    Great fries and spicy tzatziki
    Peter M.

This place is fantastic. These guys whip out great euros really quick. They have an awesome place to eat. It's very modern and clean. Five out of five stars the only thing I would say is a mild warning that the spicy Taziki is very spicy, but delicious. 5/5!

We always drive by this place and thought we'd give it a try on a day where we wanted Mediterranean food. Finally had the opportunity to and we're not going anywhere else for now. The place is clean and you dine inside or outside patio (during warm season). The price is very reasonable and they give you a good portion. For myself, I usually cannot finish the platter or the salad in 1 sitting. Salad and platter are similar - except platter you will get a little bit of rice, potato and salad and salad is of course no rice or potato. I like their spicy sauce vs the white sauce. But both sauce are good! Husband always gets the meat lover gyro and he loves it. Falafel- crispy and not too oily. Perfect dip with white sauce. But I do love it more with spicy sauce. Fries- also crispy and good. Service is always great. Workers are always smiling. It's a nice environment to be in. Definitely our local go to spot if we crave it or not sure what to eat and highly recommend to try!

I ordered online for takeout. I wanted to go in to pick up my order & kind of check the place out. The line was long and the cashier was pretty busy so I looked around then drove around to the drive up pick up window, which was still somewhat slow moving at the time I went. The dining room here was nice & clean when I looked around, if you decide to dine in. I ordered spicy chicken gyro & fries. The gyro was good with fresh ingredients and plenty of spicy tzatziki sauce. I really liked it. The fries were okay to me. They were thick, seasoned & served hot which is great though. I'll for sure stop by again to check out some more options.

Gyropolis is sooooo good! This place was just remodeled and it's so much nicer on the inside (food was always amazing). The service is quick, and friendly. Now it looks like you can order ahead and pick up in the drive thru!

It think I found my new gyro spot. The meat potion was huge. The interior especially the restroom was gorgeous. Service was very fast as they even have a drive thru for preorders. Parking was plentiful.

The two main things I get off the menu is the gyropolis and the Mediterranean platter. They have some of the best gyros! I always do a pick up order you drive right to the drive through which is just for pick up orders, they are quick and always has it ready.

Nice sized portions, and lots of flavor. Friendly service, clean and welcoming interior and Pepsi fountain drinks made for a tasty lunch. I got the chicken gyro w spicy sauce and want to again. I'll be back soon!

Their new space is absolutely stunning! More seating, all updated and brand new. The food is amazing as always. Can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick lunch and a quick Yelp Twin Cities search led us to Gyropolis in Bloomington. This is an old school Greek restaurant. The workers are old (Greek?) guys. I had a Greek salad and Steve had a spicy Gyro sandwich. Both were delicious and exactly what you might expect. The ambiance is old Greek restaurant. There were two sets of Bloomington police officers who stopped by to eat. I'm wondering if they offer free lunch to police which some restaurants do. They are in the midst of a big renovation: they're adding a kitchen, more seating, and a patio. The parking lot is misery, yet a steady stream of people came through to eat. It's priced right too. But beware: The spicy gyro is spicy!

I've been to Gyropolis a couple of times when I'm in the Bloomington area. If you are craving a good gyro and you are tight on time - I'd call this the best spot. They can really crank out tasty food in a hurry! The staff is helpful and fast. The style is similar to your typical sandwich shop where you walk through the line and they prepare it in front of you with your choice of toppings. To be blunt - the spicy is... not so spicy. Minnesota spice, I guess (this hurts as a Minnesotan who loves heat)? Don't get me wrong - it tastes great and I loved it. But the sauce doesn't pack a kick so much as it does some good flavor. I told them I wanted a little extra fire this time and they LOADED me up with jalapeños... unfortunately, said jalapeños were pickled. Overall, great fast gyro sandwich. Only other thing I'd add is I got the seasoned fries as a side... I'd skip them next time. I like crispy / thinner / more well done fries. These were pretty thick cut and a little... limp? I got a side of the "spicy tzatziki" to dip them in... again - no real spice! Anyway, I left most of them on my plate.

It's been a while but we had to check out the newly remodeled Gyropolis. When we lived closer we would come here at least a few times a month. It was just as good as I remember with a huge new dining area and an added patio area for warm weather l. My gyro was delicious as usual. The fries I remember being a little more flavorful. Overall still one of my favorite Greek restaurants in the cities!

    Ask the Community - Gyropolis

There seems to be a dispute over whether or not the meat is halal here, does anyone else know if the meat is halal? I called the restaurant and the girl who picked up didn't not know what halal was.

    I think it's Kosher

    Is gyropolis halal?

I'm pretty sure the person underneath has no idea. Why would they serve halal food when they have pork on there menu? So I highly doubt it. Halal food is much more expensive then non halal

Perhaps it is because I requested a window seat when I made the reservation. It was very pleasant. This visit was on February 21, 2026, less than a month since Alex Pertti was shot and killed by ICE, only half a block from the restaurant. I was glad to see the restaurant was filled, even very early on a Saturday night. The waitress was friendly and very competent. The humas was as usual, wonderful: creamy and tasty. My wife ordered the appetizer version of the Spanakopita, which was enough for her to consider it a entree, along with a soup. I had the dinner special of broiled Atlantic Salmon with white wine and butter sauce. It was served with asparagus and rice pilaf. This is something that I had never tried at Christos and it was excellent. It also came with a house salad, which was also very good. The total, with one glass of wine, was $70.88 plus tip. One question: Why do the nightly specials never change?

So, with that in mind, I highly recommend using the highly capable online ordering feature and order up whatever you want...along with a side of fries, because, damn, the fries are good. Everything we've ordered, which includes a wide variety of sandwiches, pita wraps salads and fries, has tasted great. But more than that, they are FAST. I often order on my way and show up 5 minutes later. More times than not, the order is being finished up as I walk in or it's already done. So, in sum, it's super convenient, fast, with great online ordering capabilities and tasty food. The friendliness, customer service, ambience, etc. aren't top notch which causes me to withhold 1 star, but I don't care. I'm going back again. And again. And again.

There was no one in the place when we arrived and while we waited for our food there were 2 guys that came in to buy some pop. We explored the aisles while we waited for food. We got our food to go since we lived only about 5 minutes from here. The food was not what it used to be. The veggies were fresh but had a taste to them almost chemical cleaner tasting. The dressing was solid. The gyro meat fell flat as it felt like it was missing something. It came with pita and that was fine, The cucumber sauce was more on the runny side. My husband said his shrimp was meh. He liked the rice but wouldn't go back for it. This little greek place in the gas station used to be SO GOOD, but the standard is not to what it used to be. Based on both of our meals and the price (the price made us expect a much higher quality) we wouldn't return.
