Greek salad, white rice perfectly booked, and the traditional gryphon with gyro meat, onions, tomatoes, tzatziki sauce (with an extra for left overs)., everything delicious! Lamb gyro 3.75/5 I've been to this place a couple of times. Prices here are decent - $8.99 for a gyro that comes with chicken, beef, or lamb. They give a generous portion of meat and wrap it well so the filling doesn't fall out if you're eating it on the go. Portion is just the right amount to be full for one meal, but not too full. There's inconsistent flavoring, sometimes on the salty side, but it's pretty good when not too salty. The tzatziki sauce they use in the gyro is not tzatziki, it must be feta cheese of some sort. The restaurant is on the smaller size, maybe fits ~25 people if it was full. Decently quick service when ordering take-out. Plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall on the side of a major road. It's a good place to go if you want a quick bite to eat to order out or casually dine in. read more

This is the second time we have been here. The first time, only my son ordered a gyro and fries. Today, it was myself, my two sons, and my parents. Two of us had a lamb gyro platter. One child had a gyro & fries, one a chicken shawarma & fries. One had a chicken gyro platter. The food was great. We went out of our ur way to try this non chain. What a mistake! I ordered a chicken gyro sandwich and hubby ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich. The sandwiches were identical except his had pickles. The chicken on both sandwiches was huge chunks of strangely spiced chicken and each sandwich was drenched in sauce. We each took a bite or two and neither could continue to eat. My friends have been telling me to go here for a couple months and finally I went today on my lunch break. Wow oh wow we're they right! A legit authentic Gyro. I had the Beef Gyro combo with fries and extra side of tzatziki sauce of course. The amount of meat in this gyro -- I'm in love! Overall the food was good. The hummus and baba ganoush were good. Falafel has a very pleasant texture and the grape leaves were tasty. However. The Chicken shawarma was lacking. The meat was either of the can variety or over marinated in the lemon base of their shawarma marinade. The texture of the meat was very disappointing. read more

Gyro King in Dunnellon recently closed it's doors for good and we needed to find a new place for our gyro fix. We stumbled into Gyro Grill today for lunch with our daughter. We both ordered lamb gyro platters and our daughter ordered a kids chicken tender meal. The owner was very personable and friendly. He spoke directly to our daughter and encouraged her to pick out whatever she wanted to drink. Our meal was delicious and we will definitely be back soon. Have been going to this establishment for years now. 6-7 years before I even had a license. Food has never disappointed me, the owner has always been so polite to my father and I. Very very good people! 10/10 place to get food I highly recommend the Gyro and the Greek salad with lamb meat. If I could write a book about how good this place is I would. This is the only and I quite literally mean the only restaurant in Ocala that I have not gotten bored or tired of eating. It's always very fresh and refreshing. I can tell by reading the very few negative reviews that these people were just looking for a reason to complain. People are entitled to their opinion however if you're looking for good Greek food and hospitality like no other. This is the place to bring your money. This is a 5 start establishment, end of story! Wow!! A little gem in Jasmine Plaza. The lamb for the gyro platter is well seasoned and the Greek salad was delicious. We took Baklava home for dessert and it was great too. We ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash. It's was my first time eating from this establishment. We ordered the Chicken Shwarma, it was just bad! The chicken was extremely dry! I don't know what kind of salad dressing that is on the Greek salad, but it's intense and not in a good way. The hummus lacked flavor basically the only good parts of our meal with the tzatziki and the pita. Even the basmati rice, which I cook here at home all the time was dry. I don't know if it was an off night but i would not recommend. Save your money. read more

I've previously purchased (and greedily did not share) the Baklava. Had to go back and get more so I could have enough to share with family. This time went for picking up all the food for a lunch. I very much enjoyed the Greek + gyro salad: Nice chunky and big pieces of some of the most flavorful tomato since my childhood, generous with the feta and gyro. Proper salad greens. Herb blended seasoning well balanced (coated not oily). Family happily devoured their lamb and beef gyro platter and falafel sandwiches. Divine smells, textures and tastes for fresh and thoughtfully prepared nourishment. Of course more baklava to satisfy that sweet, crunchy, chewy, lightly-flaked goodness for dessert. read more

Way too many red onions in the Gyro lamb Gyro was decent and the fries were good. Do not get the chicken Gyro. It tasted like death.
