Amazingly delicious. A simple little place with a speakeasy feel. IYKYK. Delicious cold tofu, crispy rice and of course gyoza.

Cool vibe, great drinks, mediocre dumplings. I was really excited to try this place but left a little disappointed. There's very limited bar seating - so it's a bit crammed, but it does have a cool ambiance. The drinks were surprisingly unique and delicious - I had the yuzu piña, which I deff recommend. Food wise, the menu is pretty small. We tried the spicy tuna on crispy rice (great) as well as their signature gyoza (meh). They definitely looked better than they tasted - we found them almost watery inside and lacking a lot of flavor.

Gyoza Bar was very dark and dimly lit inside, I felt lowkey underdressed in a t shirt and shorts, but I liked the vibes. The menu was simple but the tuna crispy rice and pork gyoza were delicious and I would go back and get them again. They serve lunch which is surprising since it feels so late-night vibes I guess, but honestly the price isn't bad for what you get, so it definitely could be a good lunch option, too.

Cute little bar style restaurant tucked away in a corner! Fairly new to the weho dining scene - they just opened in november of 2025 I like the ambiance a lot. When you first walk in, it's a narrow hallway dimly lit & you walk into a very aesthetic small dining area. They only have bar seating or standing area to eat. I would recommend this place for smaller, intimate groups. We ordered the pork gyoza & crispy rice w/ spicy tuna for our apps. The crispy rice was good & i liked how the hot crunchiness of the rice complimented the colder spicy tuna on top. I ordered the ramen that they usually serve on their lunch menu - it was a good portion for 1 person. Ask the staff for additional sides / sauces- i was able to get samples of their hot sauce, garlic, & another sauce i forgot the name to add to my ramen to enhance the flavor. Surprisingly ramen had a good amount of pork. I would come back & happy to find a place to show my friends for a casual yet cool dining experience !!

This new restaurant in West Hollywood is nestled back behind a cozy walkway dimly lit which opens into a true nostalgic speakeasy vibe upon entering. I really enjoyed their large pork bowl for lunch. All items were perfectly cooked and seasoned. This is a second location for them. I would encourage anyone to come give it a try. The gentleman behind the counter was highly professional and suggested my meal choice. Unfortunately, I ate everything before I could take a picture but the presentation of the food was great. I'll look forward to my next visit.

Once you get INSIDE you are met with a super friendly welcoming staff ready to serve you the tastier savoriest dumplings!

I wish more restaurants would do this. I stopped in for a quick bowl of their clear broth chicken ramen and it was seriously delicious: light, clean flavor but still really satisfying. Exactly what I wanted. I'm really not a huge fan of those heavy, creamy ramen broths that a lot of people rave about. I get the appeal but personally it just feels like artery clogging overkill for a few minutes of flavor that disappears way too fast. I much prefer a lighter, cleaner broth that you can actually enjoy without feeling weighed down afterward. They also have this matcha ramen that's limited to only 12 bowls a day which immediately caught my attention. It looked really interesting and now I'm curious enough that I'll definitely be back to try it. New favorite ramen spot in LA unlocked!

Definitely a good spot for a date night. I was craving some yakitori, so we ordered a bunch of different ones including Negima, Gizzard, Tsukune, Wings, Chicken Thigh, Liver, Hearts, and Cartilage. All the yakitori was cooked to order and everything came out really good. We also had the Hokkaido Scallops & Sweet Shrimp Crudo, which was delicious. For sushi, I ordered some nigiri including Scallop, Salmon Belly, Bluefin Toro, and Kanpachi, plus the King Tuna Roll. I have to say everything tasted pretty good. I honestly came in thinking it was going to be just okay, but I was pleasantly surprised and ended up really enjoying everything we ordered. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere was nice and intimate. I'd definitely come back, especially for the yakitori. Great little spot for a date night if you're around The Grove.

Outdoor consists of the sidewalk & a sectioned off patio section. I liked the dark ambiance, it felt very romantic. The lighting was very intimate. A waitress came, got our drink orders and we ordered the duck breast as an appetizer. We got our drinks, which the tall glass is very misleading as I felt like I barely sipped anything and it was GONE, lol. I ordered the watermelon drink and it was tasty, I just wanted watermelon water anyways. It came with a watermelon slice which was nice. After the drinks we were WAITING idk how long until a different waitress came and took our order ?? We put in our entree, received them & never got our appetizer. We were waiting a long time for someone else to come by. I ordered the seared kanpachi jalapeño roll, which 10/10!! it was flavorful, had the spice & felt fresh. I didn't have to add anything like soy sauce to it. I just eat all my sushi with ginger and it paired great with it. Finally someone showed up & we said we ordered a duck breast appetizer with the first waitress, which was never put in. So the second waitress went ahead and put it in. The duck breast has an interesting texture. I can't explain it. I did not like the texture. The flavor was fine but the texture really threw me off personally. Kind of reminded me of pâté cat food, it felt like how paté cat food looks if that makes sense. Texture wise. Overall, service was trash. The waitresses were both unfriendly, but I guess that's just LA customer service nowadays. We waited forever. Spent more time waiting rather than eating. Valet or street metered parking. Restrooms in the back, 2 single unisex stalls.

I'll be honest, when I arrived and noticed there weren't any other customers I had a brief moment of doubt. But that doubt didn't last long. I sat on the patio, which was peaceful. Started with the veggie bun, which was really flavorful and a great way to open the meal. Then came the PLA-TON Ramen and it was excellent. The Tonkotsu broth was rich, buttery, and the kind of thing you want to drink straight from the bowl, and the fact that a broth that good is without meat makes it even more impressive. My only wish was that there was more of it. The flight of homemade sauces was a standout too, inventive and genuinely tasty. And then there was Yasu, our waiter, who brought five star energy to every interaction and elevated the whole experience. Ippudo V erased every bit of that initial doubt. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu.

We ordered the garlic edamame, brussels sprouts, crispy corn, tempura eggplant, and Volcano, Brooklyn Bridge, and Super Mario Bros rolls. Of these, the volcano roll was by far my favorite! I was iffy about it having cherry tomatoes on top but the flavors of this roll blew me away! Next time, I would order this roll all for myself. The other two rolls were just okay, nothing to write home about, but also not bad. My least favorite was the edamame. The soy/garlic sauce was good, but was all at the bottom. I would have appreciated more fried garlic throughout. It really just tasted like plain edamame. The tempura eggplant was also just okay but if you dipped it in the aioli that came on top of the brussels sprouts then it was really good! I would definitely order the volcano roll, brussels sprouts, and crispy corn again (in that order). Everything else I could do without.

I haven't been back in quite a while since moving to the Long Beach area about six years ago, so I was actually pretty excited to have it again today. Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. The noodles were too soft, the meat was mediocre, and all I could really taste was a mouthful of soybean paste flavor. The subtle bonito flavor that I remember and loved was completely gone. Instead, everything just tasted overwhelmingly salty. I've heard from friends recently that Tsujita may have changed their recipe, and after today, I have to agree. It's not the same.
