by my PCP. The jist is this office is terribly disorganized and nobody talks to each other or cares about what's getting done. There is no apology for waiting over an hour, they won't answer the phones and there's a lot of blaming going around the front office. Instead of depending on the front desk at check in to give you information, you better just ask the following: do they want you to pay at the beginning (there was so much conflicting and somewhat bitchy commentary on this, so it may even depend on the type of visit or the dr- just go ahead and bring it up), do they want a urine sample (even if you ask where the restroom is, the receptionist won't inform you, you have to ask) and have they set up a patient portal for you (I didn't ask this and I STILL don't have access to one with my test results after weeks of calls, so do this one on your first visit). I promise you that they will not answer the phone. There are two caveats to this, but the other departments will not answer or return calls. If you leave a message for Annette in insurance, you will get a call back, but billing seems to be about a month or so behind at this time. The only way you will be charged accurately is to call her before your appointment. She's very nice. If you press 5 for the 'all other questions' section, they typically do answer the phone but usually any help they provide is outside of their job description. Audrey tried to help me on several occasions because transferring me to triage or up front resulted in no answer and no returned call EVER. It's ridiculous. Some of the lines, like for medical questions tell you to leave only one message or to use the patient portal. Supposedly you can use the portal if someone set it up correctly, but I have no idea, see above. The first visit is 9 pages of forms that will probably take 30 minutes to fill out and they have to scan it in before you see the MA or the doctor. I was told to arrive a few minutes early, luckily I arrived 25 min early. Add 8-10 min to that just to get checked in as the unfriendly, but not really rude, front staff sits in silence not explaining what they are doing before or during the time they are helping you. You will be seen on time if you need an ultrasound, sonogram, etc. but not to see the doctor. I arrived at 3:50pm for a 4:15pm appointment the first time and didn't see Dr. Reaves until 4:55pm and she rushed the appointment, pointedly looked at the clock the whole time- as if she had been waiting on ME. When you are told to get a test before the next appointment, that doesn't mean they will see you after the test even though everyone in the building says they will. My second appointment was at 2:30pm, I was back in the waiting room at 2:41pm but the doctor didn't see me for another 57 minutes after that! Then I had to wait in her exam room while they figured out they didn't request all the right tests from the lab and couldn't seem to find everything. More ridiculous. Another note, when they tell you to get tests, YOU better ask all the right questions- can you eat, can you drink water, etc. They told me my bladder wasn't full enough for the ultrasound and I had to get it vaginally instead. What kind of staff doesn't give you proper instructions before tests they order? This one, that's who. It's up to you, don't give them too much credit, ok? They are not open on weekends and they close at 2pm on Fridays, so they may give you orders that involve going to a lab other than theirs- read every line! They left the diagnosis code off the report which in most cases would have stuck me with a huge bill that can't go to insurance without that info. It's been weeks and nobody has confirmed this is done. I'm serious, if you aren't a pitbull with these people, you will be out some serious cash. I read a review about someone getting billed a bunch of extra money for a birth control consult they didn't consent to- it's true. The doctor tried to bring it up twice. The first time made sense but I told her I would discuss that with my PCP. The second time was an unnecessary money grab I had to firmly curtail. You know, I have to sometimes wait to see my PCP 45-60 min, but she always spends as much time as needed with me. I may have to follow up with her staff to make sure they are billing right or I get my prescriptions, but they answer the damn phone. If anything, coming to Caring for Women where you'll be treated like a number makes me appreciate my PCP more. I won't tell you not to go here because it may not be your choice and you may get the answers you need. What I am telling you is be prepared and don't trust them to get it right. read more

I give this place a negative star. I am beyond pissed off. I went to this clinic for my well women's visit which was covered 100% by my insurance. A month later I got a bill and I called the billing inquiring on what I was being charged for. They told me that they would contact the office and get details. I asked the document in my account that I made the phone call and expressed my concern about making sure that this balance would not go to collections since I was disputing it. I was told by each person every month that I followed up (Feb-Apr 2024)) that I would not have to worry about being turned into collections because I was in the process of disputing this claim. 4/23/24 I spoke to Courtney the clinic manager in the Denton office and explained my situation. She called me back and left me a detailed voicemail telling me that they were completely writing off the $60 charge this voicemail also converted into a text message so I proof not only in verbal voice message, but also in writing then So today I get home and there's a collection notice for the $60 balance that I was told was written off. I am livid and will take the necessary steps to report them to my insurance company as well as other agency. This is unacceptable. read more

This has to be one of the worst OB clinics I've been to. I was referred by my PCP and I will never refer anyone back here. The communication between Dr, assistants, and lab tech are pretty much non existence. It was recommended that I take a pill they schedule a follow-up requesting to have a discussion about the pill based on lab results that was taking incorrectly. i'm happy i keep up with my own information because i would've been taking a pill that was not needed. She also has obviously taken some generous handouts (bribes) from certain drug companies and will try to push those drugs exclusively. I had a terrible experience with this office since my appointment in November of 2023. I paid my bill and thought I was done until my next annual appt. I received an outstanding balance from LabCorp in March of 2024 saying I owed $312 for a test I had no idea was performed. It's the end of July and I'm still working out this issue. No one answers the main line. If you leave a voicemail no one calls you back. I was eventually referred to Courtney. Courtney assured me she was working with their LabCorp representative to change the coding so my bill would be more reasonable. No response to how the test was performed without my consent but was trying to reduce the amount of my bill. However once I asked for any paperwork from my appointment for me to review, she stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. After getting no updates from Courtney, I ran across the phone number of the practice manager, Whitney, through Google reviews. once I explained my situation to her, she assured me she would handle it. It's been 2 weeks and I have not received any contact from the office, but just received yet another notice from labcorp letting me know I have an outstanding balance of $312- so the amount has not been adjusted, and the fact that a test was performed and a sample was sent off to labcorp without my consent, has not been addressed. This is extremely frustrating and I have been more than patient for eight months now. Would not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

Amazing office. I have been seeing Dr Valenti for 13 yrs, he has been there through 2 pregnancies. I developed pre-eclampsia with my 12 yr old and ended up being induced early. I was informed the entire time of what was going on, why, and her delivery was fabulous. With my 9 yr old, I had an emergency c-section due to a uterine rupture, separated placenta, and bladder ripped in half. Thanks to Dr Finger (called the section, and pulled out my baby) and Dr Valenti who performed all the insane surgery and hysterectomy to put me back together, my baby and I are 100% off. I have gone here for my mammograms, excellent staff. I am having a surgery next week with Dr Valenti. My oldest daughter is expecting her first, and she is now at this office. Sadly Dr Valenti is not delivering babies now, but she will be seeing Dr Finger. I would recommend this office to anyone. read more

Went to the ER a month ago and was told to follow up with an OBGYN regarding an ovarian cyst. I followed up with this office 4 weeks ago today. They came highly recommended. I drove from Richardson to what I thought was "the best" I am STILL waiting on labs. When I showed Dr. Valenti my list of symptoms while in his office after he learned I was not going to be a surgery he said there is no way he can help me with That kind of a list with as long as it -so he offered to do lab work. I'm waiting on labs to take with me to the endocrinologist because apparently the Dr was absent the day they taught about the different organs and how they are all connected especially during the time of the month. Go elsewhere especially if you don't have insurance. Will update when I finally get the labs, if they even really sent them 09/13/18 update. Never have I ever experienced such neglect at an office. First they call with my blood results, they started by saying I was type o. Luckily I know my blood type and was able to correct them keeping them for reading me someone else's results. If I had not corrected them I would not have been told that I need to pick up a prescription I actually needed. Second I thought it was weird when I give blood on 10-7-19 for genetic testing when they had no requisition form and had me sign a blank piece of paper. I was told I would have the results in 8-10 days. By my next appointment on the 10-16-19 the results still were not in. After call multiple times asking why the results took so long the office had the lab call me on 11-01-19. My results were inconclusive. I asked the lab when they got my sample they stated 10-18-19 and the information the provided by Don't Caring for Women states the blood was drawn in 10-17-19 tens days after it was actually drawn. This is called falsifying documents!!!!!! The office didn't have the decency to inform me they forgot to send my blood and ask for a new sample but sent an old sample (who knows if it was mine) and act like it was the labs fault I was waiting for results. Shame on you!!!! If you can't be trusted the blood samples, can you trust them with your baby?!? My answer is NOoo Update just received a bill from Not Caring for Women for $355 because they aren't to able file insurance claims correctly. I called to tell them how to fix this and had to deal with another asshole who could only say I'm in scheduling. You are the idiots who still have "press 5 for billing" on your calling system. You can't do blood correctly, you can't do billing and you can't setup your calling system correctly! Close your doors before you kill patients. I have been going here for 3 months for prenatal care. They do not have anyone that will answer the phone with medical questions, no one returned two messages at different times with their medical triage team -at all. They direct you, for faster service, to use their web portal but that also does not elicit responses for days. They also have screwed up my prescriptions and have had to call me to reschedule my appointments twice because they "couldn't find anyone to find time to see me". At one time I called the office and was greeted to a general message that said they had a staff shortage due to the flu and "leaving multiple messages for us will not get a quicker response from us." The two different midwives I eventually saw were nice, and they seemed to handle taking my payments VERY well. But other than that, this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor's office. I have no idea how they manage to keep any patients. read more

First off let me start my saying I have been coming to this office for about a year (my whole pregnancy, my daughter is now almost 4 months). The office is very unorganized and NEVER answer the phones but the doctors are typically nice. But yesterday was the WORST experience of my life. I cried in my car for an hour. I came in for my appointment and did the usual Covid screening paperwork and check ins with the (new) receptionist. I went to sit down and then could literally hear the older receptionist telling the newer one that she shouldn't have even scheduled me and was saying things like "I don't know why she even bothered to come in", and "she always cancels or reschedules her appointments", and was quite literally talking shit about me RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. The two proceeded to basically gossip about me. Little did they know that the reason I cancelled/rescheduled appointments was because my daughter was fighting for her life in the NICU and my mother was on life support at John's Hopkins. My husband also was not living with me at the time and I had no support. Her best excuse was "that information wasn't in my chart" So what? That doesn't make it okay to talk about me right in front of me. And that DOES NOT make it okay to deny me medical care. I left the office in tears. It's already hard enough for me to come to the hospital where I had a traumatic birth. I still deal with PTSD from my daughter's birth and NICU journey and every time I even see that hospital I almost have a panic attack. It took everything in me to even walk into that office. No medical professional should be acting the way that woman did. I will definitely be filing a formal complaint with the hospital. read more

My doctor that I had was more concerned with telling me to get on a diet immediately that I'm way too overweight and schooling me that I need to get a vaccination then talking about the reasons I went to the gynecologist in the first place. I'm 215 pounds and I've been trying to lose weight and I've been struggling with this, of course it bothers me. But to be told you need to lose weight and you're uneducated you need to get vaccinated are two things that I don't pay to come to this office for. If I could give it less than one star, I would. While I generally liked Dr. Popov, the staff in the office have no concept of a good patient experience. On my first visit, I was there for two hours because of the wait time and subsequent check out time. Everytime I call, I get voice mail and I rarely get a call back. I have to call multiple times for the same issue. I end up demanding to speak to a live person and still, get no help. First they have test results, and then they don't. And even though it is extremely time sensitive, I have now been waiting almost 2 months for a test result. I can not recommend this medical group to anyone, and I certainly will not be going back. Because of all of the problems, I recently cancelled my appointment. I cited the office inefficiencies as my reason for cancelling. They actually called me back within 1 hour to reschedule. I have a reason to go into a GYN office more frequently than I would like. I recently moved and found CFW through my insurance, and I am so glad I made the choice to try them out, although I was a little worried about the mixed reviews. I have been going her for the past 1 year+ and I have seen 2 of the doctors, a nurse practitioner, and even one of their midwives who had to cover for the doctor once. The front office might seem a bit strange, yes. Overall, I have had a great experience. They are knowledgeable and seem to have good record keeping because I felt each person I saw knew about me already. I have recommended them to my coworkers who have also said positive things so yes, I do recommend CFW Frisco and Denton (those are the two that I have visited). read more

Was told that to run specific tests would be covered by my insurance, found out 5 months later when I was served a collection letter for $190 that it WAS NOT covered by my insurance. Was never called from office to let me know that this information was false. Was also told to come in for an additional test, when I showed up for my appointment, they had neglected to tell me it would cost $200 up front for the procedure. I do not carry that sort of money around with me, so ended up wasting my time to take off from work for no reason at all, since I was unable to pay for the procedure. read more

I do not know how this practice has such a low review..... let me tell you about myself first. I have had 6 miscarriages, my husband was in the military for 8 years of our marriage and we have had Dr.s all over for prior pregnancies including here in Texas for the 6th. None of them even came close to providing the care this office did. I just completed my pregnancy this past Wednesday which is my 7th pregnancy. Holly Groom is a midwife here there are not words for how amazing and knowledgeable mixed with the best bedside manner you could possibly ask for. She means the world to me and my family including our miracle baby. It literally brings me to tears as I have had truly horrible experiences elsewhere and this is what I needed. Moving on to Dr. Finger, again the best bedside manner around. I am first to admit when it comes to anxiety and overthinking I am up with the worst of them. This amazing woman can calm anyone because she talked me through an epic anxiety attack leading up to the delivery. I did deliver early which was expected from the beginning so as you can imagine fearing for my babies health was a major dark cloud suffocating me with their support I made it through, our baby is healthy and our next journey is under way. She deserves an award. I don't know what awards there are for Dr.s but if there is one she deserves it. I am big on speaking out about care in regards to miscarriage and loss and working toward starting a foundation to assist families going through this so if I thought any different than the words that I put here, they would not be here. I recommend this power team to anyone wether it be your first or second etc pregnancy or if you have dealt with loss like my husband and I. Oh and P.S. the whole office supports your journey and cheers you on. 10 years 6 miscarriages, now total 7 pregnancies new provider every time and this is the only office I would ever recommend. read more

Hadn't gotten my yearly in almost a decade, so I was very nervous. As I'm newly married I'm looking to family plan as well. From the waiting room to the exam room, I was pleased with the way everything looked. Nurse was very professional. Wait time was a little high but expected from any doctors office. My NP made me feel safe and calmed my nerves about the procedure. She took the time to find a good birth control that won't interact negatively with what I'm already taking. We love this place!! My wife is a patient at the Flower Mound office. We have had the pleasure of being seen by EVERYONE at the office. If a business is going to use an action as their title, i.e.,"Caring for Women", they better deliver. This group of physicians, especially Dr. Rachel Osborne, have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND in the care for my wife, Paola. We are so grateful for all of the attention and guidance that we have received, from early pregnancy all the way to postpartum, and beyond. We couldn't ask for a finer group of people and recommended this group (especially the Flower Mound office) to all women. Compared to our first pregnancy, they are in a league of their own.
