This place has serious issues with pricing transparency and customer treatment. I agreed to a verbal price for a bracelet repair and cleaning. When I received the receipt, the total was $5 higher than what was discussed. When I asked about the increase, the owner responded aggressively and said it was "tax," even though tax was never mentioned beforehand and prices were not posted. I stated that the pricing felt unfair and decided to leave. As I was exiting, an employee followed me out, physically shoved me out the door, and continued yelling profanities and insulting me in public. The situation escalated unnecessarily and was humiliating. Disagreements over pricing happen, but no customer should ever be threatened, followed, or touched. I know this is a small jewelry shop and I didn't expect 5 star service as I was just picking up an order for my niece but come on. A simple greeting or "I'll be right with you" goes a long way. First I was standing at the front door blocked in by the security gate. You can clearly see me im a big girl. No one let me in until someone outside of the store told me that I have to yell at them to open the door. After coming in I stood behind 4 other customers that was being helped. No one acknowledged me or told me I would be helped soon. One of the guys finally asked me if I needed help. I told him I was just picking up a order for my niece. He gave me the order and I paid with a credit card. After I paid I was waiting for a receipt. I assumed he was grabbing it because after I paid he didn't say anything. No thank you. No have a nice day. Nothing. After about 5min of him walking around behind the counter I asked him if I was going to get a receipt. He said oh yeah no problem. I left and will never go back. I came in and dealt with LACE, I brought a piece of jewelry that I wanted extended to this location, on the 19th I ONLY did the service with this jeweler because he promised he would have it done by Saturday / Sunday morning the latest , as I needed it before I left the country on the night of the 22nd. I payed the $100 deposit, and $200 on Zelle on the 21st when he said it was done, after I payed the $200 he stopped responding after I called and texted tons of times. And I did not receive my piece before I left the country. It's been one week later and LACE, nor the shop hasn't reached out and said ANYTHING I did receive the peice today after going in the shop, where a lady gave it to me and apologized for Lace's service . but it did not even matter anymore as I needed to give it to somebody in the other country. This family business is very racist towards black people. I came in to ask for a specific type of chain, sadly they didn't but wanted to browse for something else, the lady who worked there just kept following me around and just got in front of me and said "Well? What you want?" in a rude tone. The son ended up helping me with my questions and still got a couple silver chains but had to have the lady to be the cashier. Quoted 1,500 for a platinum ring. Paid the full 1,500 and told Michael would follow up. After months of being ignored and put off or my calls put on hold I showed up to ask about it in person and was told it would be 2,000 instead. Michael refused to refund the 1,500 that was already paid and told me he would check his catalogue and call me. After once again getting no followup for a week or so I contact them again and I am told I wont be refunded and my only option is to pay 500 more or get something else. I am contacting lawyers. I came here to have a watch repaired for my son. It was his father's who passed away before he was born. I was told the parts were  on back order due to covid. I was told as soon as the parts came in they would start the work and call me once the watch was fixed and polished.  They didn't have an estimated time because of how things were going surrounding covid. Mike the owner is one of the most honest and promising guys... He did not fail to deliver what I feel like was most deserved. I paid a huge amount of money of a chain and pendant but it was a small price to pay compared to his competitors. I am very happy with the quality of gold and diamonds. I have been buying jeweler from the competitors for years but NOT ANYMORE It did take almost 2 weeks before the job was complete but boy am I satisified. For the fraction of the price I have a beautiful custom pendant and chain done. Maybe 7-10 years ago they were good but unfortunately I agree with all the others that gave one star they are just money hungry. I took a ring to get fixed it had an initial on the ring that was falling off, they told me it just needed 3 spots sautered and to come back in a week. When I came back the mother took my cash and as I took the ring out of the envelope it didn't have an initial anymore...when I asked where the initial was that was supposed to be fixed they told me I told them to remove it... and when I showed them the envelope in their writing that said fix they said it would be fixed and to come back tomorrow, on my return it looked nothing like it did to begin with and they never found the original initial. So when I asked for a refund of the $20 to fix it they refused saying they fixed it but I said ya after you ruined it and I shouldn't have to pay for something you ruined. So instead of making a customer happy and refunding the money they refused. I will never go back and encourage all who read this to stay away...please take your money else where. read more

They're over a weekend and I was told to come pick it up on that Tuesday. However, when I got there on that Tuesday, I was told that the store has been robbed and to come back so they can see if my jewelry was among the taken items. When I got there I was told that they had to replace my jewelry and I was told that I was given three white gold necklaces in exchange for the necklaces I had along with a gold and white gold tennis bracelet. The only thing I got that was of real value was the gold tennis bracelet everything else they gave me was silver and did not tell me it was silver. I would recommend going to a more upscale jeweler just pay the extra money because you will get better customer service . I was not willing to argue with the owners, so I just took the jewelry and additionally I had a ring that was there. It took them two days to find the rain. Went and bought 2 chains, a custom name pendant and a Buddha pendant, and countless nugget earrings for my son and god son. The sealant on the Buddha Jade dis attached from the gold. The pendant alone was $300 and the chain was $480. I've only had the necklace for a couple months so I took it back and asked if he could fix it. The owner tried to CHARGE me because he said "a repair is a repair no matter when you purchased it". I hadn't even had it long enough for it to have wear and tear on it and it was never worn in the shower. I have lots of other jewelry both real and fake, the pendants are still in tact and in place. The pair of nuggets that I bought for my god son were a flop as well... never had a problem with any of the 6 pairs I bought previously and I literally had to argue the man down in front of FUTURE customers in order to get an exchange. It wasn't that serious to put up a fight with a customer who never give you problems, never talks your prices down, and always returns.
