On 7.3.26, the physician assistant prescribed Cefdinir which is a cousin to Cephalexin which was on my allergy list that I printed out and discussed with them. This caused extreme hives 3 days later. When I went on Google that these drugs are related. I even told the woman that I had allergies to Ceftin type drugs. Returned on 7.7.26, and the nurse said, "Oh my God! You look a lot worse!" The new employee tried to prescribe hydrocortisone which I'm allergic to. And when I said Prednisone helped in the past with allergies, she could care less. Today on my bank account I see a charge for $120 from Peachtree Immediate Care. I will contest this with my bank. I am in the process of writing a demand letter that this immediate care facility reimburse me for the Kaiser Permanent visit and the meds for the week that they ruined my life. Every time I called the facility, no one was available. The only reason I went to this scummy place was because Kaiser was closed on July 3rd. Now Peachtree Immediate Care is destroying me financially in a matter of days. I will visit my bank tonight on the way home to contest this charge. No warning either. The only reason I returned to them on 7.7.26 was to let them know that they were involved in medical malpractice and what could they do for me? When I went to Kaiser on 7.10.26, I had to pay $203 for visit and the purchase of Epi-Pens, Prednisone, and Hyrdoxyzine (sp?). What a freakin' nightmare July was due to them. Do not go to this urgent care! No one greets you and they don't care if you are there or not. And there is no point of making an appointment. You need to wait hours and hours after you get there. On top of that, they don't know how to bill your insurance properly. read more

I was in a situation where I could not get into a dentist office for an emergency visit for like a week. My primary care doctor couldn't see me for about the same time frame. So, they recommended I come here. Called and they advised I could come on now, they didn't have anyone waiting. The young lady at the receptionist desk was wonderful and sweet. I waited about 25 minutes. Both the intake nurse and the nurse practitioner were nice and efficient. I was able to get antibiotics I needed. That would help so when I finally see the dentist the infection will be on its way to being healed. read more

My experience making the appointment and service at the front desk was adequate. I'm not a complainer and am sensitive to the fact that customer service has suffered since the pandemic so I give people a lot of slack. I was there because I needed to go help my brother (who is fighting cancer) so I wanted to make sure my cold symptoms were not covid or some other issue that could endanger my immune-compromised brother. My medical care was great - the nurse who took my vitals, and Hannah who actually performed the tests, were outstanding. The problem is the QR code they gave me to scan so I could get the results never worked. I learned during the visit that I was not positive for Covid, but all of the other results were supposed to be available the next day via a scan, but they weren't. I called the office and they said wait another day, so I did. After that, I revisited the site of the URL daily for weeks, and left many phone messages and a couple of emails but never heard back.. Today I got the bill for that treatment. I understand mistakes happen regarding the URL for the test results, but there is no excuse for not getting back to me. I will ultimately pay the bill so they don't ding my credit rating, but it will leave a very bad taste in my mouth. -- I've now updated this review from 2 to 3 stars. The business owner reached out to me (after I copied my Yelp review to their website) and has resolved the billing issue. I'll still not get the test results, but at least they've taken care of what they can. read more

Please do not waste your time here. I do not even want to give rating for this urgent care. The worker did not even introduce herself and blew up my vein twice, and they weren't able to get it done. The staff was very unprofessional, and I can't pay $$$ for the service they provided me. I even had a typo in my address. Because of this incident, I am afraid to go to urgent care now. Any time I've come after 7:30 due to schedule reasons, or just being too weak to actually make it in before that.. they've lied and said they are dealing with an emergency and one of their systems is down.. not realizing you're using same lie to same person more than once.. I will not attempt to be seen here again..if your open until 8, then patients should be able to walk in up until 8.. if not, make a disclosure that there is a cut off time, or change your hours.. don't lie.. just say, I can't take you, I'd like to go home, or whatever.. don't lie.. I will never attempt to be seen here or any other facility with the same name, customer service, professionalism, and honesty is key, and essential, I definitely don't want you responsible for treating me, if you have no integrity. Called 12 times today between 3pm and 6pm, no answer. Came in person at 6:15pm, in need of a prescription refill. Online it said walk in time 36min. "Provider" wouldn't see me and told the receptionist to tell me they don't refill prescriptions (which is an outright lie. It even says when you call them, press 3 for prescription refills). The "provider" is just collecting a check from Emory and seeing how long they can ride it out not seeing any patients before they get fired. Just die before you give these people a dime. read more

My GF & I went to get our urine tests for rotations. There was an hour wait which was fine since it was around lunch time. The receptionist was rude. My GF & I walked in the office to hand in my form for the test & realize I forgot my ID so I walked back out to my car to get it. When I walked back, I was told that she had given my GF an earful about how they had the right to not take me in because I walked out BEFORE even handing her my ID or filling out any paperworks. How was she going to even check me in or identify me first without my ID? The person who performed the examination was extremely nice though & saved this from being 1 star. Nonetheless it was irritating that a simple urine test spoiled our experience here. Won't be coming back for anything else in the future. read more

Getting someone on the phone here is impossible. The doctor wrote the script wrong and I had to go back to the Urgent Care to get a new script. The pharmacy said it was impossible getting in touch with the clinic. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. read more

I have been living in this community for 20 plus years. They have change owners a few times plus their name. There service has always remain the same outstanding. I had an emergency visit yesterday and starting from the customer service desk to eventually seeing the doctor was extremely awesome. Always delightful and cleanliness is awesome. Praise God they are there since I don't drive as well as they still except my insurance. Even if you don't have insurance their fee is $175 which I feel is not bad since ER cost have sky rocked. My daughter had a 2:48 covid test appointment when she arrived no one was at the desk . When the person did come to the desk she never looked at the signup sheet and continued to talk on her phone. My daughter ask twice after waiting an hour how much longer would it be , now intestering when u have appt in drive thru it doesn't take this long but she waited over 2 hours. The office was so rude . My daughter left. They called her after she had left and continued to be rude and hung up on her. Folks if you dont want to be in customer service then dont. This is the worst urgent care in America. As a healthcare provider, I know and understand the struggle to provide care in time. However, this business has no regard for adequate nor punctual care. I waited 2 hours for a TB test that was scheduled in advance. As I waited, people with injuries were rejected care due to the wait time. I understand urgent care is a first come first serve, but you cannot serve people in general if you do not provide care. Nothing immediate about it. Called to ask about the wait time for walk-ins and was advised to make an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait long. Still ended up waiting for two hours to be seen only to be given an incorrect diagnosis. When asked how did the doctor arrive at that diagnosis she didn't have any answers but informed me my x-rays would be sent off to a radiologist for confirmation. Upon leaving the office emailed me the x-ray results for another patient, which was red flag number 2. I called to follow two days later and they still didn't have a response, so I just decided to get my results elsewhere as the staff at this location seem uninterested in helping people. read more

Came down with a sinus infection and drove all the way up to Duluth to get treated there. I've been going there for almost 20 years and was always provided with great care. Last summer, it came to an end! A tech came in and asked questions while she wrote down the answers I gave her. When she came to take my blood pressure, she had me hold my arm outstretched to my side with the palm up. I'm 56 and I have never had anyone take my BP this way. My BP was 174 over 100 plus. I've never had BP that high and was certain it was due to this non-standard process. So I wasn't worried about it. A few minutes later a Nurse Practitioner came in and asked what was going on with my BP? I told her I wasn't worried about it right then. I just wanted them to take care of my sinus infection and the infection in my eye. I'd forgotten to take my medication that morning, but I was going to take it as soon as I got home! She responded with a lot of commentary about her boards and professional responsibility, etc. and then proceeded to shove her stethoscope under the blood pressure cuff and tore my skin! Of course I yelled "ouch" and then demanded she remove the cuff as I looked at the red area and torn skin. It began to bleed. I grabbed my things and then left. I had just lost my dad a month before this and by then, I knew bad medical practice when I saw it. I wasn't taking any more risks with this crew! I called and someone called me back and informed me that I would be hearing from someone else a little higher up to get the particulars about my visit. I never heard from them. After my primary care physician retired in 1999, I came down with a sinus infection so I visited Physicians' Immediate Med in Duluth, GA for treatment. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and took such great care of me, I decided to use them as my primary care provider. Dr. Tablan is a true gem and the staff, from Najat and Mona in reception to the talented nurses and lab girls truly make going to see a doctor a pleasant experience. Even when you are feeling bad, Najat will put a smile on your face and make you laugh to ease the pain. Dr. Tablan, unlike most doctors, will take the time to listen to you, figure out what is wrong and treat you based upon her findings and never gives you the "take two aspirin and call me in the morning" approach. She even follows up to make sure you are doing ok, a practice that no other doctor I have ever seen does. Physicians' Immediate Med even has an on-site lab and x-ray so they can diagnose many problems right in the office before you go. I would recommend Physician's Immediate Med to anyone who needs to see a doctor and would challenge them to find another practice that cares as much as they do! read more

This was my second time at this location, the care is fine but the billing department is very very sluggish. I was seen on Dec 13th- they had my card on file. I never got a bill or estimate until Jan 1, the email stated it would come out of my account in seven days - just posted today on the 11th. I'm very disappointed with my visit to this location. I realize that it's an urgent care and there's going to be a long wait which I anticipated. However I waited an hour and 40 minutes before I was finally placed in a room. I wasn't asked the reason for my visit in the waiting room and it seemed like the main concern was if I could secure payment. They got my credit card number and insurance card before they really got my name. The nurse who took me to the room was very abrupt, distant, and disconnected. She rushed through several questions and cut me off when I attempted to tell her what was going on with me. She literally was walking out of the door while I was talking. I sat in the room for another 30 minutes before the NP came in. She was slightly more pleasant but again it was rushed. She was probably in the room for about less than five minutes and then left. Again I sat in the room waiting and didn't even know that I was done with the visit until I heard the nurse calling in my prescription from outside the door, which I'm sure other patients also heard her too. I work in healthcare, specifically business health care in regards to compliance and HIPAA on a daily basis. There were some clear lines of possible breach of information in that situation. Anyhow at that point the nurse cracked the door told me that I was good to go and placed my paperwork on the counter. She didn't even bother to walk all the way into the room to explain what medications I was going to be taking or the prognosis of my visit. I picked up my paperwork and walked myself out of the room. It wasn't until I got into my car and read my own paperwork that I even found out what was going on with me. This place has poor "bedside" or "office side" matter. I had such a horrible experience here. Went in for pain in my foot-to the point it hurt to walk. They saw me, asked my symptoms and told me they ruled out a few things. Had me do x-rays, but never bothered to read them. Said the radiologist would and call me tomorrow. The doctor said it looks like a stress fracture. Their solution was maybe to use crutches, Advil, and follow up with a specialist. This was on a Monday. I am glad I followed up with a specialist!! They told me it was not a fracture and gave me the correct diagnosis!! Fast forward to today. I just got a phone call saying that my X-rays came back and they are normal-this is 6 DAYS later!!! The only reason they called is because I filled out the survey stating I was not diagnosed correctly and no one ever contacted me. If it was a fracture, they would have allowed me to walk around on it and never would have called me. To me, it is completely irresponsible! read more

I had an eye issue and since the urgent care's site says that it handles eye issues (infections, pink eye and styes), I decided to go to this urgent care -- what they call "immediate care" instead of the emergency room. Two long hours (and 15 mins.) of waiting later and I finally saw the nurse practitioner who -- within 20 seconds of giving me an "exam" -- told me to go to the ER. This group does not -- repeat does not -- do triage. In other words, nobody is on staff who can tell you within the first half hour, "Hey, we don't do what you have, you'll need to go to the ER." Nope, they just let you sit, and wait and wait and wait. To expect that an urgent care (sorry, "immediate care") will do triage is absolutely a standard they should be meeting. A toddler who is not breathing well should not "wait" for two hours while someone with a splinter is seen first. That's what triage is. I worked at a Suicide Prevention Center many years ago who taught us triage. I would be very cautious about using this immediate care. If you end up needing to go to the ER, they'll let you know that, charge your credit card -- and now you've just lost your co-pay money and the time that you took waiting and waiting and waiting. Emory should care about it's brand more than to link up with such a shoddy office. read more

They are certainly just there for the money. Nothing more nothing less. Initially, I loved the PA who came in because he seemed caring but EVERYTHING went downhill from there. I bought my Mom in because she was having a quite an episode with the flu. However, since this was her fourth episode this year; I decided to take her to see a Physician. Again waste of money because he also addressed her current situation. Ignored the fact that it's reoccurring and left the room stating he would give her a breathing treatment because it was share for her to breath. We sat for another 45mins just waiting... we waited that long because I kept denying to Mom that they had forgotten us; I mean there was only one more patient there! Finally, I gave in and peeked out asking what was next the MA (medical assistant) said you can go home! I was like go home?!! We haven't had the breathing treatment or the X-rays! The PA pipes up and says "oh sorry I forgot to tell them!" I was perfectly fine with the apology but then we were "forgotten" again because he never came in to discuss the results of the strep throat culture, X-rays or gave her her work excuse and medication! At this point we just gave up and went out to the lobby to ask the receptionist for a work excuse; she asked me if the doctor didn't give us one and I wanted to say "Duh?!!" But I said "no, he didn't even come in again after the first time and neither did he explain what he thought was going on". She said "ok" with no apology or empathy (though it was clear that I was upset) and wrote the excuse! Arrived at about 6:30 and left at about a little past 9 with only one other patient there and a receptionist, LPN, MA and a PA. So good luck if there are more than two patients or they are short staffed! read more

I've been here a few times in the past for sports injuries as well as bringing my son up here a couple of times. I had no problems with those visits and was satisfied with the care my son and I received. I started coming here regularly after I discovered my previous PCP at another practice cared nothing about her patients and literally telling my pharmacist not to call her back after I needed an emergency prescription for a nebulizer machine. Originally I thought this was just an urgent care center, but after checking with my insurance and verifying with the office staff over the phone, I discovered that this office can serve as a PCP as well. Unlike many other doctor's offices, the reception staff here is wonderful. They are always friendly and seem to enjoy working there. My most recent visit was with Dr. Tablan and she is a wonderful doctor. She actually listens to patients concerns, and always has time to answer questions which is a stark contrast to many other doctors that don't seem to want to take time with patients and only want to rush them out the door so they can get to the next patient and do the same thing to them. I came here because I was having many problems breathing and the specialist I saw prior to coming here wasn't much help at all. Dr. Tablan on the other hand took time with me asking pertinent questions related to my asthma and ended up prescribing me new temporary medications that tremendously helped my condition and I finally see myself improving for the first time in 4 months. Yesterday she called me back in the office to inform me that a medication I have been using for quite a while is known to cause heart problems in some people. I too noticed my heart beating very hard and rapidly unexpectedly throughout the day but never made the connection between it and my medication I was on. She suggested I try a different medication to eliminate that risk and only go back to the original medication if the new medication was not effective. I really appreciated this and never before has a doctor done this for me. read more

Receptionist was nice, doctors and nurses were also nice. and also efficient as far as their bedside manner, and diagnosed me for what I thought I had. LOVE LOVE LOVE the staff at PIM. Dr. Tablan is hands down the best and the nurses and Najet (at the front desk) are personable, professional and absolutely amazing. Najet greets everyone with a smile and remembers everyone's name. She is quick checking you in and gives you very honest wait times so you know if things are a bit busy that day. Najet is also really good with people who are not very nice. I have seen her handle all sorts of patients and even the grouchy ones can't help but be won over by her infectious smile. Najet is really a treasure that I hope they keep around for a long time. I always looks forward to calling and hearing her voice or seeing her at the desk. Instantly you feel better. As for the wait, they do take walk ins so sometimes its busy but I have never had to wait for very long. During the week, Dr. Tablan runs the show (I usually only go during the week) and she runs a really great office. Dr. Tablan is detailed, she is thorough and she never misses anything. She takes the time to really listen and she does not rush you or cut you off. Even just meeting with her for a consultation regarding my health, she is thoughtful and responsive and I feel that she gave me a 100% honest answer to my questions and concerns. And not to forget the nursing staff, talk about a great group of ladies! Getting shots or blood drawn is no fun but they are quick and as painless as those things can be. I have never had them "dig" for a vein for blood and they can give you a shot faster than you can say "ouch" and come to think of it, I have never had to say "ouch" .Even when they are really busy, the ladies never hesitate to smile or to say "hi" and I have never heard or seen any of them be anything but sweet and professional. My entire family goes for everything from head colds to sprained feet and I would NOT go anywhere else. read more

They prescribed me some horrible medication that made me real sick then when I called to see if they could call me in another prescription in place of that they told me since it's been a week and a half then I would need to come in the be seen again. The morbid grey walls, the unpredictably long wait times, the 3-year old magazines and the company of the sickest and crankiest people in town. This place is different though. The receptionist is hilarious - cracking jokes about everyone and everything. The football game's on tv - triggering loud YEAAAS and NOOOOS. The wait time is super short - around 10 downs (or 5 minutes for the layperson).
