My son loved their Ninja class, I loved the facility, its location, and the staff, BUT the owner was, how can I put this nicely?? Let's just say she is NOT customer focused. AT ALL. She's got a "take it or leave it" attitude. I dealt with it for as long as I could bc my son loved it (the things one does for their child!) but I finally got to the point of "I don't need this aggravation in my life, especially for a service I am paying for", and so we left and found a new Gym that my son loves and who care about their customers. read more

My family has been attending Gymnastics Unlimited for a while now, and my children are always excited to go. The coaches are dedicated and caring, and it's clearly evident that they love what they do. My 6 year old has Coach Cam. She is exactly what I was looking for in a coach; gentle and kind but with a firmness that my daughter needs to help her focus. She physically helps the kids make sure they're doing everything correctly, to ensure they are safe and performing each step the right way. My 4 year old has Coach Kaelyn, who is the perfect coach for littles. She is sweet, patient, and provides a lot of feedback on my daughter's progress as well. I can tell my child is really learning in her class. We miss being greeted by Coach Courtney's smiling face every day! She made every child feel special, and somehow knew every single person by name. She truly cared about every single kid! I can't say enough nice things about the coaches there. I'm really happy with how much work they put in to make sure the kids are all learning to the best of their abilities, and I am grateful for everything they do. read more

Birthday parties review! I didn't see a review for the parties so I thought I'd leave one here. Just had my daughter's 7th bday party here and it exceeded my expectations. You only get 30 minutes to set up so I planned my party food, decorations, etc. with that in mind. But we arrived 15 minutes early and the two coaches/activity leaders were there and let us in. They had already set up the tables, helped me unload the car, helped set up the decorations, set out food, allowed us to put fruit in their fridge. The actual party time was great, with planned activities and fun free play. They timed everything, I didn't even have to think! They helped clean up after and took care of bagging up all the gifts for easy transport. They took care of all the trash and even helped us pack up our car! They were AMAZING! Lastly! I forgot a huge Mylar helium balloon and thought they had probably thrown it away. But they CALLED ME the following Monday to ask if I still wanted it. So thoughtful to have kept it for me! It was the best birthday party!! What a great venue and outstanding service! read more

Love gymnastics unlimited! I decided to start my daughter here when she was 3 because I had as a child gone here. I was hesitant at first because my daughter has severe anxiety and fears. She had taken a mommy and me at another facility and after giving it a good try it just wasn't for her: the coaches ignored her and her fears. We started with coach Aly at GU and she was amazing with my daughter. She took the time to pay personal attention to her and made her feel comfortable. After a few months due to scheduling we had to switch to coach Tricia. At first my daughter was timid and scared to have to start over with a new coach. But coach Tricia was so great with her! She has been really helpful with her overcoming a lot of fears and self doubt which she can take that confidence with her now outside of the gym. My daughter is now 4 and is moving up to the next class next week. Without Tricia she wouldn't be where she is today! She gets excited to show her friends and family what she learned. I'm so proud of her personal growth and I owe a lot of it to Tricia helping her learn to be strong and confident . Looking forward to starting my younger daughter ASAP! read more

WE ARE SHOCKED and so excited at the same time! Our girl has high functioning Autism. Verbally, she has progressed. Physically, we wanted to help her get started in a sport/activity that will benefit her and build her confidence more. Although our 5yo is shy and acts very timid in new environments, she loved being at GU today. As parents, we enjoyed seeing our girl show her interest in something she's NEVER done before. We liked seeing the several instructors on the mat. We were delighted to see she was attentive to the instructor. This is shocking in itself! Her attention span can be short if it's not fun. There is a ton of space to move around. This might be weird but I actually am so happy the ceiling is really high up. Is that just me? The air felt open and fresh in the waiting/seating area where the parents sit. This is a HUGE deal breaker because I enjoy watching my kiddos development their skill and take notes on how we can implement practices at home. Although the kids go further and further away for us where we can't take clear video and pictures, and our girl didn't see us, she participated! We encourage our kids to find something they enjoy and to get REALLY good at it! I definitely recommend trying the first class if you're in search of a sport/activity for the kiddos (which is discounted by a lot compared to the monthly membership). The front desk representative, Courtney, was so kind and friendly. I overheard her conversation with a mom, as I was next in line, and Courtney was so funny and REAL! Overall, we had a great first impression and when we came back for her first class (discounted trial class), we had a great experience. read more

My 8 year old daughter loves GU! She has been going to a beginner tumbling class once a week since March this year. She could hardly do a proper cartwheel when she started and now she has all kinds of crazy tricks up her sleeve and almost has her back handspring down. Whatever the teachers are doing, they are doing something right because now if all else fails she can go join the circus lol. read more

I wanted to write an unusual review - about how well someone can treat a potential customer even if the transaction doesn't happen. I visited GU and the place is awesome. It is super well run, clean, and I felt safety was a priority. I had been to other gymnastics gyms in this area which feel like factories - cram kids into large groups, and safety second. I was excited to bring my sons to the ninja class! That said, there was a small clause in the master agreement about using my kiddos' likeness in marketing that I was unable to sign but the calls I had with the woman who runs the gym were thoughtful and proactive as she explored every avenue of how we could make it work. It ultimately didn't, but she went above and beyond. That is how you treat people and how I would want my kiddos treated. KUDOS! Send your children here, you won't be sorry. We have been coming here for a few months now. Our 3.5 year old LOVES it! She LOVES Coach Jeff! He is so sweet with the kids and really takes care of them like his own Grandkids. Ali is the Little Ninjas Coach that does a class at the same time and she is so fun teaching ninjas to tumble and cool moves. Jennifer at the front desk is sweet and super helpful. This place is ridiculous expensive, the staff at the front are not friendly and have had several parents complain about their attitudes, and they never have full classes for kids to socialize and make friends. The instructors seem to be good enough but we felt this was not the right place for us! My kids never seemed to thrive here or learn new things. We have since changed to a different place for gymnastics and my kids are doing amazing. read more

I'm not sure who I spoke with (I believe she runs/owns the place) but when I called and asked a question about an accommodation (nothing unreasonable) for my special needs son she acted absolutely shocked I would put my child with special needs in gymnastics. After she had a little meltdown during her answer, I said thank you and hung up. I called Gym Cheer and they were more than helpful and kind, I can't wait for my child to start classes there. Both my daughters have been going to GU for about 2 years now. We really love it here. We've developed close relationships with many of the personnel. The front desk always eagerly greets us and the coaches remember personal details about my girls and always check in with them. It's always such an enjoyable experience for all of us. Coach Jeff was especially instrumental in acclimating my youngest (age 3) to the gym and has always ensured she was comfortable by making class fun and interactive. She always looks forward to seeing him. We've always been impressed with Courtney and Olivia too. They go out of their way to interact with my kids and always make them smile and laugh. All 3 coaches are encouraging, supportive and appropriately push the kids to do their best. I highly recommend this gym and these coaches. read more

My girls are enjoying classes here. The teachers are nice. There's lots of variety. They are young (5 and 4) so we are not there for Olympics type training. We just go so they can be active and meet kids their ages. The only challenge is scheduling a make-up class - there is only one option a week and it fill ups fast. read more

I like this place. Its huge and clean. The classes are not big giving instructors time to focus on your child. Instruction was very good and my little angel (5 yrs old) learned so much in the 8 week summer session she took. I will be signing her up for fall. read more

Both of my kiddos love their classes at GU! My daughter is 6 and has been doing classes here for almost 3 years. My son is 3 and loves the Little Ninjas class for the boys! Their favorite coach is Coach Jeff! He is so good with all the littles. Jeff is patient, friendly, motivating, and encouraging. When my daughter first started, she was timid and nervous. Coach Jeff brought her out of her shell and made her feel welcome and at home in the good company of friends of coaches. My daughter took classes here for a little over a year (we have moved out of the area ). In my opinion, the best coach here is Coach Courtney. My daughter tried a few coaches before Courtney and they were too young, basically there just to collect a paycheck and did not engage well with the kids they were instructing ( I think one of the coaches was named Jillian). Coach Courtney was fantastic, patient, very engaging and did not play favorites with anyone. Front desk staff was professional and kind, too. read more

I am so impressed with Coach Allie and Kaylee! Their love for kids and their love to teach is so apparent in classes. I had a negative experience with my son the first go around. I was asked to please just try Coach Allies class, well I am so glad I did! My son adores her and I known the feeling is mutual. It's wonderful to watch their relationship grow with each week. My three daughters (ages 6, 6, and 8) have been taking lessons here for the last year. My kids have really enjoyed it. The instructors are kind and nicely balance challenging the kids without pushing them too far. As a homeschooling family, we have been able to take advantage of the homeschooling classes which are offered during the school day. The office staff has always been professional and helpful. Ok, I understand in this small town we don't have many options, but there are more than one to choose, so I don't get how they have such bad customer service. Facilities are great, and some coaches are very good as well, but the teenagers than attend the desk are not only clueless but rude, they make you feel as if they are the ones doing you a favor. We are the ones paying. They promise they will get you in the class you wanted so that you pay the enrollment fees, but they never deliver. Unfortunately our little ones are the ones who suffered by having their hearts broken. Please beware, as a mother, I can stress this enough, beware of this management before you enroll. Empty promises, horrible customer service and disappointed kids. read more

We love gymnastics unlimited because of coach Jeff. My three girls absolutely love him. He is so good with the kids. He takes his time and is very patient with the kids in his classes. He is caring and gives them the self confidence they need to try hard and do the best they can. He lets the kids be kids. I would and do recommend coach Jeff 100%. read more

This place is close to my house so I signed my 5 year old when we moved here a year ago. She has learned absolutely nothing. The "coaches"just stand around and don't actually teach her anything. As I watch, she just keeps doing the same thing wrong over and over with no direction or assistance. The coaches just stand there and go through the motions , or talk to each other. There are a couple of good ones, but the majority are how I've described. The place we went to before we moved had rows and rows of competition awards hanging. This place has barely any. This is such a great reflection of the coaching. Also, they charge $80 a month and $50 every year as a registration fee. I don't know what I'm registering for every year! If you're looking for a place for your kid to jump around and have fun, go to My Gym. It's a great time. If you want your kid to learn gymnastics, don't go go Gymnastics Unlimited. read more

My daughter has been attending for 8 weeks. She is 3 years old and is having a great experience at GU. I find it easy to makeup a class as they have several classes in my child's age range. In the short time I have been there, they have proven to be professional and accommodating. I have tried 3 different coaches at various times to see what class would work best for us and they are always okay with me switching classes. All 3 coaches (Jeff, Zach and Courtney) have been good and my daughter is loving gymnastics at this wonderful place! She is always happy to go to class and asks if she can stay longer when class is over. They also have a toddler area and televisions to keep my 1 year old occupied. My son really enjoys the little Ninja classes for boys. He started at age 4. He was very nervous, but the Ninja headband and the energy of the class quickly won him over. He also appreciates that he can easily see me from the gym floor at all times. His balance, strength, and confidence have all improved. I also think this is the perfect intro into listening and following directions from a coach. read more
