I have come to the conclusion these guys aren't about the speed but more about the convenience so don't expect to be in and out of there in two seconds, also, they offer many chances to upsell stuff to you. While normally that would irritate me, I kind of liked it because they kind of went through all areas of my car and I know what needs to be done in the next couple of months. Overall it was a good experience and I'd go back. Finally, it isn't particularly cheap here either so you do end up paying a premium for the convenience. But I love the convenience of being able to drive in when I choose.

I was then quoted a price for a new tire that was $130 above list price. The long term employees that we all know became uncomfortable and left the room. I instructed them to put the tire back on which they did reluctantly. I then went to another national franchised tire shop near by who said they was no issue with the proximity to the sidewall. I was in and out in 20 minutes and paid $45. I'm guessing that because I showed up with a new European vehicle they figured I was easy meat. Not the same Coast Tire for reasons you can guess.
