This place is NOT the best place to go get an outfit, that is if you dot mind being rushed out by the employees... Or here at 8:30pm and although the sign outside says open until 9pm the two girls working inside where rushing us out of the store by 8:40... Don't exactly know what was up with that? My guess is that they wanted to out and party being a Friday night? But in all honesty very very rude girls working here.. I was especially disappointed when I asked one of the girls (a Cinthia Barrera) if I could try on one jacket and was told "no, I'm sorry, didn't you hear? I made the announcement that were already closed" all the while my sisters in line to buy her clothes, two other women are shopping around, and your 'technically' not supposed to be closed!? It wasn't as if I just walked into a closed store, I was actually shopping around. I don't know what that has to do with using a dressing room but ok.....? I've been shopping at Vivi's for yearsssss..it's a lil pricey and the customer service could definitely be better. But I honestly always find sumthing 4 out of 5 times and for me that's a miracle. I wear a 14/16 jeans and that's never easy to find or I find sum at regular stores and they shrink or I get fatter or both. The clearance racks always have sum good finds as well! read more

If I could give no stars.... I would! The clothes are Ok. It's a hit or miss. But the problem is the employees just RUDE! Worst customer service ever! & don't expect it to get any better because even the owner had bad customer service & so much attitude. SADLY. Mind you I have never been into an altercation with any of them but I've seen plenty & when I have given them a "Hi" it's either nothing in return or a fake smile. This review is based solely on the service at this establishment. I'm born and raised in east side San Jose so I'm used to the dirty shady behavior and scenery that can be found here, but this place takes the cake in poor service. Came a Friday night and the girls working here were rushing ppl out and even locked the doors early so more could not come in. The girls even closed down the fitting rooms early so no one could try anything on. These two were literally driving business away- mind you the place was supposed to be open for another 40 min because they close at 9pm on Fridays. I like this store because they offer really cute styles of clothes. Since it is based off Asian sizes, if you are a normal person, you can shop here and not at the Jr. size 0 store. My only beef with this place is that they charge a lot for their clothes. Can't just go wild buying stuff, I have to be careful. I am so disappointed in the level of customer service this establishment has displayed. The young lady at the counter was sweet but the OWNER was terrible. I wanted to purchase a really cute romper but it was missing the back string. They had one more romper in a bigger size. Instead of making the sale the OWNER told me "sorry it doesn't have it" and did not give me the option to pull the string from the larger size. I have worked in retail management for many years and he could have easily swapped out the STRING in order to make the sale. He was rude and lacked any customer service skills. The sign out front says "Ella", but it's the same exact merchandise as Vivi on Capitol. Anyhow, this is my go-to spot for when I'm looking for a super cheap and specific piece. The clothes are low quality but cute for the season. The only complaint I have is that when there's a long line of customers with tons of stuff to purchase, they won't open another register... I'm pretty impatient, and cheap clothes aren't really worth it sometimes... My bad! I can easily say this is my favorite place to buy jeans I'm a size 16 or 18; I've got really wide hips and butt. And they always have nice quality clothes for the season. I regularly come here and buy outfits if I'm going out and I want new clothes. The sweaters are really comfy and fluffy. And the jeans so soft and good material. I also like to shave my facial peach fuzz and they have these cute little razors when you check out. read more

Keep your receipt... Annoyed that I purchased pants just a day before and when I went to exchange them for another size still new with all tags on them I was refused an exchange without the receipt. The manager didn't want to come out from the back. Nordstroms won't even hassel you on returning items. How hard is it to do an even exchange? Not pleased with this rinky dink place. I like this place. They have really cute clothes for people on a budget. The clothes are cheap but what do you expect for 20$? Some items have lasted over a year, surprisingly! I only come here when I am in desperate need. This is literally my last option. First of all the employees here are HORRIBLE no one even greets you here or asks you if you need help. They ignore you the whole time you are shopping and it's all so uncomfortable. went there for the 1st time last week and asked cashier what the return policy is she says that I have 30 days to get a store credit only and the tags have to stay on the item .. I went in earlier this week to exchange the size on a dress (tags on it and I had my receipt ) and I was told that they could not exchange because it was a clearance item and that it says that on their receipt (I commented that I had no reason to read it being as I asked the cashier the policy before I bought it ) the girl I was speaking with told me I would have to come back when the manager is in and I told her that I WONT BE COMING BACK AND THAT SHE CAN KEEP THE DRESS WITH THE TAGS ON IT AND THE RECEIPT .. I will never go back to this store PERIOD .. So my loss the stores gain maybe they can make somemore money from another ill advised customer on the dress that I paid for and left ... read more
