If you thought you couldn't love HEB enough, try their pharmacy... this pharmacy.. on a Friday morning when you just rolled your ankle and you crawled to your car to get to the nearest angel of mercy....I waited patiently thru the drive thru pretending to be picking up or dropping off a prescription from the good ol doc... so fraudulent.. I get up to the talky window box and explain my tragedy to the nice lady on the other end. She was super kind and eager to help my crippled self. She left her command post and ventured off into the store aisle to retrieve me some much needed magical pills to help ease the pain. She got me the 100 pack without even asking and also gave me instructions on icing and rest. I am so appreciative that she was the one who I came in contact with in my time of need. Not sure what happened, but disappointing for what we've come to expect from our HEB. This pharmacy appears very poorly managed, always has a very long line, no sense of urgency. Even if you use the option to prepay you are still required to wait in the very long lines. If you try to utilize their delivery service, you have to call in prior to their daily cut off. Instead of setting your delivery for the next day, you've got to call back the next day to schedule. What?! We've moved all of our prescriptions to either 90 day service or to the company capsule. Much more efficient. read more

Every member of my household has at least one long-term prescription, and most of us have a few. This HEB is our primary pharmacy. I don't understand the bad reviews. I notice they are light on detail, which makes me wonder if some folks have unreasonable expectations or don't understand that pharmacists must follow laws and protocols. As someone who goes here at least a few times a month, and has for several years, we are very happy with the pharmacy staff. Yes, it is a very busy location. But I have found the staff to be polite, hardworking, and competent. I also find they really seem to appreciate and respond well to some ordinary politeness ! I think they have to deal with a lot of very grumpy people in their jobs, and I have actually even seen customers become abusive (screaming obscenities) at the staff and other customers, when they didn't instantly get what they want. It isn't fair or right. These employees are really reliable and do a great job. read more

I find this pharmacy to be quite disorganized. They're always slow at helping their customers. It always seems difficult for them to find your medications-it was put in the wrong place or something needs clarification with your insurance even though it's the same med and same insurance you've been using all along. I feel like they need a manager to come along and streamline their system, it's horrible. Definitely going to be looking elsewhere to get my prescriptions filled! read more

I had sworn off this HEB Pharmacy for a couple months due to the long lines (especially on Mondays after work). But the convenience of getting my medicine a my local grocery store eventually won out, and I stopped going to the Walgreens a mile down the street. read more

Bummed I couldn't do zero stars. Too many stories to distill down into one description.

I understand some they H-E-B Pharmacy management wants to make a profit. Multiple issues with this particular H-E-B pharmacy, that can't be explained away, point to a systemic issue at this location - that can not be classified as just having a bad day. 1) Ignoring faxed RXs for 3 days, requiring a call to the Doctor's emergency line, and having the Dr's call in the RX 2) After calling in a refill request, it still was not ready 2 days latter, requiring 3) Promising to fill an simple RX day after day, but because of a "stock" issue they could not fill it, and had to "order" it - After a week, I gave up and transferred the RX to the Leander H-E-B who filled it in 30 minutes the same day. read more

One of the worst pharmacies in the area I'd say. Prescriptions are never filled when they're supposed to. Other times refills are filled even though they weren't requested. Half of the time if I have more than one prescription, only one part of it is filled and the other is missing. read more

Just stopping by to share that I've had a great interaction with anyone working behind the counter at this pharmacy; I don't take my prescriptions anywhere else because of my experience here. Today, Joe noticed I was sitting in the waiting area, stopped helping people in line for a moment while he popped his head out of the back door and asked for my information so he could check on my order. Was called up almost immediately after that. Impressed with the level of concern shown for anyone who walks up. Thanks for being the best at pretty much everything, HEB! read more

I normally. love HEB pharmacy. The one off Braker (North hills10710 Research Blvd, Ste 200) is great. They let me know what scripts are ready and are always pleasant and listen to what I have to say as it typic involves the APP. The one at Lakeline that I am now using is not bad, but doesn't feel like they can handle the work load of that many customers. Now the Whitestone Pharmacy is the worst. I had a script there once and they were going to refill it each time instead of notating that it was a one time fill for another pharmacy that had to wait on the order. The script was one you didn't want to miss a dose on. I have a good temperament when things get tough, but some people take advantage of you. Whitestone felt to keep refilling at their location. I phoned to see why it was being sent there, maybe it was a APP error or a quick fix. Silvia, the lady whom answered the phone would not listen to anything I had to say to help me with the issue. She had an attitude, cut me off while speaking, and was very rude. If they are so busy at Whitestone then they should shut down what they can't manage to operate properly. Phoning a script to be transferred won't fix the issue of my refills going to wring location. Other pharmacist investigate, research, and even speak with my prescriber. Don't expect that type of quality at the Whitestone Pharmacy at all. Zero stars to the Whitestone HEB pharmacy (170 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park/ 2800 East Whitestone) as it has the worst service. read more
