This is a relatively new restaurant, opened in late 2025. The space is small, with seating at the bar or a standing area. They have a selection of sake and some shochu-based cocktails (Japanese version of soju). The menu is limited. Their signature gyoza were pretty good, with an interesting twist of being so juicy they are similar to pan-fried soup dumplings. The tuna with crispy rice was also good. Cool vibe, great drinks, mediocre dumplings. I was really excited to try this place but left a little disappointed. There's very limited bar seating - so it's a bit crammed, but it does have a cool ambiance. The drinks were surprisingly unique and delicious - I had the yuzu piña, which I deff recommend. Food wise, the menu is pretty small. We tried the spicy tuna on crispy rice (great) as well as their signature gyoza (meh). Gyoza Bar was very dark and dimly lit inside, I felt lowkey underdressed in a t shirt and shorts, but I liked the vibes. When you first walk in, it's a narrow hallway dimly lit & you walk into a very aesthetic small dining area. They only have bar seating or standing area to eat. I would recommend this place for smaller, intimate groups. We ordered the pork gyoza & crispy rice w/ spicy tuna for our apps. The crispy rice was good & i liked how the hot crunchiness of the rice complimented the colder spicy tuna on top. I ordered the ramen that they usually serve on their lunch menu - it was a good portion for 1 person. Ask the staff for additional sides / sauces- i was able to get samples of their hot sauce, garlic, & another sauce i forgot the name to add to my ramen to enhance the flavor. Surprisingly ramen had a good amount of pork. I would come back & happy to find a place to show my friends for a casual yet cool dining experience !! read more

Loved this place!! Also our server made the experience ten times better. He was great! The ramen and gyoza were incredible. The lights and decor made the bar very moody which was nice as well. Gyoza Bar is a hidden gem with a really cool, modern vibe. Everything we ordered was so tasty and had really amazing flavor, I especially enjoyed the Vegan Bowl with the super soft eggplant and the fresh dipping noodles. Mickey is also super fun to talk to and knowledgeable about the food. We will definitely be back soon. read more

This new restaurant in West Hollywood is nestled back behind a cozy walkway dimly lit which opens into a true nostalgic speakeasy vibe upon entering. I really enjoyed their large pork bowl for lunch. All items were perfectly cooked and seasoned. This is a second location for them. I would encourage anyone to come give it a try. The gentleman behind the counter was highly professional and suggested my meal choice. Unfortunately, I ate everything before I could take a picture but the presentation of the food was great. I have been wanting to go for awhile, since restaurants in WeHo don't have a long lifespan these days. Considering how my experience went I am not concerned about Gyoza Bar closing anytime soon. I went to Japan last year and this ambience gave similar vibes. Very cool and underground. We had the salmon sashimi, crispy rice with tuna, pork gyoza and dipping noodles. All was delicious. Washed down with a cold beer and sake. Highly recommend. Andrew, behind the bar, was also very kind and considerate. Took good care of us. Highly recommend all around! read more

Didn't try. Totally confused by their menu. More expensive if you eat there. Went in to order pick up, which was a lower price. However, you don't get the same amount, but can order more, but costs more than if you eat at the restaurant.
