I had my unit broken into and when…read moreI went to let them know, Diana in the office acted like she was more concerned about leaving on time than helping me sort this out. Whoever broke into my unit broke my lock, stole all my stuff and then put another lock WITH A PUBLIC STORAGE STICKER back on the unit, to not raise suspicion I guess. But it seem slightly funny that the wrong lock had the right sticker on it. And the sticker is so they know it's a lock meant to be there, which you can only get from the office. Hmmmm SUSPECT. When I went to let them know something was wrong, Diana first told me that all she could do was "notate the account" that someone switched my lock. RED FLAG NUMBER 1! When I asked if there was any paper work to fill out she replied no and that all she could do was notate the account that I THINK someone switched my lock. RED FLAG NUMBER 2! Then when we did confirm that they didn't change the lock, she proceeds to tell me that they can't cut the existing lock off until NEXT MONTH because the lock guy only comes once a month. RED FLAG NUMBER 3! So then I tell her to get her manager on the phone who then proceeds to tell her that there IS paper work I need to fill out to get the lock cut. She then proceeds to say they can cut the lock off on Monday or Tuesday of the following week and that I need to go buy a new lock for it or they won't cut it off. So when I get there on Tuesday, there's a different lady there. I let her know what's going on and that BOTH locks were cut off and one of their locks was now currently on the unit. She proceeds to tell me that she can't let me into the unit until I purchase one of their locks. I explain that I believe someone has broken into the unit. She acted like this didn't phase her. She then tells me that it's their policy to not let me into the unit until I purchase one of their locks per the agreement for cutting the bad lock off. RED FLAG NUMBER 4! Now I've paid all my monthly premiums on time and I requested for the lock to be cut. Why would you not let me in when I told you to cut the lock off? RED FLAG NUMBER 5! I tell her to get her manager on the phone. She then points to the number and says you can call him. He then calls her back and says let me into the unit ONCE but then I need to purchase their lock. So of course I discover that all my stuff had been taken and I say "we need to call the police" This bitch says "YOU can call the police and file a report." WOW. Then when I ask about security cameras she says, "oh there's none on this row" RED FLAG NUMBER SIX! There is some shady shit going on at Public Storage. They were no help. Whatsoever. DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE!!!!

I replied that if they stopped me and gave me a fine, they would respond and he told me no. And just for telling them in an annoying tone that they should do their damn job, they reported me and now they don't want to rent me for expressing my feelings about the situation. It was better when workers with experience and desire to work took care of anything you needed and helped you. Now the young people, especially the manager, are very lazy people who cover what their teammates do.

    Literally the worst experience ever…read more Last year I used their services for the first time when I was moving. I rented a 15' truck which moves 1 Bedroom Home - 2 Bedroom Apartment. I paid about $30 plus mileage. First time experience was okay. Since I recently bought a house, I needed to move again. This time I also needed a 15' truck again. When we were almost done, and ready to make a payment the cashier told me I was unable to complete the transaction because I had a "pending payment". Last year when I was returning the truck I asked the cashier if I needed to make any extra payments, she checked and said I was good to go. Now, this guy is telling me that because I didn't pay $1 "environmental" fee from last year, I wasn't able to complete my transaction. But not only that, $1 fee turned into a $50 bill for "LATE PAYMENT". Seriously? I've would have totally paid the dollar if I was informed in first place, but I never was. The lady even said that after returning the truck you have 14 days to make that payment at no extra cost. I am so mad no one informed me before about this, being that part of their jobs. Not to mention everyone in this location is super rude, and try to rush everything. Never again. ESPAÑOL Literalmente, la peor experiencia de mi vida. El año pasado utilicé sus servicios por primera vez cuando me mudé. Alquilé un camión de 15 'que se muda a 1 Bedroom Home - 2 Bedroom Apartment. Pagué alrededor de $ 30 más millas. La primera experiencia fue buena. Como recientemente compré una casa, necesitaba mudarme nuevamente. Esta vez también necesitaba un camión de 15' nuevamente. Cuando ya casi habíamos terminado, y listos para hacer un pago, el cajero me dijo que no podía completar la transacción porque tenía un "pago pendiente". El año pasado, cuando devolví el camión, le pregunté al cajero si necesitaba hacer algún pago adicional, ella verificó y dijo que estaba listo para ir. Ahora, este tipo me está diciendo que debido a que no pagué una tarifa "ambiental" de $1 del año pasado, no pude completar mi transacción. Pero no solo eso, la tarifa de $1 se convirtió en una factura de $50 por "PAGO TARDÍO". ¿Es en serio? Habría pagado el dólar si hubiera sido informada en primer lugar, pero nunca me dijeron nada. La señora incluso dijo que después de devolver el camión tiene 14 días para hacer ese pago sin costo adicional. Estoy tan enojado que nadie me informó antes sobre esto, siendo esa parte de sus trabajos. Sin mencionar que todos en este lugar son súper groseros, e intentan apresurar todo. Nunca más.
