I visited this store last week to buy men's skincare products and also to get something for my girlfriend. The staff recommended a product called "Le Blen" for my girlfriend. However, I later found out that this product has been exposed in multiple Korean newspapers as a fraudulent item. It has been falsely advertised, claiming to have FDA approval when it does not. It's shocking not only that this store sells such a product but also that they would recommend it to customers. I strongly advise others to avoid purchasing or using this product to prevent falling victim to this scam. I've attached photos as evidence. read more

I have passed by this little skincare store on my way to California Market countless times. I always peek in, but in general prefer to get my K-Beauty items at Fruit+Candy because of their great prices and friendly service. However, when I walked passed, I saw they had 3CE products! I've been dying to try these and have never found them in all my Asian Boutique Pop-Ins from K-Town, SGV and Irvine. I hate to shop online (Even now) and so I promptly ran in and saw they had quite a few items from the line... Blush, Liquid Lipstick (Which I did find at Make Asobi once and I love!) and most importantly their Palettes and even trio singles! Now, their prices are much higher than the Stylenanda site, but again, I prefer to shop in person and support a local business. You think it's depressing now... once we get out of it and all we have to show for it is empty store fronts in our neighborhoods... THAT is depressing... The items were brand brand new and authentic. I'm so glad I got to try this brand after so long. I now get the hype. read more

If you don't speak Korean, do NOT come here! A Korean female in her 30's (my receipt shows that her name is June) helped me but more like saying really rude and condescending remarks like "Wow, your face has a lot of trouble!" Or "So much pores!" I'm not sure if these remarks are targeted to make customers feel insecure about their skin so they purchase more products?! Anyways, perhaps in Korean culture, it's normalized to insult customers to their face and make unsolicited remarks? But definitely ruined my day and I was shocked as to how insensitive and harsh this worker is! There are plentiful of cosmetic/skincare stores in the vicinity of like 2 miles so save yourself the sad and humiliating experience and go support a different business that treats customers with some semblance of respect. This place is a rip off and the employees don't even know their products and prices. The owner and his employee helped me with a product (eye brow pencil) to be exact! They quoted me a $8 and charged me double. I realized it when I got home and checked the receipt. When I called them to let them know, they told me it was $15.99... then changed it to $17.99. I just didn't want to waste my time dealing with these lying business owners because I have better things to do with my time! Never EVER shopping there again and wouldn't recommend to anyone! BEWARE. Make sure you look at what you're being charged because the sticker price on the shelf is not what they charge at the register. When disputed they said the shelf price was the "old price" and some of the prices were almost 50% if not more than the price on the shelf. The joy of coming to a physical store to look at pretty display highlighting a whole line of Donginbi prompts me to pay a visit here. Temperature is right, the lightings is defined, a hint of scents plus a warm welcome as I walking into the store. I was lucky enough to get invited to 正官莊 spa in Seoul to experience the whole body, hair, scalp and skincare line. Their hospitality stays in my heart always and I'm not surprised it got carried over to Donginbi. My favorites are Donginbi Ginseng oil cleanser! Warm to the face, releasing a soft ginseng scent while you gently swipe it across your face melting off the foundation, even eyeliner and mascara. It doesn't sting nor cloud your eyes. Rinse your face with warm water to emulsify the oil. Followed by their cleansing foam. After merely 2 months, my closed acne on my chin and neck areas are gone and rarely pay a visit. There is a novelty about physical skincare store. You can try, smell, interact and ask question. Not to worry about if your online products are authentic or fresh. Or they have been left outside in the sun by the brown truck. Or worst, your boyfriend or hubby gets home first and sees yet another online purchase you made. Lol read more

I came looking for sunscreen 10 minutes from closing (Sorry!) but employees were helpful without rushing me or being too pushy.
