Dr. Thomas is thorough and will spend time with you. The office staff is friendly and accommodating as well. Very pleased.

Dr. G. Nguena and his staff are examples of kind, respectful and very helpful group of people. They are very professional, but also show their humanity and kindness when I am not feeling my best. The Office Manager Smita is friendly and very helpful. The nurse who handled my triage was nice as well. Doctors are only as good as their front office. This receptionist did my a disservice on this day. I advised her before my visit that there was an update to my insurance. During my visit the doctor looked at my paperwork and stated to me that there was a mistake listed....my insurance company. After my doctors visit , the doctor and I BOTH went up front and advised the receptionist that the insurance provider listed is incorrect. She then stated that she had changed it and everything was fine. Months later I get bills from a lab company requesting funds because she did not in fact change my insurance provider. This lead to me having to take tht right time to link my new insurance company with the lab in order to pay for my services before they sent me to collections. Never again........ I'm sorry because the Doctor was pretty good with her service. read more

I am a patient at the Gwinnett Clinic-Peachtree Corners office, and I see both Dr. Rachel Shah as well as Dr. Jincy Thomas. Both providers have been absolutely wonderful. Their bedside manners is of excellence as I felt very comfortable with some of my most vulnerable medical needs being in their hands. Shelby in the front office is wonderful. She is very warm and welcoming as well as very attentive to patient needs. Madalina is a wonderful, very caring nurse at this location well. You must know what you're getting yourself into when you commit to going to a clinic for primary care. This location in particular has two doctors and a nurse practitioner that rotate in and out throughout the week and they make appointments but if a walk-in patient comes in right before you, they will take the walk-in first despite your appointment. It is important to me that a doctor listen to his/her patient's problems and really try to help. Unfortunately, after three visits (and some ill-advised and very expensive tests later) I am giving up on this doctor's office. No patient should ever be treated as a waste of time. Pros: -convenient for those working in the many office parks in the area -open after 5 pm -easy no-appointment-needed walk-in-ability -physicals & blood work done in-office Cons: -Lack of professionalism and basic human compassion Perhaps this is the place for you, but it certainly was not for me. read more

It is Monday and I thought since I was sick over the weekend I would go in and get checked out, to be on the safe side. The receptionist continued to call me at least 4 times, rather than get my information all at the same time. I ended up having to get up and down several times while I waited for my appointment to begin. When people don't feel great, they like to just handle everything at one time. This is just the beginning. I had an apt set for 2:30 and they did not get me in to see the Dr. until 3:00. Only 2 other patients that I saw in the lobby. One before me and one who came in after me. Ok...that does not seem like a long wait. But hey there is more... They gave me a notice to sign that said I got a copy of the privacy policy. When I signed and asked for it, they said it was in a notebook in the lobby. That just didn't seem like what they were required to do. I guess if they handed me the form and told me that it was in the lobby, that would make more sense but I if I sign something saying you are going to give me a copy, should you give me a copy? -This is not as big a deal cause we all know those privacy policies are blast to read anyway. Finally I give a urine sample and they have no paper towels in the restroom and the trash can is on the opposite side of the bathroom. I told them about the paper towels and the trash can and they said that the trash can was too big to put closer to where you may need it. Ever consider a smaller trash can? Some things you need to put in the trash can ASAP people. Where else you gonna put it if you are across the room? The last straw...The Dr. who was very kind, said I must have a virus but I will get you an antibiotic just in case. I got the script and was on my way...this was the kicker, cause I left, got back to my office and just parked and got a call from the Dr. office to ask me if I wanted to be tested for the flu? What? Can't you ask me when I am there? I opted out. Time to find a new Dr. read more

Ting is the absolute worst receptionist known to mankind. She has the worst communication skills and is unable to answer basic questions or troubleshoot basic situations. Because of this reason, I highly recommend avoiding this clinic. read more

This is the worst office I have been to. I made an appointment as a new patient for 9:30 a.m. and by 11:00 a.m. I still did not get to see a doctor. When I asked the staff why there was a delay, they only told me that they were really "busy" that day. When I talked to the receptionist I received the same answer that they were really "busy". I was then told that because I was a new patient it took her time to enter my information into the system. I asked her how that effects the wait time and she said it doesn't...it's just that they were really "busy". I tried this location because it was very close to my home, but now I know better than to just look for convenience. Do NOT go here unless you have no other options. read more

This office was terrible. I was going to pick them for primary care doctor with new insurance plan. First thing they wanted was 100 bucks even though i had insurance. Doc walked in and looked at me and said she could not help me...i needed a specialist and would refund my money which they never did...had to argue with the receptionist the next day to get my money back by threat of going to insurance company and bank to dispute the bogus charge. They are crooks in my opinion. The front desk person was rude and told me i did not need to come back after i insisted on my refund...they dont have to ever worry about me coming back....awful. read the reviews and beware. read more

Scam. I had some lab work done and paid my co pay. I called about my results days later and was told to come in for them. I scheduled the earliest appointment I could for them. I get there and was told I needed to pay again to receive my results ! Like what ? I asked the receptionist like wait so I took a test and have to pay for the results ? That literally makes ZERO sense to me. The receptionists response was rude. She said yes because if the results were normal you wouldn't but they're not. And said that if they just gave me the results I wouldn't understand them. First of all ma'am you don't know me or my life or my medical terminology competency . When I got the results (after paying another co pay) I was shocked that THIS was what I was getting. The results I was given was something I could've been given over the phone. Like seriously ! They have you do a whole waiver saying you agree or allow the company to send you sensitive information through email. So why couldn't these results be given especially since it wasn't anything life threatening ? Seriously a rip off and I will be fighting to get my money back. Also there seems to be no communication because not only did the nurse ask why I was there , the doctor did as well! He said why are you here ? I said for my results. He said what did they tell you ? (Who is they ?) I said they didn't tell me anything ! They told me to come and get my results. Smh. I want my money back. This is a scam in my opinion read more

I moved to georgia in jan 2019 I needed a family/general practitioner for various medications ie. blood pressure....I got an appointment for the next day Dr Nguena took a comprehensive physical, talked to me for about 15 minutes about other concerns I had including finding specialists He recommended other doctors connected with Gwinnett Clinic and they were all fantastic. Smita the receptionist is absoultely wonderful she remembers you after you visit once, fits you in for an emergency appointment ( you can also walk in but calling for an appointment gets you in faster) The nurses are very professional, can take blood, give ekgs as wells as regular bp/weight. My insurance covers everything in all the clinics and Smita can make your appointment for you for any of the other specialized doctors you might need at the other locations. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Nguena for a general practitioner read more

The worst doctors office I've ever been too. Believe the reviews because I found out the hard way. This place is a waste of time and they try to get over on patients.
