I tried to return an item I never wore, and they refused it over a small issue that wasn't my fault. Customer service was friendly when buying, but very unhelpful during the return. Finally a decent store in the mall. This location is pretty big and offers a great selection of clothing and accessories for both genders and infants. This store makes up for all the inconvenient stores that are built within the mall, which I still don't understand why Eastridge prefers to play luck on underground stores rather than well-known brands. Management seems to know what they're doing here as this mall is clean and organized. The staff are very attentive and helpful. One sales associate that stood out to me the most and went out of her way to help me was Jeanna. I wasn't able to find a size for a certain pair of shoes here, but she was able to call other stores to see if the shoes I wanted were in stock. She was very informative and professional in her work. Great training H&M Eastridge! As for everything else, the sales here are great and I can honestly say this is the only most convenient store for me in this mall. read more

Probably my favorite H&M store in the Bay Area! I'm one of their loyal customer who use the "donation and get 15% coupon" every single time. It's a win-win concept for me, I get to recycle my clothes, clear up my wardrobe, and get 15% coupon for my future purchases. Yesterday was my first visit to H&M in Eastridge mall. I was surprised since the store was so clean! The clothes were folded neatly, not any single clothing was lying on the floor. I was greeted by super nice girl, then she helped me the donation process, and she was NOT stingy at all giving out the 15% coupon. Unlike the H&M store in Oakridge mall, they were SUPER stingy about the coupon. The rule is you get two coupons when you donate at least three pieces of clothing. I donat two big bags full with clothes every single time. (Sometimes I even gotta ask for my two coupons, because they would only give me one coupon instead. Jerks!) Went to check out the store on opening day and got some pretty good deals on some dress shirts. A lot people were in here for the one day sale. The line was long, but went buy pretty quick. I love the layout of the store. They even have gender signs on top of the walk way so you know what gender clothes it is. They even had a DJ playing some pretty good music from oldies to now type of music. Its very bright in here with their white LED lights. That can make the store hot. The store is located in the middle of the mall near Starbucks Coffee. You can't miss it! read more

H&M grand opening happen a few months ago I think. The large store located on the bottom floor. The store is so clean and the clothes are so organized. I don't shop H&M as much as Express, but they do have great style of clothes at a cheaper price. Unfortunately, I lost my receipt. I called customer service in the morning. The lady was very nice and helpful. She transferred me to the store manager, Omar. He was able to find my receipt on their record and printed out for me so I could pick it up at the store. He made sure that I would get it by letting me know his hours and if he's not available, another person can assist me. I got to give a thumbs up for their awesome service. Truly made my shopping experiences a lot easier! read more

One of the worse H&M stores compared to the majority of others (really not surprised since it's in Eastridge..). It's definitely 'alright', but tends to be messier and not as well stocked as most that I've been to. Still, it's the only one in a convenient distance to me, so I'll still drop by if I really need to. Never really had any considerable issues, until today... Tried returning a shirt that was too small for me. It was an online order from over a month ago, and I had taken the tag off a while ago and just kinda forgot about the shirt sitting in my room. H&M takes back returns from 30+ days ago and without tags in exchange for store credit for however much the item is priced at now. I knew that, dealt with it before, and never had an issue (at any H&M, even this one). But today, my cashier seemed reluctant to take it and asked the other cashier next to her about it, who loudly said in front of my face "it's obviously been worn, just look at it". Seriously...? Well yeah, I wore it just once to try it on (how else would I know that it's too small). Sorry but nobody told me that I was required to keep it hanged and wrinkle-free. If they had just told me that they couldn't take it back, sure, whatever. But an employee making such a loud and disgusting statement in front of a customer (and many others) is just plain unprofessional. I'm not as offended as I am disgusted. I guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I like going to this H&M, (decently) local and fairly priced! I've been staving off of brands that mass produce clothing (F21) but H&M has been taking small steps towards more ethical choices so I come by and purchase their clothes every once in a while. The clothes here are actually a decent quality and price! I main sweaters and can get them here for $7 cheaper than other places while also getting a good quality. The only problem I have is that the layout of the store changes so often that I can almost guarantee I'll be confused walking around trying to find certain clothes with following trips. The cashier today was nice too! My checkout quick and easy- the person working didn't have a sour attitude/tone and that definitely ended my visit to H&M on a good note! read more

On 9/10 I bought 4 items ( pants) at H&M store in Westfield Oakridge mall. The guy rang the transaction but we wanted to add the fifth item( the belt). He said he will cancel the previous transaction ( cost 78.71$) and charged us 83.08$ for all 5 items. Two days later I saw there are 2 charges on my credit card 78.71$ & 83.08$. I called customer service and was told to go to the store. I went to the store and spoke to JB the manager. He said just wait for 2 days if it is still there come back on either Fri or Sat since he works to get the refund. On Friday. I called around 1:30 pm and spoke to a lady. She said he was not there and she can not tell me if he comes tomorrow due to privacy. I totally understand that but I live 20 min drive away so I need to know some how. I called Customer service again. The gentleman was really nice and helped me out. He put me on hold and talked to the store. He called back said either today or tomorrow I come back Michelle the manager will help me. After work I drove there and only 5 min before getting there I called the store to talk to Michelle. She said No she can not. She said only I can bring stuffs for refund. I tried to explain I don't want to return stuffs. I want to keep them. That is why I was charged for 83.08$. I just want a refund for 78.71$ since it is a duplicate. She said I have to appeal my bank for a refund. I asked if the store employees did the refund/ cancel the transaction correctly or not. If not then how can I ask the bank? She then said I have to wait for JB but she won't tell when he will be there or not. She even said I must have spoke to the guy around 1:30 pm because she just came later and didn't talk to me earlier. I was really disappointed in the customer service. She thought I can not tell the difference between female or male voice on the phone??? JB did offer to help me or gave me some solution while Michelle is also a manager but she didn't give me a solution. She kept saying she is the manager and that is how to do: I have to wait for JB or ask the bank for the refund. So again I just drove home and called customer service and the lady asked me to send an email and the picture of my CORRECT receipt. At the store JB & today Michelle kept asking for the INCORRECT one and I kept explaining the guy didn't give me the receipt of the canceled transaction. Fast forward. Nothing happened so I had to create a case at Wellsfargo bank. Twice - Once in Oct 5 and recently H&M emailed me to say they initiated the refund and it depends on the bank up to 10 days to give me the refund. I waited then forwarded the email to WF dispute center. Recently in Nov WF called me and said they did use that email to sent back to question H&M but H&M people kept saying that is invalid. So no refund. It has been back & forth like that since Sept. WF said they will dispute it with Visa & if nothing works after another 2 months then I will be responsible with the charge. I am very disappointed. I just wonder if at big business chain stores they have no record for a day. They should see the canceled transactions. Usually they do not give the cancellation receipts to the customers. That happened to me. I just know I won't ever shop at H&M anymore even I used to buy clothes for my teen daughter. read more

Never have seen a H and M as big and organized as this one. The fitting room was spacious with plenty of rooms. Reminds me of the inside of Forever21 except classier. The store in organized in an interesting fashion. With hipster type clothing, clothes for going out, and clothes that are just from the mill. Clothes is decently priced. At $10, a pretty blouse costs only so much. Purchased one of the blouses that have a hole that shows off the upper arms. What's special is that like all their other clothing, things are cute, classic, and trendy at the same time. This particular blouse also has drawstring sleeves if that's what you call them. Would love to check this place out again. Large selection. Affordable cost. Attentive employees. read more

Okay here it goes. I wasn't going to leave a bad review but I have such a good experience with the H&M store in Santana Row that it's not fair to just let it slide. So I needed to return an online order, came to this store first, the register clerk told me system was down and she called for a different person to help, who I think must have been in a managing position, he told me I had to return by mail. Not gonna lie, I was pretty annoyed, but I knew it wasn't their fault. A few days later, I came to the one in Santana Row due to having an errand nearby. The register told me system was still down, BUT, she manually entered in information that I pulled put from my email regarding the order and manually refunded my account. We both talked about why H&M in Eastridge wouldn't have considered doing this, laziness? Not liking me as a customer? Not wanting to help? In any case, they really disappointed me. Love the new store and attended the grand opening! It is on the lower level, below Forever 21 and in the heart of the mall. This means that it is easy to access whether you are entering from the Barnes and Noble side or Macy's. This will be my favorite H&M because the ease to get to. There is a ramp for wheelchair or stroller access as an alternative to the short stairs. There are 2 entrances to the store - a front and side by the men's section. It is a large store and includes a good size kids section. The lines for opening day were so long! I spent more time in line. The dj was really good which helped passed the time. There were many buy 2 get 1 free deals and other "opening" deals. I wasn't planning to buy anything and ended up with 16 items! Jewelry, kids clothes, and a few work shirts. read more

The cashier was super rude. He would not return my clothes because he said they were worn! It was such a rude accusation! I was shocked. He said it with so much disgust as he handled my the still new clothes. They still had tags on them! I told him they weren't worn but he wouldn't take them back! I'll never go back. I took them back to the H & M in the Great Mall where they took back the new clothes without hesitation! I wish I had gotten the rude cashiers name! I'm giving 1 star due to their Customer Service. You guys work for H&M, as a manager representative for the brand at this location, you guys need to fix your word choices when facing a customer complaint. It doesn't matter the problems comes from you guys or online store. Instead giving the customer vague answer and said it's not your fault, it's better to explain clearly to help them understand better. It's kinda rude on the manager's words and attitudes. Normally I don't get mad at little things but since I had very limited time due to traveling, this store disappointed me. The store is beautiful and very clean and has a great selection of clothes compared to the great mall location. However after purchasing some things I thought I was good to go for my trip. But after stopping in Barnes and nobles my bag went off by the security alarm. It turns out that they forgot to take out the security tag. No big deal, it must of just been a mistake. So I go back and they remove it, saying sorry we turned off the sensors at the front door because it was going off like crazy. Once again it's cool. They are a new store and have new employees. I I asked the employee to make sure there was no other tags on my clothing and they said I was good to go. However after I am packing and only hours from leaving, I find another security tag. Then another!!!! I will go back but I'll only go once all the employees are properly trained. read more
