Adorable! Lots of cutesy, home and beauty supplies here Korean style. What entices me the most is the packaging of most items - they have a cute face on them making me feel like a kid all over again. However, the merchandise is a bit pricey so be picky if you're on a budget. And do your research if you're looking for that perfect Korean supply. Staff is helpful as I picked out a skin cream and am satisfied with it. Also purchased were cookies and candies which you can't go wrong with. A perfect novelty shop if you shop outside K-town. Being and impress your friends! Enter in the inner courtyard of Chapman Market.

Stopped by here to check out the venting machine section and it's cute but the collection is just ok. But it's a cute place to get a taste of what you can experience in Asia. They have a lot of make up and skin care and hair care from japan and Korea. I didn't check the price (hope it's reasonable!) the staff here is sweet! Parking is limited and have to pay through app if you don't have cash.

Korean skin care and toys for everyone in your life. We brought my granddaughter and she went crazy in the store. As did I. So much fun.

Small shop with lots of gachapons to play. We walked in to spot some of our favorite anime/manga and movie/TV show fingerines. Very cute and great souvenir shop. Lots of options for anyone to find something they would love.

A pretty solid place to get skincare in Ktown! if you're near Chapman Plaza, I definitely recommend checking it out. They had all the popular brands that many of my friends and influencers use. Face masks, body wash, eye cream, serums, etc. They also had snacks and gifts for sale! They are open pretty late, so it's a nice stop before or after dinner. Lots of restaurants and crowds in the area.

Super fun store with lots of goodies: cosmetics for men and women, snacks and candies... excellent spot to browse around before or after your meal in nearby restaurants. Prices are very good too, and service is friendly and helpful.

Shibuyala has a decent selection of cosmetic products, but unfortunately, I found the prices to be significantly overpriced compared to other stores in the area. While the variety is nice, it's hard to justify spending more when there are other spots that offer better value. Parking was also a hassle--unless you want to pay $20 for parking, it's not very convenient. I went with a group of friends, and only one of us ended up buying something. It's a good place for browsing, and the plaza it's in is super cute, but I'd recommend shopping elsewhere for a better deal.

Cool place with best Japanese beauty products. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help with their products. There's a lot in this little store.

I was so excited to walk into this Japanese store but I was disappointed when I saw the lack of products on the shelves. The customer service was non-existent, seemed like the workers tried avoiding any eye contact just in case we had an questions. LOL The prices are absolutely crazy must be due to the imports. No snacks, nothing fun here. I would pass...

I found this place by total mistake. I knew there was another location that carried Korean brand products for skin care. I just didn't know it was located here. The parking might be an issue but I had valeted because I we came to eat next door. The sales girlies are super helpful and nice. 10/10 recommend

Nice staff. Cool place for all things asian makeup and skincare, but the place itself is not as spacious as the other shibuyala locations.

The shop itself is on the smaller side, but they really pack a lot into the space. They carry a little bit of everything from snacks and blind boxes to household items and stationery. There's also a huge selection of Sanrio and anime merchandise, so it's a great place to find cute collectibles or small gifts. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking for something fun for someone else, chances are you'll walk out with something. The staff has always been friendly during my visits, and while the store can get pretty busy at times, the overall experience is still enjoyable. Prices are fairly decent for the area which is definitely a plus. If you happen to be in Little Tokyo and enjoy browsing cute or quirky shops, I'd definitely recommend stopping by--it's worth the visit!

The first thing I want to bring to your attention is HOW MUCH BLIND BOXES there are of various kinds. You've got some for newer popular anime series to older classic favorites, to several miscellaneous but ultra cute original characters (I'm looking at you, Baby3)! Watch out for end of season sales, although I'm not sure how often these happen, but I was in for a treat the last time I visited in mid-February. They had up to 50% off on select items, and they did not disappoint! One final piece of advice, other than if you're trying to avoid the crowd to arrive at opening hours and avoid the lunchtime, is to BYOB! This means bring your own bag (not booze)! Trust me, you'll wanna thank me later. :) I do recommend a bigger tote bag if you have one at home. The store does provide you with bags, but when your haul gets big/heavy, a nice tote will make carrying all those blind boxes A LOT easier. I went to 3 other merchandise stores including a Final Fantasy popup and ended up chucking everything in my one medium to large canvas tote. My palms thanked me for it. I'll include a picture of next haul since I wrote this review later than intended. Happy shopping!

We were interested in stopping because it was our first time there and wanted to see it, however, we only had approximately one hour to explore. The shopping center wasn't too busy yet since it was so early, but also most all of the stores were closed as well. We did not get the complete experience of everything that this mall offers. A couple of bakeries were open when we visited and I am glad that we stopped! They allowed us to get some sweet treats and pastries, and they actually became one of the highlights of our trip to Little Tokyo! Although some of the stores weren't opened yet, it was great just to explore the area! All of the storefronts at the mall and surrounding Plaza were decorated for the holiday season. This brought an extra layer of charm to the shopping trip and helped create a cozy, festive ambiance! The quietness of the early morning hours created a amazing environment for us to walk through and enjoy our short little excursion to this beautiful shopping center! Although my visit was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would love to go back again, but next time during afternoon or evening hours when all the shops are open so I can finally see everything the Little Tokyo Mall has to offer!

I've seen Anime Jungle evolve and take over the entirety of the underground mall area. RIP to Fairytale Boutique, Fickle Wish, Xenon, and the day and age where Anime Jungle had their own dedicated shop for visual kei and J-rock. Never forget what you've lost. Other businesses have come and gone, like the mochi ice cream place. If you ever get mochi ice cream at the supermarket, it's likely from them and the macaron place that I loved, but alas, tis the world we live in. Other than the Anime Jungle that I go to and Little Akihabara LA for their pop ups and events, I also go to Monkey Pants, sometimes I swing into the Sanrio shop (they usually do the character meet and greets here, if not at JapanLA or somewhere egregiously far), Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle (they got staff POSTED there due to the thefts I'm sure, but I've gotten my bearded dragon keychain here and now I have them in all sizes), Catch (located on the 3rd floor and is MASSIVE for blind boxes and other goods), Neko Stop (I've gotten better deals here than the location in the Santa Anita Mall), and I've stopped in the Nijiya when I've been trapped there to get snacks or some bottled tea. Love the bakery there and the meat buns that they have (despite prices constantly rising due to the capitalist hellscape we live in) and the cafe to get affordable savory dango and takoyaki. The okonomiyaki place is one of the best, if not only places to get okonomiyaki at a place dedicated to the dish. Once in awhile they do a collab with multiple restaurants, not just at the mall too, such as Silent Hill F, Reincarnated into a Slime, during AX, Arknights, etc. Really drives the crowds and businesses here which is nice. Parking at the structure is a bit pricy and can get super fisted with bad drivers though, so keep that in mind.
