We had a very DIY wedding, and I planned to do the flowers myself. But as the day approached, I realized I was over-committing myself and decided to find a florist for the bouquets. I decided to start with the BEST when interviewing florists and Emily took one look at my overwhelming pinterest and narrowed it down to a vision board that made me cry because it was exactly what I wanted! I worked extensively with Emily to help me with florals for my December 7, 2013 wedding. While we did our table centerpieces ourselves, Gypsy Floral did our bouquets, boutinnieres, chuppah decor, a few little centerpieces, embellished our cake, made sweet little arrangements for our guest table, and even made the most adorable garland for our pitbull Katie, who was our "flower girl"! Emily immediately understood the look I was going for and boy did she deliver! Our wedding day was a bit frantic. We had an outdoor wedding in 30 degree weather and so all of our vendors truly had to work together as a team to make this wedding happen. One example why the Gypsy ladies are simply the best: the concept I had in mind for my cake was not able to be executed because the icing froze (!) upon delivery to the venue and Emily came up with the most incredible "plan B" on the fly. Not everything on your big day will go as planned, so one of the most important things is to have vendors who work well under pressure and don't get flustered easily.
