Although it's only been a week, the paint job looks great. Thiago is incredibly responsive, which is rarely the case with contractors. After the job, a phone line had been left dangling (not a big deal). I texted Thiago, and within a couple of hours, it was fixed. We got 3 bids for the job, and Thiago's Painting was by far the best value. The only issue we had was that the team kept leaving our back gate open (we have dogs and live on a busy street), but other than that I would highly recommend Thiago's Painting.

I selected Gold Painting after receiving 8+ proposals from other painting contractors to paint the exterior of my large colonial in Concord MA, and all windows, mullions etc., as well as some necessary repairs for the job. I compared 'apples to apples' and Gold had the BEST proposal for the same scope of work. Very reasonable! The communications were Excellent, and when I had questions Alex Silveira responded right away via email or text. I asked as many questions as I could to be sure we were all on the same page. They provided proof of insurance both workmen's comp and liability to me as well. They also waranteed their work. Their crew was well supervised throughout, and no matter what I asked them to look at or address, or go over, they did it. I had no idea if I was too picky as I never did a paint job alone before, but they were great. I saw a few things even after they were paid and off the job, and they came back right away. Gold Painting excelled in every way, and stood behind their work. They felt like family by the time they were done, and I would hire them again. Also, watch out for the large paint contractors that only use subs. A small family business cares more about their reputation, and professionalism.

Dominic and his crew were very professional and polite, and would check with us whenever something needed to be noted or a decision needed to be made. I am a slightly difficult customer because I had some ideas about exactly HOW I wanted things to be installed with gaps to allow water vapor to escape from my basement floor. Dominic listened, offered ideas of his own, we tried a couple of things and came up with a solution that works. They are detail oriented and make sure that the structural details that are not even visible (but make a difference in the long haul), are done correctly. They don't take any shortcuts. Even though I only speak one language, they speak MANY LANGUAGES, which may be handy for you. Most importantly, THEY ARE HONEST. You have nothing to fear about leaving tools or any valuables around. They do not swear, which is important if children are around, and they are always VERY respectful. When they are finished, your project will be done and everything will be cleaned up, and you will leave a 5-Star review too. They introduced themselves and then they got to work. Dawson, Brandon and Travis were knowledgeable about the 'how' these windows work. I say this because the place I live the windows are 20 years old. My front door in particular has the storms on them that slide up and down. Dawson and Travis worked together tediously getting the storms in and out. They have done these types of storms before, but these being an older style they have not had experience with. The important trait here is they didn't give up. . My sills were extremely dirty. In some areas the pollen and dirt were caked on. They were very particular in making sure they cleaned it all out. My screens were taken off and hosed down. They were finished all windows and doors in less than 3 hours. I paid them and they each shook my hand saying it was a pleasure to meet me. Being older it is so nice to have individuals work in my home who are genuinely enthusiastic about their job and very polite. I thank Dawson, Brandon and Travis as I can see the true beauty the outside has to offer.

Wow! I had five…read moreestimates done, but only Victor showed a heightened sense of preparedness and professionalism on his first visit. I knew right away I was going to hire him. He was even flexible on the estimate when it came back too high for us to afford. And that estimate was exactly what we paid when all was said and done. That's a remarkable thing. Victor painted my whole house's interior (about 1000sq feet). He (even though it's his business) did every stroke of the painting. He arrived promptly every morning and stayed until a good transition moment presented itself at the end of a full day. He painted six rooms, walls and trim. His attention to detail was incredible. He has so much respect for his clients' property, furnishings and privacy. He went beyond expectations and seamlessly repaired every crack and flaw in our walls along the way. As he said, "If you don't repair things while you're painting, you're just changing colors." After the work was done, he came back in a few days to touch up any minor issues we had discovered since the job had been finished. He replaced all of our hardware (hinges, etc.) and added door stops to every door. He also told us if we see any issues in the future to give him a call. The man stands by his work. What a unique experience to have a contractor with such conscience and professionalism. We have had some terrible experiences with contractors in the past, but Victor of Vast Painting has maybe restored some of my faith. He is a true rarity that understands that a thrilled customer is more important and influential than 1000s of dollars spent on advertising.
