OKK is a woman-owned business that prides itself on locally-sourced food without hormones, GMO's or pesticides. The space is located in retail space, with plenty of parking. I walked in to the light, bright, and happy-feel-good space and was greeted by a friendly woman who took my order. I decided to go with the Vegan Smashed Avocado Toast and the Nutty Buddy Smoothie. I took a seat on one of the colorful and comfortable seats and modern rustic tables. A few moments later, my Nutty Butty Smoothie was delivered. The smoothie was tasty (Banana, Peanut Butter, Vanilla Vegas Protein, Raw Cacao and Almond Milk). I like that it was not too sweet, but felt that it was lacking a lot of peanut butter flavor. Perhaps an additional scoop was needed? The Vegan Smashed Avocado Toast arrived next. The presentation was super colorful and looked delicious. Gluten-free bread, Smashed Avocado, Sweet Potatoes, Pico de Gallo and Cilantro. This was quite good. I thought the avocado and sweet potato were delicious, and combined with the acidity of the pico de gallo was a great combination. Overall, a very healthy and tasty breakfast option. I decided to go with the classic Mango Pineapple bowl. There are three different sizes (kids, classic, and super). The Mango Pineapple bowl has blended pineapple, mango, banana and coconut milk layered between SoBoL Granola and topped with strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, coconut, and honey. The bowl was very refreshing and all the fruit was fresh. There are SoBol locations all over New York. The shelves were stocked with chips, shredded coconut, and other items.
