Hospitality is great from the time you walk in. I didn't have a scheduled appointment and they were able to squeeze me in with no problem. Atmosphere is relaxing and doesn't have that strong smell that some nail salons do. I got the Citrus pedicure with Andrew the service came with a nice neck wrap too. I want to start by saying that the customer service here is really good, everyone was really attentive and nice. The only reason I am giving it a three because after getting my nails done. I took closer look, and there's a lot of built-up acrylic and nail polish under my nails, my nail tech kept getting phone calls and stepping aside to answer , and she just seems to be having a bad day, so I totally understood. I will say that I've barely had these nails for a week, and there are a little bumpy. The acrylic is built up, and overall, I just think it could've been smooth out more to look neater. None of the less the shop is beautiful, clean, and they have a great selection. I think my nail tech was just having an off day. Still tipped and everything. It is very nice and clean here at this business. They accommodated with the time I came in even when I had an appointment and I was a little late. I had asked for the same set I had currently on my nails as I am from California and ofcourse my nails were very overgrown lmao. They had me sit in a really cool room specially for pedicures and I really liked that. The man working on my nails and feet is the amazing Peter! He was really nice and was taking the time to make sure I was happy with my results. Unfortunately because I came in a little late and I don't like having to stay when the salon is closed and I really don't like making people stay after hours. I went ahead and let him know that it's ok he didn't have to do a full set of acrylic or anything like that and I just wanted a solid color and one design from my original nails on my thumbnail. He was worried that he wouldn't get it right but I let him know it's ok and I don't really mind if it was perfect or not because at the end of the day he did a great job, the massage was awesome and my nails turned out great, Peter shaped my overgrown natural nails into a almond shape (my favorite shape) and they even had complementary drinks like water and soda, I had a green tea with water. And yah my nails are pretty fly and I really liked my experience there. If you're ever traveling from out of state and staying in San Antonio and have any nail emergencies I would definitely recommend coming here. And hey if you're a San Antonio local and have a hard time finding a good place, I would definitely make this spot my go to place. My most recent visit was deeply disappointing, and the difference in experience was impossible to ignore. When MacDaddy is present, the entire atmosphere shifts. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure I feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely valued as a client. From the moment he answers the phone to the time I leave the salon, there is intention in his service. He creates an environment that feels warm rather than transactional. He pays attention. He engages. He takes pride in the overall experience. Even the small details, like the drinks he prepares, reflect that level of care. Unfortunately, during my last visit, MacDaddy was not there, and the contrast was striking. What is normally a personalized and elevated experience felt rushed and impersonal. There was no effort to build connection, no warmth, no attentiveness. The service felt purely transactional, as though the priority was to move me through as quickly as possible while charging the highest price possible. There was no empathy, no desire to make the experience enjoyable, and no sense that client satisfaction mattered beyond the final bill. It was the complete opposite of what I have come to expect when he is present. Consistency is essential in the service industry. A salon's standard should not depend on one individual to uphold it. The fact that the quality declines so drastically in his absence raises concerns about the overall culture and training within the establishment. I left feeling disappointed, undervalued, and honestly embarrassed for having recommended this salon in the past. I have avoided gel manicures for years because they left my nails so fragile. Today I decided to give it another try, and I am so disappointed. First, I said I wanted gel on my fingers and regular polish on my toes. When the tech was about halfway through my toes I noticed the process was like gel nails, but I decided to let it go. I was charged for gel, with a $5 discount. Ok. When the tech was done with my nails they were no where close to opaque. He buffed the top a bit, and applied more polish, but I can, and have done a better job myself. Very disappointed. The salon is nice, Mac was a gem, and the pedicure was relaxing, but it would be hard to go back given the way my fingernails look. I'm actually embarrassed by them, although I know in the big picture it's a small problem. read more

I've been here twice. The first time the host did not offer me and my son a free drink, but she did offer others. My son's nail technician gave me coupons that weren't able to be accepted during payment. It was odd. She was being very secretive about it. Made me feel awkward. The second time the host did offer me a free drink and I had my son's previous nail technician who painted my finger nails with gel instead of regular nail polish which is what I asked for and paid for. I think she thought she was giving me a free upgrade, but I didn't want gel. It's too difficult to take off and it weakens the nail bed. The pedicures and manicures themselves were great. This nail spa offers of variety and both times the nail technicians were thorough and I left with great looking and feeling hands and feet. Sadly, though, I hesitate to go back. Two uncomfortable experiences with a boundary-less nail technician is clearly enough to make anyone shy away. read more

I went to this salon for lash extensions, bringing a clear reference photo of what I wanted. What I got was nothing like it -- a messy, sloppy job with no shape or order. The tech was literally cutting the lashes, and the result was disastrous. I've had lashes done many times (elsewhere) and never anything this bad. If you don't know how to apply lashes, stop advertising that you do. Remove the sign and stick to nails, because your lash work is absolutely terrible. I would never recommend this place for lashes to anyone. read more

I love getting my lashes done here with Paula , she is the absolute best tech I've ever had she knows what she's doing and always gives me exactly what I am asking for. The retention on my lashes is absolutely amazing I have very little to no fallout unless my allergies are bad but otherwise as long as I do my after care and clean my lashes they will last forever no one has ever had such great retention as i do when I get my lashes done with her.
