Three words: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. My son is getting married and because of the diverse locations of…read morethe ushers, my son thought that everyone could find a local Men's Wearhouse and get it locally. So I went to this location. The young man who measured me was very polite and professional (maybe, I'll never know if he screwed this up). All I know is that when I went to pick up the tux, I was shocked. First of all, I thought the tux smelled funny. It was only after I got into the fitting room that I realized that the guy helping me was the one who smelled funny. Holy Cow, if you work in a tuxedo shop, use some deodorant! I try on the shirt and the sleeves are 2 inches too short. He blames the guy who measured me. Who cares, just fix it. The jacket goes on next, too short again. I mean why spend 20 minutes trying on sizes if you can't get it right? So smelly guy measures the sleeves, marks them for adjustment and tells me everything will be ready Saturday morning. While taking off the pants, I look at the cuffs and see that despite being hemmed, they were never pressed. I tell them to make sure they get pressed before I pick them up. Last night (still before the wedding), I go to a little family get together and hear how my son-in-laws tuxedo's pants were 3 inches too short (a different location in a different state). Note to George Zimmer: stop doing commercials and start finding out what's wrong in your stores. I DID NOT "like the way I look".

I will leave to each of the groomsmen to decide if they want to post a review on their respective location. I will just address my experience with the MW at the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights, NY. My first visit went well. There were 3 staff members working this particular Saturday, one being a supervisor, and they provided good service in helping me select the style and accessories. I registered the wedding party and that all went well. I returned 3 weeks before my wedding for a fitting. It was a week night and there was only one associate working and I was the only customer. This associate was handling his personal emails and was bothered that I interrupted his activity. The measurements were quickly and poorly done. I was notified two days before my wedding that my tuxedo was in and went in to make sure it fit. Of course it did not and needed some adjustments, which I was told would be made and ready the next day. All seemed well when I went in the next day, the adjustments were made. Unfortunately, the adjustments were not secure and came undone during the wedding. Quite embarrassing. I highly recommend that you go to a reputable tuxedo rental company instead of using Men's Wearhouse.

With all the reviews mentioning rude service, that wasn't our case. Yes, there were no floor…read moreassociates at this Macy's located inside the Jefferson Mall in Yorktown Hghts- so if you had any questions, you're fending for yourself on this one. Regardless of what is offered- and the little bit that's around, this location is depressing. Quite honestly, this is more about appearances than anything for me. The layout, the empty spots- where even if you've never been here, you'd imagine racks full of clothes PC (Pre-COVID) or before this company started closing some stores- just brought my mood down. I get it, this Macy's is all this neighborhood has and I get it. But we managed to purchase our goods at a good price and headed right on out.

Well, in the many years coming here, which has been a long time, I've never seen it this dead. With…read morethe mall in its condition, in terms of it being in the dying stage (almost becoming a deadmall), it kind of makes sense. The layout of the store looks like didn't get a major renovation, even though it might have gotten a minor. Most of the departments seemed to be in great shape for the most part - not too messy and even well-organized. I'm happy to see it in good shape. Not too many workers were found on the sales floor, which wasn't a big surprise for the most part. With it not being too busy, I can see making that slide. I don't see this Macy's lasting too much longer in how it looks and its foot traffic.

Although they're trying, this mall is on life support…read more It's literally been decades since I've been here and it's sad to see the decline of what it once was. While cosmetically the mall still looks good, you could tell by some of the emptiness, closed stores during busy business hours, and lack of crowds (this was a Saturday I went). With two floors, there are still a few anchor stores that I'm sure do help keep things open and there is a decent variety of shopping options. You have your basic mall fixtures such as Hot Topic and Spencer's and you have Macy's, Dicks, and several clothing options. There are also two gyms. The mall is a little smaller than some area malls, but as mentioned, it cosmetically looks good. They're trying - and I do hope they succeed - in resuscitating this mall to at least closer to how it used to be. Several stores were closed (gates down, but stores looked ready for business) and I'm unsure why. There was a sizable Spirit Halloween open, but that will be closed right after the holiday. The food court lacked options, though there are other eateries spread throughout the mall. Parking is plentiful, so unless it's the holidays, you should have no issues finding a spot. I'm sentimental regarding this mall and hope for the best. A typical mall goer might be fine, but there are those who'd probably be disappointed coming here. It's a good mall for the immediate area, but with a little drive there are other options.
