We are nothing but disappointed to see how outdated and poorly maintained the place is. The building smells old. The rockwall is "out-of-order" and has been for what sounds like years. The fans and ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Sure, it has everything but all the equipment and amenities are poorly maintained. The equipment is quite outdated. Herbal tea on arrival, one hour gentle massage from Don, a foot soak and a light lunch, manicure (his very first), pedicure (his feet never looked better) and facial from Melissa, Dad practically floated home. He loved every minute, was still floating 2 days later. As he wrote us: "It's luxurious, yes, but also therapeutic, a body healing. Medicare should include it." And I suspect he will be back. All she wanted was to get her pain meds(see two above) before getting physical therapy. Not an unreasonable request. I could go on and on but why?

as a fitness enthusiast who works out most days of the week, i am always happy to see a fitness…read morecenter on site at the hotel where i'm staying. the fitness center is free for hotel guests, and you must use your room key to enter the room. access is allowed 24/7 which is convenient since some hotels restrict the usage of their fitness center to certain hours. unfortunately, there weren't many pieces of apparatus inside, as i saw only a few treadmills, a stationary bike, a medicine ball, and one weight machine. there was a big flat screen tv mounted in the center of the back wall to keep you entertained while using the cardio machines. one thing that bothered me was the fact that this room gets hot easily. even though i turned on the a/c before i jumped on the treadmill, it got hot and stifling within a few minutes. i'm sure part of it was due to the fact that the room is not very big. despite the lack of equipment and small confined space, i was still able to use the fitness center to get in a short workout before i started my day.
