The Lab's clinics are phenomenal! My daughter started playing volleyball in junior high and she wanted to build her skills to become a more competitive, high school-level player. The Lab Training Club has the best coaches and clinics for players of all levels. My daughter has attended several volleyball camps/clinics and private coaching sessions at different club locations, and after attending The Lab, it's very apparent how top tier The Lab's volleyball training is. The difference in my daughter's volleyball play on her club team in one year is just incredible, and I contribute it to The Lab's clinics, private and semi-private coaching, and sports performance training. As a parent, things I've noticed watching The Lab's volleyball clinics are they are planned to the minute--without a second wasted. They ALWAYS start and end on time. These kids are getting the most out of The Lab's clinics, and as a parent investing in my daughter's volleyball goals and in her developing into a more competitive player, I appreciate the value I'm seeing in what my daughter is getting out of The Lab Training Club. These coaches are in high demand, and the private coaching sessions can be gone as fast as they are posted, so I would strongly suggest signing up as soon as they get posted on the signup calendar.The Lab's Clinics and training sessions fill-up quickly, as they only take a certain number of players to maintain the quality coaching they are known for. (I like and prefer The Lab's "quality over quantity"-style clinics.) The coaches coach every player equally, and every player receives personalized feedback from their coaches for adjustments on how to get the skills perfected as they are practicing. The Lab also develops well-rounded players and teach ALL positions versus position-only coaching. For my daughter, this was incredibly valuable, because one club assessed her and told her she'd be a Libero. Once club season started and she was placed on her team, she was designated as a Defensive Specialist (DS)/Outside Hitter (OH). Thankfully, she had practiced those positions at The Lab's clinics, and did not just focus on "position only" practices. Lastly, I want to point out the importance of incorporating the Sports Performance training into your player's volleyball practice schedule. Speed, agility, and vertical jump training is the difference maker in developing "elite-level" players. The additional strength and conditioning to get to the ball fast enough, or jumping high enough, or having the reaction time and endurance necessary to play at the high-school or the top club levels, Sports Performance training is essential and should be considered. The Lab has helped my daughter with "faster feet" and improving her athleticism--especially with endurance, to be able to play weekend-long tournaments and back-to-back games without losing steam. Where do I start? My twin daughters went to the 3rd - 6th grade clinics and they loved Coach Caitlin. Always would say she was positive and so nice ... and very pretty too! Well fast forward to 7th grade and now we are taking private lessons with her. Coach never stops to bring out the best of each kid. She is firm, patient, positive and kind during the sessions. One twin didn't want to be on team like her twin and she reluctantly started privates .. but now she is jumping out of the car which I can't stop fast enough so she can get in the gym and warm up for Coach. With Caitlin's drive, this twin touches the ball every day and just lives for volleyball. She has improved so much and is ready to be on a team next year.
