Joel does excellent work. The whole process from start to finish was excellent. I hired painters to paint the inside of my house. They also did a few drywall patches/repairs. My house was built in the late 70's and has crow's foot texture on the walls, which is very difficult to match. The painter's patches looked terrible and did not blend in with the rest of the wall at all. Joel came over and explained what was needed to make the walls look right. He said he could match the texture. When he came to do the work, he and his helper masked off everything. He was very neat and clean. He put on a skim coat, then matched the texture expertly. The patched areas completely disappeared. When he was done, he cleaned up very well. He clearly respected my home. Aside from an expert at drywall, he is also a very nice person. He did excellent work, and got it done timely, and his price was fair. I already have him scheduled to come out and do another drywall repair for me. highly recommend Joel Guzman of Guzman Painting. We had a large gash in our family room ceiling after our roof leaked. the damage was within a tray ceiling area. We assumed that meant the sheetrock in that area would need to be replaced. That would involve removing and replacing crown molding and praying it could all be reused. Joel said he did not need to remove any sheetrock or molding. He just scraped, taped, retextured and repainted just that area. He protected all furniture, floor, and wall surfaced Even knowing where to look, we can't tell where he patched. The retexturing is perfect. All of this for a remarkably affordable price. read more
