I've been a loyal customer for the past five years and been with the same Nail Tech until recently when the new owners took over. They kept the only two people who previously worked there and most likely because of the established clients. I do not like the constant interruptions by the new owner while I'm receiving a service and the tone he used was unprosessional! They have changed the technology and now ask too many personal information questions. You can't opt out of it. The new owners(wife) sleeps in a pedicure chair or she's on her phone or better yet cooking smelly food in the room not 15 feet from the clients. She also does not speak English and is rude to her spouse and the Techs. The prices have increased and the change in hours is not acceptable . I will not be returning, I will and I'm absolutely positive many will no longer be visiting this Nail Spa in the future. read more

I tried...I was a regular customer of H&L nail spa for years... The quality of work started off passable but quickly descended into unacceptable. Linda refused to listen to me when I showed pictures and described the designs I wanted done on my nails, insisting that she was an artist and a better designer. I disagreed and her decisions often resulted in me going across the street to CVS to buy polish to repaint my nails after her service. In addition to the poor nail shaping and painting, her conversation is ultimately what caused me to walk away. She curses like a sailor, speaks negatively about customers the moment they leave the shop, and has a lot of racist perceptions such as actually believing that black women cannot grow hair. The convenient location kept me coming to this shop from 2016-2018, but I ended up going to a shop 40 minutes away just not to have to deal with this environment. I recently heard that the shop came under new management, so I was hopeful that a better owner/manager would rectify the shop's issues. I visited on Feb 12th and was serviced by Alex (sp?). He was polite, professional, and did an amazing job on my nails. I did notice that Linda was still working in the shop but she was much quieter than I recalled from previous visits. I was willing to give the shop another try until today. I visited the shop today asking for a nail to be removed. I had a very painful break, and am in the process of moving homes... I needed a quick removal today, and planned to come back for a full service when I had more time. Alex asked me what I needed when I came in. I informed him that I needed a nail removed. He responded we're too busy. I said huh? He said can't you see we're too busy. There was one lady waiting and another picking out polishes. This is not quite my definition of busy. Nonetheless, this is not how you respond to a customer. Instead, "there will be a bit of a wait. You could return at 5 PM and we could service you much faster at that time" would have sufficed. Now you have a lost customer and gained a very honest review. There are far better nail salons. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. My mom and I came here for the first time today and both requested dip powder and pedicures. This was by far the worst manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten in my life. One of the men working there did my pedicure and it was HORRIBLE. I got gel polish and the polish was way over my nail and all over my skin on my toes and some of the nails didn't even have polish on the whole thing. The shape was horrible, etc. A different man did my dip manicure, I asked for French. Keep in mind, I've gotten a dip French manicure before and it's never looked this HORRIBLE. I asked him why it looked so wrinkly and he claimed it's "supposed to be like that." OK. After my nails were done, I explained to the man that my toes were in horrible shape and needed to be redone completely, went over to the chair and they were redone even worse than before. So, to conclude my rant, NEVER come to this place. Because even if you don't like how it turns out, you'll still be charged $210!! Very toxic environment and very careless. read more

Seriously. Best exfoliation and massage I've ever had with a pedicure. I live in Raleigh but was in Rolesville for a soccer game and had some time to kill. Wow--am I glad I came here. This is my favorite nail spa in Rolesville. I've been going here for over 2 years and I won't go anywhere else. Linda and Henry are wonderful owners and know how to please their customers. They have great prices and know what they're doing. They do it all from waxing to acrylics to gel. Love them and the atmosphere of their shop! read more

Not walk-in friendly. Never had to wait 15mins just to be SEATED for a pedicure when there were only 3 customers TOTAL in the shop.

Linda is not professional at all. Went to get my eyebrows waxed and she was busy--which is great. However she started working on nails after completing a pedicure. The customer said it's okay to do her brows first. Linda's reply was, "she can wait!" Very unprofessional and I will not be back. read more

It was absolutely terrible!!!! The people were way to talkative and loud and you can literally not relax there. One of the workers curses way to much and there not even nice. Actually there super mean and fight 24/7. They also wasted all of my time and redid it 4 times. Highly recommend not going here but if you dont mid the horrible nail treatment bring earbuds and listen to some relaxing music. Also very expensive. JUST THE WORSE PLACE EVER!!! read more

My friend and I had been going to another nail salon but decided to give this salon a try on the recommendation of a coworker. We both got pedicures and were very happy with the service and results. They saw us right away, as soon as we picked out our color. They did a wonderful and very thorough job on our pedicures, better than our other place we were going to. They had a good selection of colors and brands to pick from. The only thing I wish I could see the names of the colors on the OPI bottles, as I often look for specific colors. I did find what I was looking for in another brand and actually after trying the other brand think I like it just as well or better. The shop was very clean, the furnishings looked nice, up-to-date, and good condition, and they used the plastic liners in the foot spas. The staff was friendly and we felt very comfortable there. The prices were decent with a good selection of services available, including different pedicure choices, manicure choices, acrylic, gel, pink/white gel, as well as a full list of waxing services available.
