I mean - it was not great. The place is super cramped - so with my two people & two others in there, it was hard to get around. Insanely overpriced. Got one slice of fudge, which is advertised for $12 (I specifically said a half pound) and we each (two people) got one scoop of ice cream - it was $30. That's INSANE. $9 for a scoop of ice cream? My fudge is also disgusting. Rock hard - not smooth and fudgey - and literally tastes like soap. I almost wonder if they didn't fully clean whatever knife they used to slice it. I am really disappointed and now out $30 for an unpleasant experience. Staff also seemed bothered by customers being in there. Like they were doing us a favor, helping us. New owners recently re-opened this location after it had been closed for awhile. Chocolate is hand made, delicious and Expensive. I wanted to get the Dubai truffle but one domed truffle piece before tax was $5.99. This is not a typo. Staff was friendly and made some suggestions when we couldn't make up our minds. Twice in the last 10 days I've been to Kilwins in Babylon during their business hours and found it closed: Saturday 3/1 at 3:30 PM and Monday 3/10 at 7:45 PM. Hours on website both days were 12 PM - 10 PM, but no sign with store hours on door or in windows. If there's some emergency where you have to close early, a simple handwritten sign in window stating that would be nice. Otherwise it just looks like you went out of business. I have been there before and they did have good candy, fudge and ice cream. read more

So first off... 5 stars for Tanner! Me and my best friend walked in after not being able to get tacos across the street. For all of the reviews on pricing, as soon as you walk in you know what you're walking into. It's very boutique/ice cream parlor vibes. Is it a little more than other places? For sure, but the experience we had made it worthwhile. Tanner was so much fun! Also there was a girl there I'm not sure if she's manager but she's so sweet too. Real HUGE chunks of apple and crust all mixed into vanilla ice cream. Some cinnamon as well. Think apple pie ala mode...but not warm and all mixed together. It was a wonderful combination of flavors! My friend went with mint chocolate chip ice cream. The color of her ice cream was so vibrant and bright. She enjoyed it! Customer service was great. Kilwins offers a variety of products - chocolates, truffles, candy apples, ice cream; it's a dessert lovers dream. It just smells like sweet goodness. This visit, my first visit I opted only for ice cream. I got a cup of Dulce de Leche. I'm usually not one to get something outside my go-to flavors, but what can I say, I was feeling daring, so I tried something new. And glad I did! It was really good. Only thing is they don't give you enough. I'll have to go back to try my usual flavor pistachio. There's one brand I absolutely love in that flavor, so we'll see if Kilwins is equally as good. I was in here twice, giving the establishment another chance. Sadly, today is my last time I will spend my money here. It was my turn to order and as I gave my order to the unpleasant chubby girl with the dark hair and she rudely walked away from me while I was asking for what I would like to purchase. The girl walked away and another coworker noticed and quickly came to take my order. The other girl who took my order noticed how rude the coworker was. I don't know what her problem is because the last time there was all caramel all over my box so the guy who was working there said I'll replace the box for you. He was so kind. The girl took the dirty box from the male coworker and wiped it with paper towel and then slammed the box and the paper towel on top of the counter rather than exchanging the box. She is very rude to customers and she was nasty to her coworker that day as well. If I owned a business that was selling chocolate for $50 a lb, I would ensure my employees were delivering top notch service . As a patron, I will never ever come here again. After a late lunch/early dinner we decided to take a little walk through Babylon Village and my wife declares "I could really go for some chocolate".. 10 feet later we look to our left and stumble across Kilwins! #Blessed (shamelessly stolen from Tara P.) Not too familiar with Babylon Village and never been inside before I thought this was a local place, but the guy behind the counter explains that there are many locations of Kilwins. Now I know that many of my LI friends complain about "chains" and I always find that a little strange because it seems to be the majority of establishments are chains on LI. If you didn't know better (or get schooled like I did) you wouldn't guess this is a chain with many of the items made in store and some treats incorporate local ingredients (chocolate covered beef jerky from a local butcher for example - I didn't try this). The guy behind the counter reminded us that Easter is coming soon and if we were in the market for some Easter treats this would probably a good time. We bought some little gifts for the kids in our family and bought some interesting looking sea salt and bacon chocolates for friends we would see later that night. Since Ice cream is the bane of my existence I was forced to get a scoop of cappuccino chocolate chunk, which I thought was very good, but could have used a touch of cinnamon to compliment the creamy coffee ice cream and dense chocolate chunks. I should have mixed it with their cinnamon coffee bun ice cream I noticed after I ordered - next time. Kilwins is a great little ol' timey looking chocolate/candy store with modern treats. The prices seemed reasonable for most items and the people that worked there were quite friendly. Kilwin's is a chocaholic's paradise. As soon as you come in, you are greeted by a great view of delicious goodies in the process of being made to perfection. It smells so good and sweet in here, just coming in filled me up with sweet satisfaction. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, I was just gawking at everything for a good minute and they didn't look at me funny and were actually very patient. I can't really recommend anything because I'm the worst person to recommend chocolate related stuff because I would probably say get everything. I've been to multiple locations, and while Babylon is smaller the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Bought 2 ice cream cups and a small 9pc. box of truffles. $35 and not only worth it, but in the price range of other chocolate/ice cream shops and parlors. Enjoyed my toasted coconut ice cream very much! One of my favorite flavors...wish they would bring in their chocolate coconut ice cream, as that is my ultimate favorite! Large selection of chocolate delicacies. Basically chocolate covered anything is available. We came for ice cream. Sampled a few flavors, one, the New Orleans Bourbon Prailine Pecan something or other was way too sweet. Settled on the chocolate peanut butter. Very decadent, very chocolatey. Others in my party had the Double Peanut Butter pie, also delicious. The Blueberry Waffle cone and Mud selection were also hits. I would say the least favorite was Chocolate Peanut Butter- it was just too sweet. The prices are a little high- $5.75 for one scoop, but that being said you really only need one scoop to satisfy yourself. What a cute little sweet shop! A good friend of mine is related to the owner and recommended that I stop by. Everything looked SO good it was so hard not to buy it all (and prob gain 1000 lbs - yikes). Anyway, we decided on the salted caramel ice cream and a dark chocolate peanut butter cup. Both were amazing!! The ice cream was to die for - silky smooth with real caramel swirls. Delish. Service is awesome here with plenty of friendly faces working the counters any they will let you sample the ice cream and fudge willingly to help you make a selection. Kilwins is just an awesome sweet sugary paradise. I was here the first day they opened and since have been back too many times to count. I particularly go there for the chocolate fudge. The staff members were really nice, everyone greeted me and told me to have a good night when I left. I got the chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a dish, with hot fudge and whipped cream on it. The girl who served up the ice cream agreed to place one of their homeade Kilwin's chocolate peanut butter cups in the ice cream dish like friendly's does as long as I agreed to pay extra for it, which I did. The ice cream itself was good my only qualm is that it was more chocolately and less peanut buttery. The peanut butter cup made my kilwin's is so delicious, they beat reese's in a heart beat. Kilwins is an institution and I had to come here while I was home again for the holidays. I got several caramel apples and the famous tuttles. Excellent as always. They're always consistent. I can't recommend them enough. They also offer delivery for Ice cream and apples on door dash so that's cool too. I pre-ordered choc covered Strawberries for Monday which they were for Valentine's Day the associate said they would be still fresh for Wednesday. I went to pick them up Tuesday & they were boxed already so I brought them home only to find out that my family said they had mold & white hairs on them I called the store & they said it was my fault cause I didn't pick them up on Monday. When I went to the store that evening the manger asked for a receipt which I didn't have so she weighed them & of course it wasn't nearly what I paid.
