The service was good but hard to them hear with the music though and the restaurant was nice and clean. The crispy rice tuna was delicious. A must get, the A5 waygu ramen was just eh. The broth was lite in consistency and flavor. Menma red onion. Means Menma , red onions, Menma is Japanese for bamboo shoots. It over powers the both so no beef flavor and the soup lacked salt. If you're going to make a simple ramen your both has to be on point. I probably won't go back since I was just in town visiting. But if you going to go there try a different ramen than I had or change the soup base

Very upscale hole in the wall sushi spot in Hollywood! High quality sushi, fast service, and apparently the busiest during lunch for business meetings. Very worth it and will be dropping in again next time Imm in Hollywood.

My wife decided to visit her mom so i decided to bring my side piece here. Honestly the esthetic of this restaurant n location is great. Gyoza and the ramen were top tier portions were great ! Great location to cheat but overall great food definitely coming back here. May consider bringing my actual wife here.

Our family loves Iki Ramen! The K-Town location has always been one of our favorites, so we were really happy when this location opened. Nowadays I come to Iki for my sushi fix, but I also still love the mazemen. My favorite is the mentaiko mazemen, and the ikura that comes with it is such a nice touch! The ikura at Iki is the best I've had, I really like that they marinate/season it so that it is extra tasty. The service here is always great, and there is free parking for one hour with validation in the parking lot which is very convenient.

Ambience is really cute, clean and minimal. Love the attention to the details (the water glasses, light wood interior). Service is great, server knew about sashimi and understands the menu thoroughly. His recommendations are great and also attentive yet not interrupting. We had the yuzu-shoyu ramen, toro roll, blossom roll Ramen is slightly on the smaller option but it tastes really refreshing I like the broth, would try the garlic one next time. Ordered a blossom roll to share after I had the ramen and it's filling. Toro roll was 8.5/10 I'd recommend having an appetiser or some sushi on the side, I came in starving hungry and the ramen was 6.5/10 filling. This is a nice spot I'd definitely come back again

Iki Ramen on Sunset is one of those places that means a lot to me because I've been coming to Iki for so long, and it's been amazing watching them grow while keeping the quality and hospitality the same. The Hollywood location brings that same consistency and heart, just with the energy of Sunset. Most people come in thinking ramen only, but their sushi and omakase absolutely deserve the spotlight too. The fish quality is always solid, clean, and well executed, and the omakase is one of the best values around if you want something that feels special without the crazy price tag. Everything is thoughtfully prepared and consistently good, which is rare when a place is doing this many things. Of course the ramen still hits every time. Rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, tender chashu with great flavor. It's the bowl you crave on the way home and the reason you keep coming back. No matter how busy they get, the food comes out right. What really makes this place stand out is the team. They treat you like family and you can feel the pride they have in the restaurant. The service and the atmosphere make it easy to relax and stay awhile instead of just eating and leaving. For the quality you get, the pricing is more than fair, and honestly that's exactly what we need right now. A spot where you can have a great experience, eat really well, and not feel like you overpaid. They also have the Koreatown location and it's just as good, which says everything about how consistent they are as a brand. If you're on Sunset and want ramen, sushi, or a great omakase experience with real value and genuine hospitality, Iki continues to deliver every time.

The restaurant I wanted was closed and we decided to come here. That was the best decision I've made all trip. We tried as much as we could and they did miss on a single thing. The service was top notch everyone was friendly and they timed every course perfect. The modern Japanese aesthetic was very pleasing. We tried the appetizers hand rolls, nigiri, bao, mazemen and ramen all of which were spectacular. The sake flight was a great addition.

Very fine and delicate ramen. The sushi is also beautiful tasting. One of the cleanest shrimp tempura I've ever tasted. Everyone I came with also adored the sushi. My only criticism is the blueberry lemonade didn't pair well with anything and tasted like a melted rocket pop. However the color was beautiful

Everything I ordered was phenomenal! I ordered the STC Roll, Miso Soup, Pork Bao and Chashu Don (not pictured). The flavors were incredible. The service was great as well, as they constantly refilled my water and checked on my table. This place was very thoughtfully decorated. The details felt very modern and upscale. They are a bit small in size, but mighty. I wish this was a standalone restaurant, it is in the lobby of a building so the bright lighting of the lobby throws off the ambiance at night. I will definitely be back to try the ramen which looked incredible!

we were on our way to check out the japan house exhibit (the food replica exhibit!!! it was so fun!!) and what better way to start the day than eating japanese food?! i have not heard of this spot but looked up japanese food in the area and this popped up. we luckily found street parking and walked on over. the place is very bright and inviting. clean + minimal but cute. no frills. i just had a feeling the food would be great. i weighed the options and was between the 8 pc nigiri set or the kaisen don. i had my eyes on the kaisen don from looking at the pictures and im glad that what i went with! the presentation was beautiful. the portions are not large but i enjoyed every bit of it! the fish was fresh. my favs were salmon, albacore, blue crab, and the scallops. oh man, scallops in the don was the best! love how fragrant it was. not sure what kind of flavored salt was on it but it was great. the miso soup was a bit fusion-y imo but i liked it okay. a little bit on the sweeter side. i forgot to take a picture of my husband's vegan ramen but that was delicious as well! vegan ramen can often be pretty greasy but the broth in this one was deep yet clean and not at all greasy. really enjoyed everything! even the green tea was really tasty with some barley floating in it. a nice touch to make it taste more roasted. the servers checked in on us multiple times, refilled our waters and were attentive! would come back again for a peaceful lunch experience and would love to try more things on the menu in the future!

We were in the area for a show at the Pantages and looking for a good Japanese restaurant. Found this place through Yelp and it did not disappoint. Overall the food was high quality and delicious, a little bit on the pricier side, but fair for the quality and location. These were the items we ordered: Kaisen Don - 5/5 High quality variety of fresh sushi in a small bowl. Reminded me of a chirashi bowl, although if you're hungry it won't be enough. I ordered a hand roll after this since I was still hungry. Tonkotsu - 5/5 delicious rich umami broth. True to authentic Japanese ramen. Salmon hand roll - 5/5 high quality salmon, crisp seaweed Shio Koji ice cream - 5/5 Wow, one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Refreshing and not too sweet, creamy, milky, delicious. Try it!! Black Sesame Mousse 5/5 - This was delicious as well. Smooth and a good choice if you like black sesame. We didn't have reservations and were seated at the bar. Strongly recommend making reservations. Service at times was a bit spotty. They could probably work on this a bit more. Beautifully decorated restaurant and setting. Very classy feeling. There's parking in the adjacent structure and also metered street parking. Highly recommend and would come back!

Since the pieces were large, it was slightly awkward to eat without any plates, and I was just catching the crumbs with my hand (didn't have the ramens at the time). Also got a yuzu beer to try and it was delicious, nice yuzu flavor with some tanginess. I had the shoyu with duck while my husband had the yama tonkotsu that came with fragrant black garlic oil. The tonkotsu is not one of those rich, milky, creamy ones and I personally like these lighter ones more. I also enjoyed the shoyu which had a pleasant depth of flavor, but it felt like it was relying too heavily on MSG for umami. Noodles came out chewy. Definitely not the best ramens I've had but are some of the better ones in LA. Our server was friendly, as were the rest of the staff. Service was quick. The restaurant decor feels straight out of Japan, an extra bit of fun. There's a $10 paid lot behind this block of buildings that's convenient for anything in this part of Little Tokyo.

While good, it didn't have the crisp flakiness you'd find in a specialty restaurant that specializes in just tonkatsu. However, it is still good. Next up was the omelette with gravy with fried rice that had both shrimp and pork. I feel the egg of the omelette was well made. It had that texture and consistency you would really want from an omelette of that nature. The pork and shrimp fried rice tasted a little light in the seasoning and flavor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The gravy was also lighter than a heavy gravy as well. When the food came out, I thought the meal would be deeply heavy due to the quantity and the gravy, but it still felt a bit light and manageable, which was kind of outside of my expectations, so that was pretty interesting. I do like the chicken soup this comes with. It has a nice flavorful broth where you could tell it was made well too. The service here is pretty good and attentive. The ambiance is nice but pretty busy. Also, if you come on the weekend, expect to wait a bit because a lot of people do want to eat here and the line can become a bit backed up.
