She sent a text to say O was getting a large refund, however, once I paid I never heard from her again. When I called and sent a text, she was sick or traveling. Always an excuse! I got a large bill rather than a refund. She is irresponsible and unprofessional. Hire someone who respects clients and is honest when handling your money.

We sent her all the figures, letters, everything she was requesting and let her handle it. Feb 2022, I begin getting letters from a tax collection agent. I had an appointment with the agent, and I told him I have an OIC. He asked me for proof. I had none. Soon after, I got a lien letter. I reached out and she called me back and put my mind at ease. Saying they are still feeling the impact of COVID and they haven't gotten to it yet. March 24, 2022, I got a Certified letter from the IRS and called the agent back. He said have her send him proof. At that time I asked her to send us proof as well, she never replied. Nor did she send it to either one of us. March 27th I reach out and ask did she send it to him. She ignored us. April 7th, the agent calls again. I reach out to her again. She calls me back and kept saying it was taking a while for him to see it because the IRS was back logged because of COVID. Finally on July 20th, her employee replied saying Evelyn is backlogged. I told her I can call the IRS and ask them directly but I needed the case/file number that Evelyn got in January. She said she don't have access to it, but she will speak with Evelyn and get it for me. She then replied back saying Evelyn was going to send me everything I needed, either that day or the following day. July 27th, I reached back out. Sydney apologized for the delay and said she would get back to me. Aug 3, 2022, I reached back out. Sydney replied and said she would get with Evelyn and reach back out to me. Keep in mind during this whole month (from our phone conversation in July) Evelyn has still not replied to me. At that time I expressed my concerns to her employee about it taking almost a month, just to give me a file number that they already had and to let me know what needed to be sent to the IRS. It made me question if she really did the OIC we paid her for. We still had no proof, despite asking numerous times. Why can't they provide this file number, that she received in January 2022, if there really is one! Aug 5th, I ask for a refund she says she will see what she can do. I reached back out multiple times since and now no-one is replying to me at all. I decided to call the tax collection agent who was sending us letters. He said there was no OIC and the IRS is going to freeze both my wages and my bank accounts. I reached out to her and her worker and they never replied. I still have no proof. I asked Evelyn and her staff numerous times for a refund, i reached out to BBB and the board of accountancy, she ignored them both. I contacted the FTC as well and she is still ignoring us. I ended up having to use a different tax preparer. My son has a medical disease in which treatment is extremely expensive and is not covered by our insurance. She knows this and still took advantage of my family. She is an unethical liar! Beware of this business. I went to all locations listed for her, and they are padlocked!
