I walked in to HD Nails For You after a long day of work and in need of a little pampering. I chose the Deluxe pedicure for $40 with French tips for an extra $5. At other places the massage always lasts less than I want, but I was blown away at the service here! I got in at a good time: Wednesday around 4:30 and maybe had to wait 5 minutes to be seated in a chair with warm water. The man who did my pedicure was amazing and actually listened to what I wanted instead of doing what he thought I wanted. Talk to them and tell them what you want and you won't be disappointed! PS: They have an instrument sterilizer in house for their instruments and a large flat screen tv showing Hallmark Christmas Movies. read more

Thrilled that I finally found a salon that does a fabulous, I dare say, perfect job on my nails and they did not even grind my natural nails with a drill to sand the surface down before applying the gel polish. All of the other salons i have frequented in the past over-drilled whenever I had gel or dipping--causing nails to become thin and weak for months on end--even though i requested they skip the drilling or do the absolute minimal amount of drilling but they always did the opposite of what I asked. Not H D Nails , though. I enjoyed my pedicure. The technician was clearly very experienced and fast. She was helpful in advising on my options. I went to get a quick simple set of acrylics one afternoon. I came in and was quickly seated however the whole process was rushed! My nails were all different lengths and different thicknesses. It is now 2am and I am trying to soak off a nail because my finger is throbbing and swollen. Not one time have I had this problem with my nails. read more

HD Nails is pretty close to my house. One day, I decided to take my daughter for a nail painting, while I got fills for my nails. Big Mistake. I must not stray from the safety net of Expert Nails. They are the best. At first, the conversation and the environment at HD was very nice, but then it was overwhelming. The guy doing my nails kept on talking and talking, periodically making sure I liked my nails (which weren't done yet, so how do I know?) To finally answer, no I did not like my nails at all. They looked so bad when they were done, I couldn't believe it. They were not straight, parts of the fill were stuck to my finger and not smoothed over. Instead of using the solar nails which I asked for, they painted, saying that it was better. When I went back to my normal place to correct my nails, they had to change masks because there was so much dust from the paint. They asked me who did my nails. I said no one that will ever do them again. I wasn't kidding. read more

I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm and they were able to do my pedicure immediately. Decent polish selection. This nail salon is clean and simple. I paid $26 for a basic pedicure which included the vibrating chair, brief leg and foot massage and brief hot towel as well as callous removal. They offered another service for $5 extra but I didn't understand and I wasn't in the mood to spend extra so I declined. The trim of the nails and paint job were well done and I am happy with my $31 ($5 tip) spent on my feet. I will come back here again, especially since it is close to my apartment. I've been coming here for years! They always do Great with my nails! I usually go back and forth with the shape from stilleto to coffin and they always manage to shape them amazingly. You cannot beat this places prices! I made the mistake of going to a different salon and got charged 65 for something I would pay 40 for here. Trust me this place is great. And the waxing is great to my sister gets her eyebrows done here and they always look flawless. Ask for Jenny if you're in a hurry she does nails fast. Went in for the first time today and did not have a super great experience. The pedicure was mediocre at best with the polish being uneven as well as my nails being cut uneven. The girl doing my toes was not nice or helpful at all. Instead of telling me what she wanted me to do she would pull super hard on my feet to get me to move where she wanted. I love HD nails!! I love the solar glitter tips, so many color varieties! I always do holiday nails and they always have crafty ideas. I was going to Rose nail because it was closer to me but the quality wasn't the same. So now I will never let anyone else do my nails unless it is HD!!! I've been going there for several years now, and about a year ago I "recruited" my mom, sister and co-worker who all go there regularly now as well. They are very professional and treat us like royalty. As far as nail salons go (and I have been to MANY) they manage the multitasking of a salon better than I've seen anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable, and they recently painted and did some re-arranging and the place looks very welcoming.
