My daughter has been attending classes here since she was 3yo (now almost 8) To watch her progress has been amazing! Cannot recommend this place after witnessing the treatment of my 3 year old daughter. We signed up weeks in advance for a class time with a coach that our daughter had warmed up to, and minutes before class started we realized they switched coaches without even notifying us. Understandably, my daughter was upset because she is 3 years old and has separation/ social anxiety. To be clear, the younger coaches are very kind and patient and tried to encourage and support my daughter through her emotions. However, the owner Wendy walked into the class and immediately started barking at my daughter to close the door to where we were standing trying to encourage her. She then went on to verbally scold my daughter saying "IN OR OUT!" after my daughter ran to the door crying for me. A couple minutes after that, she grabbed my daughter's arm and pulled her out of the class. I confronted Wendy and told her she is being very insensitive and to not speak to my child like she did, which is unacceptable. She could care less and said she didn't do what I saw with my own eyes and tried to gaslight the situation. Immediately went to the desk and got a refund for the class. Not sure why they offer a class for 3 year olds if the owner has zero patience for common 3 year old behaviors. Cannot and will not recommend this place and my daughter will sadly not be going back after the treatment and bullying I witnessed. Not turning a blind eye to this one - Do better Wendy. read more

So happy I made the switch! we left our old gym after being there for 6+ years! She has been not only happier and comfortable in her element again, but the coaching is what I always wanted. We came for a friend's birthday party. The hosts were told that children under 4 could be on the floor as long as they were accompanied by a parent. I got there with my 3 children, including my very excited 2.5 year old who was ready to play. However, upon our arrival we were greeted by a very angry looking man who was apparently the owner. He told us very rudely that kids under 4 could not go out onto the floor at all, even with a parent. My child was left standing in the lobby screaming while he watched the other children getting to play. We ended up leaving the party because I wasn't going to torture my toddler for 2 hours. I suggest that your staff get on the same page and communicate rules and expectations more clearly. If Ii would have known that he wasn't able to participate, I would have left him at home. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

Don't bother with this place. it's a massive gym with a million kids in the classes. it's a cash grab, the coaches are just teenagers most of who don't look like they have much gymnastics experience and since all their help wanted signs say no gymnastics experience needed I would say that's accurate. the class was just my daughter and all the other little girls struggling to pull themselves up and over the uneven bar to do a flip on the bar with a coach helping them complete the rotation. each kid would go and the coach would flip them over the bar and then the next kid would go. no real coaching or assistance. just a teenager standing and flipping kids over a bar. my daughter learned nothing. we decided to try ninja and while my daughter enjoyed that much more it costs $200 every 2 months which is outrageous. then they charged me $30 for a single "Ninja Mission". when my wife got there to watch and record for me since I'm working they tell her shes not allowed to go back and watch and they tell her there's a TV to watch on but the TV was NOT working and they blamed a new router for that.....so we paid $30 for one hour of ninja because my daughter wanted us to see her and we can't. this place is just a cash grab, don't bother. read more

This a wonderful school of gymnastics. I love the coaches. They are professional as well as caring. This gym is 100plus % I wish I had started my granddaughter's career in gymnastics here when she was younger. She is improving on her skills as well as learning and becoming proficient in new skills. read more

This place only cares about your money. It's run like a racket, impossible to get a refund for any events, it's always somehow too late. Also, my daughter had been competing there for 7 years and needed to take a couple months off for knee pain, she was seeing a doctor for this. We told them in person that she would be back in June. When June came around they said sorry, we are full. Really? That's how you treat regular team members that have been the for years? Disgusting. read more

I really wanted to like this center. Most of the staff is great. Very patient, knowledgeable and attentive to the children. However, the woman that manages the center has been consistently rude. I've never had a positive interaction with her. I have witnessed her being rude to other parents and staff, and the same behavior is present whether you are in-person or on the phone. I tolerated her behavior because I genuinely think it is a quality center, but it is difficult to patronize any business that does not treat you like a valued customer. read more

I've had my daughter in tumbling at Gym Kinetics for a couple of years now. She likes it. All the coaches seem really nice and they have plenty of profressional equipment for all the different activities. Also, they have classes from beginner all the way to advanced, so there is a class for all skill levels. read more

Very disappointed with the instructor for the 3 year olds and the over all handling for their program for the 3 year olds. I would not recommend this place at all. The instructor has zero patience for toddlers and should not be an instructor. When my granddaughter cried because she was in a class by herself for the first time, she was escorted out of the room after just a few minutes, she was not given the proper amount of time to adjust. The instructor was rude and uncaring. We were told that the toddlers would be in their own room and that is not true, they are first crammed into a corner in their open, noisy and very congested gym with all ages. That enviorment is confusing for a toddlers first experience. We has since moved over to UGA and love it! read more

My daughter has been a gymnast here for 4 years. She started in classes and now is part of the competition team. Excellent coaches and staff. It can be very crowded and it can feel unorganized, but once you get the feel of the place and know where your child's class will be, it gets easier. We have been very pleased. read more

I have been bringing my daughter here for a year and a half now. She has participated in the baby gym and mom and mini classes, with Sam F. Sam is a wonderful instructor and her classes are well structured and fun. The mini obstacle courses, and trampolines, are her favorite part. Friendly staff and environment all around. read more

SO disappointed in this place!! Not in the activities, but in the people that work there. I have not been able to get my 6 yr old son to join an activity, so I called to ask if he could try a Ninja kid class. She was rude on the phone, but said "fine". I said that then I would sign him up, gave our name & the time of class that we wanted. He went to try it & loved it & it's all he talks about. Now I go there to pay & be sure he's officially signed up & she says "oh no, that class is all full & has been for weeks". She is the exact person I talked to that said he could try it out. I said "why would you let him try it out if it's not available for him to join??" She says "yah, I don't know but that's the way it is". Totally rude & inconsiderate. Doesn't even care that I have to now break my kids heart. I would NEVER have had him try a class that was not available for him to join. I would have found a different activity for him before I got his hopes up. I am so upset at the level of disrespect & lack of caring for the child! I guess they have plenty of business & don't actually have to "care" about the people. Not fair to the children at all. read more

They have the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I won a gift certificate from a charity auction and left a message and sent an email about the gift certificate and after two weeks I've gotten no response to either. I'm simply trying to ask a question about the gift certificate and they will not get back to me. I hope they actually care about what people feel about their business and change things so that others don't have the same experience I have with them. read more

We were at Gymkinetics for the 3 and 4 year old classes for two sessions. In that time, I never saw one staff member or coach smile. I mentioned it to other parents who said they noticed the same thing. Teachers of children should be enthusiastic and warm; instead, these people looked miserable. In addition, the place was a mess. The section where the young children had class looked like a big storage room with equipment not in use tossed to the side. We have switched to United Gymnastics Academy and the difference is extraordinary. The staff and coaches are friendly and enthusiastic, the gym is neat and clean, and the kids are learning so many more skills. read more

We moved, so I was looking for a facility where my kids could practice gymnastics and this is the only one in the area where my boys can join a team, if they sticks with the sport. The place is OK but looks a little dirty and needs some updating, new mattresses and spring floor covers. They lack good equipment and space for boys. Where my 5 year old was before he was already practicing small routines and should have start intermediate gymnastics when he turned 6 but here he is stock in the 5-6 age group and doing a lot less technical exercises. I feel that both of my boys are going back instead of getting better. Right now they have around 14 kids on pre-team, only one group and 2 coaches; when you add that to the small space and lack of equipment you can understand why the boys are not improving and just fooling around most of the time. Kids have fun and enjoy this place but it could be a lot better, specially when it comes to maintenance. I hope they improve when it comes to boys gymnastics or that another facility with better equipments for boys starts to offer service to the area. read more
