**update! A comment was posted by the owner. I assure you I was in the right place. I was massaged in a room included in your photos. I walked past your foot massage area. There is no confusion! This place is shady! Avoid it! Avoid this place! I rarely write strong native reviews but this place is what they are reserved for! I was driving by and saw a large sign 1 hour massage for $40. I decided that my aching back needed the massage at that price. The layout was very odd but I gave it a chance. During my massage several things happened that I was not ok with. 1. During my massage with no explanation a new person walked in and took over massage. My issue was with the fact that the person left the door open while I was nearly un-dressed on the table. I was starting to go into my zen state when again this happened. I had to finally say please keep the door closed. There was no respect for privacy at all and it made me uncomfortable to have different people coming in and out of my massage room. 2. When I entered I was escorted to my room. Again the layout was strange. During my massage there was a fairly loud tv playing in a language other than English. I honestly at first thought it was people talking. When my massage was complete I exited a different way and there were young women draped on a couch watching the tv that I heard. These women either worked there or were family members of the employees. It was definitely not professional and not the kind of environment one looks forward to visiting. 3. My experience ended when I went to pay. I was told it was $50 not $40 because they used a table. This was the first time this was told to me. Although the actual massage felt good I was not relaxed at all because of the things described above. I decided with the $10 add on that I was charged I would only tip $5.00. I am usually a good tipper but I was really not happy. I started to leave when the girl at the register pointed to a sign on the counter. I was looking for a place where I could have both a foot massage and get some body work for my aching back. H A Foot Spa on Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, advertised that combination for a 90 minute session at a reasonable price. Website photos showed a room with large recliners used for leaning back with feet in a bucket of herbed hot water, so it seemed they knew what to do. Well, not exactly. My private room was well appointed, and the masseuse pleasant, but she wasn't very skilled in Chinese massage. I asked for a strong technique, but she couldn't do it. Little pushing, digging nor probing with hands, elbows nor forearms. Little stretching of my limbs. On the other hand she did use hot rocks on my shoulders and lumbar, and hot towels after oiling my back and legs. It wasn't bad, but more strength as requested would have been better. The bigger problem was that I must have misunderstood what they meant by combo foot and body work. Many past experiences provided 30 minutes off the table and in a recliner with foot bath and heavy hands on feet. Disappointed that never happened. In place of a real foot spa exercise, I remained on the table and was given a weak massage for about 20 minutes. A real foot massage is strong, digging and often a little painful. This was far from that. This felt more like going through the motions. I will return to my regular foot spa down on Bustleton Avenue next time. They only offer chair massage as part of the hour, but they are expert in what they do. read more

UPDATE: The last time I went here it was amazing and I told everyone! I have been back several times. Never had I needed an appointment though I still called twice to make one until they told me I didn't need one anymore. Today I showed up, as they told me to do, to celebrate my 4 year anniversary and was turned away. It was embarrassing and completely rude. Loyalty and spreading the good word about this place has done nothing but make them too busy to remember the people that supported them in the beginning. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed and now will not be back and will tell the people I sent there in the beginning about this mistreatment. Very sad. I completely loved this place! I first purchased a groupon and then read the reviews and became very nervous. Nerves aside, I absolutely loved the massage and reflexology. Due to the language barrier I don't know what to ask for again as it wasn't like the deep tissue massages I normally have gotten in the past from other places. At the end I tried to tell them that I really enjoyed it and want to come back, and tried to find out what to ask for to get a massage just like that next time, and they simply said ask for reflexology. I plan on doing just that and on bringing a friend with my to enjoy it too! Hopefully it's just as blissful. I have never been more relaxed after receiving a massage! Definitely loved the pressure point work and reflexology! read more

Since I have frequented this place as often as once a week (until recently), and also tip the help extremely well, my friends purchased a gift certificate here for me for $100. When a gift certificate is purchased, a record is made of the purchase. Even though I know the exact day the purchase was made, and they clearly keep records of the gift certificates, the business owner would not help me when I told him that it was accidentally thrown out by one of my children or cleaning lady. He claimed that "he can't be sure whether somebody else used the gift certificate already. I explained this would be extremely unlikely since someone would have had to go through my trash to get it. Despite my repeat patronage of this location as a customer... I will NEVER come here again as the owner was not willing to make any kind of accommodation even though I am a regular customer. Be wary of this place!!! Any other business owner would stand behind this situation and make at least some level of accommodation especially with a frequent repeat customer!!! I also want to add that 3 times in the last two weeks when I've come to the location to try to deal with the situation, the place was not open during hours listed on the door. I left several messages at the customer service number posted on the door and did not receive a callback. My friend who purchased the gift certificate also called and asked for the manager to call her back on numerous occasions to discuss the situation... No return call. This is how they run this business.....There are several other local locations that offer these services that treat their customers with more respect and appreciation.!!! I have sent numerous friends here on my recommendation. I will tell them of my experience as well!!!! read more

Such a great deal! The foot massage was heavenly, so peaceful and relaxing. The pressure was perfect, hard enough to release each tense part of your body without being uncomfortable. However my friend's experience was compromised because they answered the phone during her massage. Otherwise it was amazing! read more

Horrible customer service! Had the nerve to yell at me for not leaving a tip on my first massage. Never once was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. The fact that it was demanded instead of asked really was a disgrace. I will never ever use this facility again and i would not recommend to anyone! read more

I hesitate to write a review because I want to keep it my little secret. I absolutely love this place! It's a simple, no frills environment but that doesn't matter. The chairs are amazing and the dark space is so relaxing. The foot massage is deep and thorough. The only negative is when the phone rings it's disruptive. This is my favorite local place for massages! I have chronic neck and shoulder pain from a car accident, but after my first massage, I left completely feeling loose and relaxed. I've had massages at least once monthly for the last 15 years. This has included massages at 5 star resorts, top notch spas, etc. When my parents recommended this to me, I was hesitant at first. However, believe it or not, this place is one of my favorites. I highly recommend the foot massage, as it transforms into a back massage during the last 15 minutes, so you walk out feeling amazing. The massage was alright, though the lady's kid did come down to ask her something, no longer relaxing, very uncomfortable, very awkward. Tipping is mandatory and they will not let you leave until you tip the correct amount. The signs say that a tip is "strongly encouraged", but it is required and it has to be the amount they list. Why not just make the service that much to begin with? I did not appreciate being yelled at for a tip and will not be returning. read more
