Let me start by saying: don't look any further--hire Hylary and her team! They were absolutely incredible to work with while I planned my destination wedding. From our very first phone call, Hylary understood my vision, made me feel completely at ease, and was incredibly flexible throughout the entire process. She is so personable and genuinely cares, which made an otherwise stressful experience feel calm and enjoyable. Her arrangements were beyond beautiful--I truly wish I had thanked her and her team even more. While I was getting my hair and makeup done, my makeup artist even pointed out how stunning the florals were and commented on how sweet and wonderful the team was. Traveling from Florida for our wedding in Big Sur, I couldn't have asked for a better execution of my vision--she nailed it perfectly. I honestly wanted to cry when it was time to leave the arrangements behind because they were absolutely perfect and I wished I could keep them forever. Hylary and her team are truly the best. H&J Flowers did an amazing job as the florist for our wedding. My wife Carly really enjoyed working with Hylary to bring her vision to life. Hylary was very communicative, helpful, and created beautiful arrangements. Her love for what she does is obvious and working with her was a pleasure. Overall customer service was amazing, and Jacquie was fantastic day-of. So happy we chose them for our most special day.

H&J Flowers were incredible to work with for our October 2025 wedding at Waterfall Lodge and Retreat. Hylary was so kind and so patient with me. I had a vision and at the same time, couldn't really explain my vision and somehow she brought it to life without even myself really knowing what the vision was. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she had multiple calls with me literally so I could ask the same exact questions I had already asked and I was being so indecisive, yet she was so patient and graceful with me. She helped me with budgeting and helped me find areas to cut cost. Then, there was the day of the wedding. It was stunning. It turned out better than I could have ever expected and we got so many compliments on our tables and the florals. Everything felt so seamless and all of the flowers were repurposed in ways that just felt like it all fit in. My bouquet was beautiful and all of the bridesmaids florals were stunning too. We absolutely loved working with Hylary and her team for our once in a lifetime day. We got married at Nestldown on 10/18/25. The process from start to finish was so enjoyable, fun, easy and it's all thanks to Hylary. We received so many compliments from our guest for how stunning everything turned out. The barn was transformed, it was so warm and inviting with all of the candles. The ceremony, bridal flowers, welcome sign flowers, queens and round tables, cocktail hour it was all perfect. Hylary and her team went above and beyond and it was all of my Pinterest dreams come true but even better. She really helped translate all of my thoughts and communicated and executed so well. Hylary was by far my husband and my favorite vendor to work with. She was always so responsive in her emails. She understood our vision and was able to provide a mood board for what the candles, layout, type of flowers etc. She provided such great ideas on what it could look like, what combinations of flowers/candles/vases/ she did it all.  We even had a floral trial day. And I am an anxious type A person and Hylary did not have me feeling worried one bit. I had full faith and complete trust that everything was going to turn out stunning. A month out we switched the vision from super fall and orange colors to a more romantic timeless fall look. I could not be happier with the outcome. We had our planning call and she didn't make me feel bad at all for completely changing the vision. She made a plan and sent a new mood board and it was so great to see, It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that Hylary and her team knew exactly how to make the day beautiful. Her and her team are so talented and I wish them all the best in all of their future projects. Thank you Hylary and team for making the best day of my life so beautiful.

We worked with H&J Flowers for our wedding at Nestldown in August. Everyone we interacted with from the team was incredibly nice and professional. Hylary was really great during the planning process, and we worked through a few drafts before deciding on a floral plan that would look great but still fit our budget. On our wedding day, the bouquet and centerpieces were lovely with a stunning variety of both flowers and greenery, and the guests couldn't stop talking about how unique it was that the little bud vases came in different shapes. All the bud vases/centerpieces were taken home by the guests at the end of the night!

When I first got engaged, every instagram post I saw from local venues where I was obsessing over the florals turned out to be creations from H & J Flowers! So before I even had a venue, I reached out to Hylary and told her I HAD to have her and her team as my florists! From the first phone call Hylary was a dream to work with! She even helped me find amazing options for different venues at the beginning of my planning journey!! I had told her which wedding on their website portfolio really stood out to me, and she tweaked it based on our conversation to match my style a little closer and to include my favorite flowers (sunflowers) in the centerpieces and bouquets, too! She was so responsive and supportive during all interactions and was flexible with changes that I had to make about a month before the big day! We had a micro wedding for our day, so the florals had to be delivered to the hotel instead of the venue per our venue contract which they were happy to accommodate! When I tell you my jaw was on the floor when I saw my bridal bouquet, it would be an understatement. H & J Flowers created masterpieces that were beyond what I could have ever imagined. My bouquet was STUNNING and was exactly what every bride dreams to hold on their special day. The centerpieces were amazingly gorgeous and complimented the venue seamlessly. And the corsages and boutonnières were high quality and simply perfect. We are so thankful to Hylary, Jason, Jacquie, and the rest of the team for bringing so much beauty and magic to our wedding day! I wish I could have kept all of the florals forever, but I'll settle for having my bouquet pressed so it will last a lifetime.

Such an amazing team to work with! Hylary was always so quick to reply to all of my emails throughout the planning process and made my wedding flowers better than I could've imagined! I love dahlias and was worried I wouldn't be able to get them for my wedding due the season, but they made it happen! Can't say enough good things about this team. I'm so glad I chose them to be a part of my wedding day!

I just returned from my son's wedding in Monterey, and was privileged to see all the hard work that goes into an A+ event. I had to come and go to the venue for hair and makeup, and I got to see Hylary and her crew happily transforming a lawn area into an outside wedding venue suitable for pictures. So I took pictures while they set-up... then as the photographer was taking pictures, I watched her crew again come and take the flowers to the inside where they decorated the tables. I asked her if I could take some to my moms grave... and she literally found me at the end of the event (we closed down the place, so it was a long day for them!) and gave me a bouquet... then the next morning for brunch the flowers were used again at another venue, making it all tie together soo beautifully. I don't know how they found this florist, but they did a spectacular job!

This team was amazing! I reached out to Hylary and we made an appointment to chat. I shared with her my pinterest board and she made my ideas come to life! She understood the direction I was going with the decor and I was able to combine two themes with her help. They also provided voltives and candles! Hylary was very accommodating when I was trying to coordinate with receiving flowers at the hotel and the arrival of the photographers. The photographers requested lay flat flowers which Hylary's team was able to provide. They did a great job when I was changing my request the month prior to the wedding. Hylary made sure to get in touch with us before finalizing everything. I appreciated the detailed contract to help us keep track of our requests. It incudes photos so I know what we were getting! Day of the wedding we were greeted by Jackie and she did an amazing job! All the flower decor was set up and taken down by the team. We LOVED everything! I highly recommend H & J Flowers!

We got married in October 2024 and were so glad that we used H&J Flowers for our event. The flowers were absolutely stunning, with multiple guests complimenting us on the beautiful florals. Hylary was always incredibly friendly and professional in her communications, and she responded very quickly to emails (including making adjustments to proposals same-day!). She had wonderful suggestions for how to repurpose ceremony florals to stay within our budget, and even provided helpful advice about other aspects of the decorations! Overall we had a wonderful experience with H&J Flowers and recommend them highly!

H&J created absolute floral magic for our wedding. They were a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting. It was important to my wife and I to work with vendors that weren't just LGBTQ+ friendly, but were true allies. We loved Hylary's story of starting H&J after doing florals for her sister and sister in law's wedding. We loved how Hylary put the proposal together to allow us to see how best to achieve our floral vision while staying within our budget. H&J were great to communicate with throughout the planning process and flexible with changes we made to the design along the way. As for the actual florals, months after our wedding and we are still completely in awe of how beautiful they were. Our ceremony space was beyond anything we could have imagined and that is hugely because of H&J's gorgeous work! We were also able to take a centerpiece along with us on our honeymoon road trip and it lasted all week long! I also had a flower crown made and it brought my entire bridal look together. I felt like a fairy princess and seeing me with it on for the first time is what made many of my family members emotional. H&J was such a huge part of making our wedding day everything we dreamed of. They are lovely humans that are wonderful to work with and they create absolute art in florals. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

Hylary was my florist for my wedding on March 19th at OVY Camp. From our initial conversation, I knew that she could execute my vision. I ended up purchasing, finding and reusing bottles, vases and votives for my reception tables. Hylary did an amazing job complimenting all the vases with the flowers. Hylary's husband Jason, arranged to pick up some of the vases and bottles ahead of time to prep the flowers and I honestly thought that was a pretty kind gesture to do. Throughout the entire process, I felt like the communication and attention to detail was spot on and extremely helpful. Although, I didn't get to meet with Hylary in person-- I found her to be very honest and really easy to work with. My dad did meet her during the wedding morning and raved about her arrangements and her kind soul!! Hylary did a fantastic job with matching the color palettes of the beautiful redwoods. My husband and I are still in absolute awe of the flower arrangements, gorgeous bouquets, hair piece, stage and fireplace piece. All of our guests commented on how magical the flowers were and we ended up giving some of the arrangements to family/friends. One of my favorite details of the floral arrangements, was the sword ferns. It added a whimsical touch to the already stunning flowers. I ended up bringing some of my flowers home and they lasted about 2 weeks, which I was extremely impressed with. I highly recommend H&J and wish I could give them 1000 stars!!!
