Well, there are a couple of things that I have started to notice in hotels as I have been making my way around Europe - wifi and the number of power sockets in the room (which is useful when you have a number of devices that you need to recharge). Anyway this hotel also has some apartments, which they ended up letting us stay in at no extra cost (which was quite handy). The apartments are actually quite spacious and include a full compliment of cutlery, which is useful when you don't want to go and actually pay for the buffet breakfast. Also being in the heart of Bruxelles makes getting to the sites quite easy, and there are also a decent number of restaurants and bars within a short walk of each other. Okay, the breakfast is rather pricey, but then again, as I mentioned, there are heaps of places nearby where you can grab something (particularly whaffles, and coffee - in fact there is an awesome coffee joint just across the road). read more
