I had my thick sweater over my nose as a mask and the manager, an older/middle aged woman with dark hair comes up to me and my baby and asks rudely where my mask was as if I were a child who needed scolding. I was wearing a mask it was just attached to my shirt. It fully covered my face/nose and covered much more than a paper mask would have covered anyway. I told her I had one on and she said, in a disgusted tone, that was unacceptable. Then she rushes over to the girl at the cash register to talk about me and didn't realize I was walking up behind her. she couldn't even wait until I left! I confronted her and told her this was a mask and you probably shouldn't be talking about your customers at least while they are still in the store, before she rudely yelled that I needed a daintier mask. The girl at the cash register even laughed at her a little bit bc she realized how stupid she sounded. I can't believe this manager/owner lady thinks it's ok to treat anyone, much less a paying customer like that. Disgusting. Will not be shopping here again.

Ok, Get this !! I'm…read moretraveling home on my wedding anniversary. Due to the weather my connection to Corpus is canceled in Houston so I'm spending the night at the Comfort Inn on JFK. At five minutes before closing time, my wife apparently calls JFK Liquor (long distance) and asks for a favor. Since I'm going to be stuck there for our Anniversary she asks them to deliver a bottle of my favorite bourbon to the hotel. They not only delivered the bourbon, they decorated the bag and had it there before I checked in. You can't find service like this anymore. These people really care about their customers. We quickly picked up a few bottles of wine and now we're at the checkout and another rude girl just starts ringing everything up without even looking at us. She's like a robot and says absolutely nothing...no greeting, no happy holidays, not even a thank you when we leave...nothing. Just a frown. I dunno who trains these dummies, obviously noone or maybe another dummy. But I plan to take my business elsewhere and so should you, somewhere where I am treated with some kindness and respect. Have you ever been to Chick-fil-A? You will get better treatment at a drive-thru than this place. No need to put up with some grouchy, rude, unfriendly, rotten angry girls who are clearly in the wrong line of work! Put these dummies in the back stockroom and keep them away from customers!
